finally tracked down my Hotter shoes and Hazel rang around their shops check with me to say she was still locating them took payment and arrived within day they went over and above with their customer service thank you 5 *
Took a pair of badly worn ankle boots in to see if they could be repaired before throwing them away. Matt said he could definitely repair them and they now look as good as new! I am absolutely delighted. Thank you Matt
Looking for a pair of navy Ruby Shoo shoes for my son's wedding. Had seen two pairs I'd fancied on the Ruby Shoo website but unfortunately they didn't have my size. I then discovered that A G.Meek sold Ruby Shoo. Both pairs were on display in the shop however, the navy ones weren't in my size(5) and the ones in my size, they only had in mustard. It was suggested I try on line. I did manage to find on line with A G Meek a different style Ruby Shoo I liked in my size and ordered them. Unfortunately I had an email the next day to apologise that these shoes were not actually in stock there had BN an error with the wrong shoe box being scanned. They did suggest an alternative but it wasn't quite what I was looking for.
Boots only lasted 2 months. The woman in the shop was stroppy. The owner won't let any staff decide on refunds / replacement issues so had to hang around town all day to wait for him to return to the store. He argued it out and the easiest way to get my fussy daughter some shoes and get out of the shop was to accept a second pair at half price. Looking online now ag meek are selling them at twice the price of other retailers anyhow. Their handling of the situation was poor. I feel let down and am put off from purchasing from independent suppliers. I wasn't happy with the outcome. I've now spent a lot of money on 2 pairs of rubbish boots. I could have bought 1 pair of doc martins for less which would have lasted 3 times as long. I have I only accepted the half price boots because I literally had no other option. My daughter had no shoes.
We went into the Cardiff store at the weekend as we were lucky to win a pair of Lelli Kelly shoes for my daughter. When we went in the staff behind the counter smiled. I explained we had one the competition and they asked which shows we would like. We chose some and they brought them down in 2 sizes. They tried both styles and advised on fit. My daughter was very excited but they spent time to show her what came with the shoes.
I had the pleasure of working at AG Meek in st David’s quite a few years back whilst at university. Great family run company to work for. The choice & range of shoes & handbags is second to none. Mr Meek went above & beyond with customer requests and always fulfilled them in a timely manner. A great shoe shop to suit all needs!
Went into Cardiff store today looking for shoes for a wedding following a recommendation. Lovely choice of shoes but shamefully unhelpful staff. 3 Ladies stood around counter chatting about themselves, ignoring customers. No offer of help and even worse I overheard them laughing at another customer. Needless to say I took my custom elsewhere to a store not so far away where customer service is second to none
