Then had my feet measured, but not just measured, they seemed to measure where bits of my feet were. Then various options were presented, each explained and a quite thorough check to make sure the shortlist fitted properly. So I walked up and down a ramp, wandered around the shop. And, eventually, had a pair of boots that are, quite literally, some of the most comfortable things I've had on my feet. If you need boots, go here. It's rare these days to get proper attention when choosing footware.”

“I was on my way to Somerset for my mother’s funeral. I got a low pressure warning so tried to take off the valve caps to check but could not remove the caps. Went to Halfords for help and Jay was able to spray it and remove the cap and inflate the tyre to correct psi. So grateful, took 5 minutes. Have to say that the young lady who was managing the shop was very professional and very knowledgeable. She turned what could have been a very stressful time into a pleasant one. We were able to kit my daughter out for school very quickly. The quality of the products available is very good and very affordable. A lot more affordable than l had initially calculated as well. “Visited the Cearphilly store today and was greeted by a pleasent young man at your till. He was engaged in the most exasperating phone call with another customer. Even standing away from the phone we could hear your staff member was doing his very best to provide the phone customer with the best service he could dispite thier inability to provide your staff member with the most basic curtousy. “The ladies at Beams really know their stuff! They were very efficient; recommending the correct sizes for my daughter’s uniform and then notifying me as soon as the order had arrived. Also, when I noticed a manufacturing fault with a PE top I’d ordered after collection, they replaced it quickly and without any quibbles. I don’t think people appreciate how hard they work and how good they are at their jobs, especially during peak times! Thank you ladies, see you next year!”

“Very empty which was great for me as usually I go to the same shop up the road in Mcarthur Glen which is always packed. No one pestering me or having to do the 2meter dance to avoid people. The shop assistant when I needed to check shoe sizing was fast and very polite.”

Check their website before you purchase as very often the the same item/product is advertised cheaper online than labelled in the shop. They have dynamic pricing so that all stock can vary in price and relabelling and updating thousands of products daily might require a few extra staff. Had a great bargain in a pair of Karrimor boots and am well pleased. Get in there!”
