“Lovely 3 night stay at Staybridge Suites in Cardiff. Great location as it sits between Cardiff Bay & the City Centre. We stayed in a king suite overlooking the water. The bed was comfortable, bathroom modern, kitchen facilities available as well as a wardrobe, table & chairs, pouffe & plenty of storage space. Staff were all very friendly and attended to all of our needs. There's an onsite gym overlooking the water, a free laundry room to use, snacks to buy and a bar which connects staybridge suites with the Holiday Inn. There are social nights during the week and a den or food area to relax. Breakfast included. There were hot & cold options. Rooms were cleaned daily. Check in from 3pm and checkout at 11am. Parking available on a first come first served basis priced at £10 per day.”

“Absolutely amazing I couldn’t be more happy me and my partner stayed here for 1 night wish we had booked more lovely and warm all around rooms are beautiful and tidy ! Customer service is outstanding ! Pool and jacuzzi are insane! Food is lovely cooked to perfection staff are so so friendly cleaners are On it all the time ! Best hotel in Cardiff by far ! Great location you have dominoes across the road ! Wish I could give this more than 5 stars so happy! The prices are great! Well worth the money we will be back soon”

“For a budget hotel, this ibis strongly exceeds expectations. When I came, breakfast was £6 a head for all you can eat. Staff were kind and considerate. 5* for service but mainly due to the lack of expectations. I do not expect amazing service in a budget hotel but feel we still got more than we paid for. Double room is reasonably sized, excellent shower facilities and spacious enough if all you plan to do is sleep or surf the internet. Location is great, a five minute walk from the City Centre, and 7 minutes walk from where the coach gets in. Absolutely fantastic, and £38/night. Great weekend, thank you all.”

“Have participated in many galas here over the years! I like how the changing area has open as well as cubicle showers so you don’t have to be around everyone. Also has plenty of changing cubicles which are usually very clean. - Easy access into the pool from the changing village and the downstairs area - also where the swimming scenes from Sex Education were filmed which makes swimming here a lot cooler now”
