We have stayed at this hotel for New Year’s holidays and found it to be one of the best accommodation options during our stay. The family room was spacious and clean. The staff were consistently helpful and the hotel offers complimentary parking facilities. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the city centre and there are numerous dining options within walking distance.

Lovely place, room and location. We booked for 2 nights whilst we visited family. First night our swipe cards didn’t work on the door so went down to get them sorted. They didn’t work either. Receptionist came up to change the door lock. Got into the room which was nice but no travel cot like booking.com confirmed after request. Didn’t bother to go down and ask after the door card issues. The next day we left early and we purposely didn’t leave the “make up my room” door card as we were only in for 1 more night and a made bed made no difference too us. We left valuables and private things out in the room on the back of not requesting a room clean and yet when we returned to the room somebody had let themselves in, half arsed made the bed and half arsed hoovered. Not only did we NOT request it but what was even the point of the effort wasn’t made. We felt like our privacy was invaded and it made us uncomfortable. Upon ringing reception to ask why they said it’s “policy” if there isn’t a door card to not request a clean, they’ll just let themselves in rather than having the “please clean” sign on. They’ll just come in. Compelelty wrong in my opinion and this should be made aware to guests.

Had lovely room but there'd been a leak so moved to a suite. Very good stay. I wasn't well, the maids left me peace. Refrigerator was useful so I was able to keep cold water and a sandwich fresh. Only negative there's no light without getting out of the bed in the sitting room. Helpful staff. Free parking. Clean, quiet, 8 minute walk to the Bay.

It was a great experience. Easy check-in and check-out. Very clean. Big, quiet rooms with comfortable beds (the pillows are uber comfortable), spacious bathroom and toilet. It's walking distance to the Wales Millennium Centre, train station, cinema and entertainment centres including Mermaid Quay. The restaurant downstairs is great for a drink. Professional, welcoming, warm and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, water dispenser on every floor and they provide a glass water jug in the rooms if you want to fill water for rooms. They also left apples in the basket on every floor next to the water dispenser which was very cute. Great amenities included. Our room was big which is not alway common in UK hotels, we had two double beds and they were comfortable. Lots of parking spaces which is convenient, has a few restaurants near it and a cinema and arcade and it's a walk away from Cardiff bay which has lots more restaurants, places to see, shopping, sainsburys and tesco, roses etc TV was old school, so we couldn't watch any movie which was a put off since we enjoy watching movie at night with our little one. Do check Zaika restaurant out of you like Pakistani food. There's another buffet place inside, don't bother going there as the food is below average. Even though it was a pretty busy hotel with lots of people staying, it was pretty quiet. Overall, a good hotel to stay at. I would definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Paid £40 more for the night to get a suite which was well worth the money. The hotel even gave us a bottle of bubbly and some fresh fruit. Breakfast was good with full English and good hot drinks selection. Bar was reasonably priced too. Location was okay, great for being close to the bay but 30 minute walk to get into the city centre... Lots of taxis available. We did have an issue with the TV signal however this was looked into and although they couldn't fix it they dealt with the situation the best they could and got a partial refund... Can't ask for much more.

Beautiful hotel with high standard. Breakfast is fresh and lots of choices. Two Double beds in the bedroom, hot water is available anytime and stable. Toilet is dependant from wet room. Location is good and in the city centre. WiFi is stable. Only problem is the car park is not enough and we had 5 rooms booked for 2 nights, but struggled to find a parking space for a car.

What a wonderful experience we had. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy with no issues. Our room was much larger than expected and was spotlessly clean and well provided with clean linen, coffee, tea and biscuits . The bar restaurant area is clean, the beer well kept and at reasonable prices. Breakfast is buffet style with much to choose from all well cooked, just perfect The location is just perfect for the city centre, the bay and theatre. Don't forget to enter your car reg & room number into the display screen in reception to avoid being charged. If you are a light sleeper then I would recommend taking earplugs as the noise from early morning traffic at the adjacent roundabout could be disturbing.

Love staying here, our first choose for visiting or fleeting visits. Fabulous breakfasts, full fry ups, pastries, cereal, fruit, pancakes & yogurts. Rooms are a lovely size. My only negative is how close I find the rooms in the nights, I personally need the windows open which is ok if you don't mind the noise from the traffic. It's not too bad, not for the light sleepers though.

Stayed a couple of nights. Hotel is well located to both the quay and Cardiff central. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and allowed for peaceful sleeping despite being located near a busy road. There was ample parking space which is free to hotel guests. Did not eat at the restaurant but visited the bar in the evening which was a convenient last stop for the evening. The stay was reasonably priced and would gladly do it again.
