“If you get a chance to go here, then do it. So much fun with my three friends. Easy to find, loads of parking, clean facilities and equipment. They had everything you would need bar swimwear. Great safety introduction and prep before the activity. The facilities were incredible. There was plenty of time to enjoy the rapids. We weren't around 5-6 times. The guy who took us out and looked after us was a top bloke from Australia (sadly I can't remember his name) but he was great, we had so much fun and he really got involved with our silly, immature girly nature's. He was encouraging but also respectful of individuals limitations. Thank you so much. Stacey”

“This park has something for everyone! Great for cycling and rollerblading on the wide paths. There are outdoor fitness equipment stations, tennis courts, and even a small cafe. It's the heart of the community—always buzzing with life, yet you can always find a quiet corner. Love it here!”

“I can't thank the staff here enough. We called in desperate need of an urgent appointment for our 8 month old french bulldog Martha-May. The reception staff were extremely helpful and very kindly booked us in straight away. From start to finish, the veterinary team was extremely attentive to Martha-May and could not do enough for her and us. All staff provided a professional and friendly service. We can not recommend the PDSA enough, and I would kindly ask for people to donate any old blankets or towels you may have as they are always in need of these items. “Ideal location just staying off the M4. Yes you can hear the noisy traffic but its not disturbed our sleep - the heavy rain did more damage to that ( and some dogs barking!!) Amazing family bathroom - with shower, bath and toilet all in one room for young families only. Everything is clean tidy, level gravel pitch. Very friendly staff. We have enjoyed our stay here with out 3 young children. So much room to go off on our bikes, play park etc.”

“Great place to play an 18 hole, dinosaur themed outdoor mini golf course. 15 minute drive from Cardiff centre, via the lovely scenic Rover Way. Price is par for the course when it comes to mini golf in Cardiff at £8.50 per person. There's also a soft play centre, driving range and golf shop here. Plenty of free parking outside for both the golf centre and the soft play area.”

“We have used Park Vets for the past 25+ years and always found them excellent. Over the last nine months our dog Harry who was 15 under went an operation on his neck. It was a great success and he bounced out of it, with a new lease of life. Sadly he was taken ill in July and it was decided he would have teeth out. Following tests it was found he was a very poorly boy. We made the sad decision for him to be put to sleep. Through all of this the practise were excellent, in particular Michaela made this sad process easier to bear. All staff were so lovely and supportive. I would recommend them to everyone.”

“Lovely vets, made my little girl feel so comfortable she gets excited to go now! Update: I got my dog spayed here, and I cannot thank the lovely lady who discharged her enough. When dropping her off in the morning, she explained everything I needed to know. When I picked her up she went through everything, answered all the questions I had, and didn’t make me feel silly for being emotional. My little dog is my whole world, and after some previous dogs of mine had bad experiences with the vets they went to I was very nervous about this process. The staff here are wonderful, and I wouldn’t dream of taking her anywhere else. Thank you all for looking after my little Gwenllian ♥️”

“We were stranded at short notice and the Vale hotel took us in, gave us breakfast and looked after us for the entire day. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Sharon and Gerard took care of us like family. We are forever grateful. We will definitely be staying again.”

“Me and my little one attend turtle tots class in health hospital pool every week. We can’t recommend it enough. He absolutely loves it and has grown so much confidence in matter of weeks. He is only just two and is already able to swim which is crazy and this is all due to his amazing teacher Ceri-Anne.”

“We have just returned from a weeks stay at this superb B&B. We have stayed in many guest houses but have never felt quite at home as much as we did here. Tony and Jane are the perfect hosts, in fact, we felt like we had known them for years, they are so friendly and easy to talk to. The house is stunning inside and out and is immaculate. Our room was spacious with a relaxing view over the park. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. “I have just returned today after a weeks holiday with Lynda looking after my cat Sherbert! The service I recieved was fantastic!! She went above and beyond when looking after Sherbert! Every day I recieved updates on how he was doing with pictures and videos - this extra special touch goes a long way to making you feel at ease that your animal is in safe hands and being well looked after! It is clear to see that Lynda is an animal lover and has a passion and love for caring for animals! I came home to a very happy Sherbert who enjoyed Lynda's visits and company! We can't wait to use her again! Really enjoyed my time away knowing my furry baby was being so well looked after! Thank you again! See you soon!! :) xx”

“Stayed here for 3 night from the 28th of July 2025, was made welcome from a lovely guy called CHRIS who assigned us room 103. I've stayed in many 5* hotels in America, Asia and Europe, and although this was a budget hotel CHRIS was by far the best front of house staff we ever encountered. Throughout our stay CHRIS was so helpful for any information we required and couldn't help us enough. We came as guests and left as friends. Thanks CHRIS.”

“Very big and beautiful place! Lots of paths in the woods. The forest is kept clean and the path was not too muddy. Took a little more than an hour to walk from the west side of the woods to the east.”

“Had lovely room but there'd been a leak so moved to a suite. Very good stay. I wasn't well, the maids left me peace. Refrigerator was useful so I was able to keep cold water and a sandwich fresh. Only negative there's no light without getting out of the bed in the sitting room. Helpful staff. Free parking. Clean, quiet, 8 minute walk to the Bay.”

“The location is perfect, as it’s a short walk to all the city center attractions and to Cardiff Queen Street station. The room is comfortable and complete with all the amenities you may need. “A fantastic park with a combination of small children's playing area basketball small football goals high walls so that no balls get lost easily and I've concrete for everybody to mess around on and a large swath of grass to do the rest such as picking it is an absolutely ideal little tucked away Park”

“The cardiff clinic was the closest to me ref surgery pre and post care. From again the first meet everyone was very friendly, I met with Corrina - clinic manager who is always a friendly welcome on arrival , helpful proffessional . Ella - Receptionist always helpful nothing is too much to ask. Nurse Caroline - Friendly professional, again skilled in her area no question is too much.”
