“Maisie has the time of her life on her visits and stays here. Kim and team are incredibly experienced and do so much to keep her engaged and enriched. She loves the wonderful walks and playtime with the other day trippers and happy camper dogs, such a fantastic opportunity to socialise. Photo and video updates are lovely to receive. Would give 10 Stars ⭐️ if I could. Cannot recommend highly enough.”

“I’ve been using Friends for Pets since Sept ‘23 and highly recommend Beth (I’m sure the other dog walkers are just as great too but I’ve always had Beth to walk my collie). From day one, she’s made me feel reassured that my dog is in safe, loving hands. Sblot (my dog) is always excited to see her, even when she’s out on a walk with me and spots Beth out with other dogs!”

“I’ve been taking my dogs to Glyntawel for about 6-7 years as boarders and daycare. Jayne and her staff are amazing and so caring with the dogs. The standard of the kennels is top notch. The freedom available is field to run in, a dog house for when it’s raining which is furnished with chairs and settees. They do agility, grooming and anything else your dog requires. What more can I say other than Glyntawel comes highly recommended.”

“We used We Love Pets Newport for the first time this weekend and are really pleased we did. We have two adopted kittens born in lockdown so they are quite nervous being left alone and are pretty timid with new people. Nikki was great with them. She came and met them beforehand and was obviously very knowledgeable and professional. She made me feel really comfortable leaving them at home for the first time. Nikki visited exactly when she said she would, did what we asked, and sent us photos of them after the visit so we knew they were OK. It was also clear from the photos that the kitties responded well to her and allowed her close enough to pet which is great for them. We will definitely use the service next time we need to go away and would recommend!”

“Thanks to Scott, Jack and Cerys for making Ralph’s first time at the little dogs hotel so amazing! It was Ralph’s first time staying somewhere other than family so I was a bit nervous, but the team and environment is great! We were sent daily updates and photos so I could relax and enjoy my holiday, knowing he’s in safe hands and enjoying himself making new besties! “I stayed at EasyHotel Cardiff for two nights over the weekend with my boyfriend, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good our stay was. The room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The double bed was very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day out in the city. The staff at both reception and housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We booked last minute via a phone call and paid on arrival, which was quick and convenient. The rooms are very pocket-friendly and definitely worth the value for money. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!”

“I contacted Royvon a few months ago as I needed somewhere for my dog Ellie to stay while we were on holiday for two weeks at the start of August 2025. Ellie is a rescue dog and is nervous and reactive. I was booked in to take Ellie along for an hour to see if she would be ok, we met Richard in that hour and he said she would be fine. I was still unsure but I had read reviews for lots of places but Royvon stood out for me. We took Ellie for her two week stay a few weeks later and left her with Richard and colleagues. I was really nervous about leaving her, however my nerves were settled upon receiving daily reports including Photos on Ellies stay, yes for the first few days she struggled and her appetite dropped but within three days she was eating and settling in. I will definitely be using Royvon again and willingly recommend them to people.”

“We had a wonderful and comfortable stay here. Positives are location, comfort and the service and staff. We were able to drop our luggage to the hotel before check-in and leave it there after check-out whilst we enjoyed the vast shops of Cardiff town. The breakfast was delicious too. The only negative- we were unable to book the restaurant for dinner. The only available time was 9pm and this was when trying to book before 5pm. We were offered to sit and eat from the bar menu, however we found the music too loud to hold a conversation and the table size not suitable to sit comfortably with a meal. We therefore ordered room service. This was delivered quicker than anticipated but was tepid, the sprouts were extremely soft/soggy, the parsnips and potatoes dried out and the Turkey was dry too. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Overall, I loved it.”

“I had the loveliest experience at this vineyard – it’s an absolute hidden gem! The setting is stunning, with peaceful vineyard views that made the whole visit feel like a little escape. The food was just as beautiful as the surroundings – fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with care. Every dish was thoughtfully presented and paired so well with their wines. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve.”

“Lovely 3 night stay at Staybridge Suites in Cardiff. Great location as it sits between Cardiff Bay & the City Centre. We stayed in a king suite overlooking the water. The bed was comfortable, bathroom modern, kitchen facilities available as well as a wardrobe, table & chairs, pouffe & plenty of storage space. Staff were all very friendly and attended to all of our needs. There's an onsite gym overlooking the water, a free laundry room to use, snacks to buy and a bar which connects staybridge suites with the Holiday Inn. There are social nights during the week and a den or food area to relax. Breakfast included. There were hot & cold options. Rooms were cleaned daily. Check in from 3pm and checkout at 11am. Parking available on a first come first served basis priced at £10 per day.”

“We were stranded at short notice and the Vale hotel took us in, gave us breakfast and looked after us for the entire day. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Sharon and Gerard took care of us like family. We are forever grateful. We will definitely be staying again.”

“My now wife and I recently got married at New House, and the whole experience couldn’t have been better. The grounds are beautiful, the view of the city is incredible, and the staff couldn’t have done more for us. Breakfast and dinner were also great. The Wyndham suite and marquee are brilliant for a wedding, and the Countess and Marques suites are perfect bedrooms for the occasion. We would 100% recommend this venue for a wedding or just for a hotel getaway.”

“Stayed here for 3 night from the 28th of July 2025, was made welcome from a lovely guy called CHRIS who assigned us room 103. I've stayed in many 5* hotels in America, Asia and Europe, and although this was a budget hotel CHRIS was by far the best front of house staff we ever encountered. Throughout our stay CHRIS was so helpful for any information we required and couldn't help us enough. We came as guests and left as friends. Thanks CHRIS.”

“We had our wedding day here, and It is the best venue with the most incredible staff. Molly and Klaudia in the events team while helping plan were always there for us and couldn't of done anything more, making everything as stress free and easy as humanly possible, all while being so kind! On the day Mike and Amy made sure everything went to plan and were so wonderful to us and our guests, and Wayne the evening DJ was amazing too. We couldn't recommend a better more accommodating venue, and the rooms that we and some of the guests stayed in were perfect. Thank you so much to the whole team at the bear!”

“Had lovely room but there'd been a leak so moved to a suite. Very good stay. I wasn't well, the maids left me peace. Refrigerator was useful so I was able to keep cold water and a sandwich fresh. Only negative there's no light without getting out of the bed in the sitting room. Helpful staff. Free parking. Clean, quiet, 8 minute walk to the Bay.”

“Excellent service from the gentleman on the desk (didnt quite catch his name). He upgraded both our rooms to executive suites. One was a lot smaller than the other and the fridge in the smaller room wasnt working. However this didnt affect our stay in the slightest. Staff were super friendly, made it easier for conversation as one of us were already dressed up to go out!! Rooms were super clean, tv was of a good size only downfall was we could not connect to the chromecast in any of the rooms. Cant comment on the bar/restaurant as only popped in there for one drink before heading out. But it was lovely and clean and the drinks were nice. The pool was nice, jaccuzzi/hot tub could have been warmer but it was ok. Parking charges are a bit on the high side, but we had a lift there and back. Id definatly reccommend and would stay again but would park elsewhere or catch a train and walk. Honestly though the gentleman on the desk was an absolute gem and hes a credit to your hotel. Cant wait to return.”

“We booked the room for 4 days. Breakfast was quite good. It has other meal deals also. Room was comfortable & bus stations is just across the road. Different buses including sightseeing stop here. Check the timmings & dates for sightseeing bus. A halal buffet resturant..buffet tonight ...( 18 pound ) with more than 50 items ,is 100 meters away in red dragon mall, with a cinema..games for kids & bowling alley.”

“My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Coal Exchange on the 8th of August 2025, and we honestly can’t speak highly enough of the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. A big thank you to Jamie on reception, who was incredibly friendly and polite – he made us feel instantly welcome and set the tone for a fantastic stay. Our room was stunning – beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The highlight was definitely the spa bath in the room, which added a luxurious and relaxing touch to our evening. It was the perfect way to unwind. We also had the chance to dine at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Special mention goes to restaurant managers Haley and Sam T, who were both outstanding – attentive, professional, and clearly passionate about delivering a great dining experience. All in all, The Coal Exchange exceeded our expectations in every way. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!”

“Spot on location. Hotel was spotless inside and out. Beautiful kept garden at the back of property. We stayed in room 8 sea veiw room at the top. Views were amazing. Room was very clean and well equipped, bathroom was stunning. I highly recommend a stay. Plenty of restaurants in area. Brilliant walks.”

“Fantastic choice of gin displayed prettily. Bar person was knowledgeable about the flavours and found my friend and I gins we hadn't tried before but loved. Lovely glasses and garnish with the drinks. Chilled out vibe when we went.”
