   Customer service is shoddy at best and offensive at worst here! I’ve popped in multiple times throughout the last few months and have never been acknowledged by any staff! Management are always sat on the till area, talking amongst themselves to the point where it’s awkward and intimidating to talk to them for any sizes or to use the fitting room. Staff are constantly on their phones and not caring what’s going on on the shop floor. The range is meh and there are plenty of brand shops with far superior customer service in the area that I’ll be supporting from now on.

   Visited this am. While husband was buying items for our son at the till, myself and our daughter stood in the trouser section. A female staff member was stood behind us looking at a phone type device. I said “excuse me” as I wanted to ask her something about the trousers. As she did not respond, I said excuse me a second time and smiled when she turned around. At this point I noticed she was holding a phone to her left ear. Her response was a glare and to hold a finger up in a “shush” gesture before walking off. (She was not talking to anyone on the phone nor was she at any point while stood behind us). As a shop owner myself, I was completely shocked to be addressed in this way. Appalling customer service by this individual and we regret spending our money in the shop.

   The guy behind the desk was very helpful when I went on Tuesday 20th April. Last time I went to route one was when I was 14 I'm 28 now. Same vibe pretty chill the guy was very informative and we had a casual chat whilst my deck was gripped, I'll definitely be heading back for all my board upgrades and parts in the near future.

   If you own nice clothes- DO NOT ENTER. It was assumed that someone I was with was “With a shop”. I’m assuming they thought he was a reseller? But no, he’s just a normal person who likes nice clothes. As a result they refused to let him purchase some shoes.. Very very petty but also poor management! In all honestly, you can literally buy everything Route One sell brand new online for cheaper- so don’t waste your time. Only worth visiting to see if something you want to buy online fits okay. Worst management for a clothes store I’ve personally encountered.

   Visited the store today to buy my son his first skateboard. wow! what an excellent store! Such a great range of products to choose from. All staff were polite and extremely knowledgeable about the products that they sell. The staff built the board up for us while we waited and my son sat and played the playstation which he loved. All in all a great shopping experience
