“Had an excellent time during our latest visit to escape rooms Cardiff. Special shout out to Toni for being a great host! The rooms are well designed and fun. We’ve completed three rooms so far, and plan to experience all 7 rooms available. Highly recommended.”
“My partner and I had our scan yesterday, and from the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming reception team made us feel completely at ease. We decided to upgrade to the gender package, not for the gender reveal, since we’re keeping that a surprise, but so we could see our little one in 4D and take home some lovely digital photos. It was such a magical experience and gave us so much reassurance that our baby is doing wonderfully. The clinic is spotless, professionally run, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!”
“I joined the Totsplay baby development course with Kate in September and baby loved it so much we decided to double up and take him along to discovery tots at the same time. The classes have a great mix of activities, and plenty of ideas of things to do to entertain baby at home. What sets these classes apart from other baby groups we have attended is that Kate goes the extra mile to get the parents to mix together, go for coffee after class, and chat in the baby development Whatsapp group. This sets the tone for each class, and really made a difference as a first time mum attending my first baby group. We can't wait to continue with discovery tots after half term!”
“Amazing experience, definitely a difficult room (theres something outside) but is doable! Jump scares were really good. Bella was really helpful and enthusiastic, and James was looking over our room too. Thank you so much, would definitely come again”
“My party of three came in today and managed black queen with 14mins. We had a great time and as people who have done a few escape rooms it rated amongst the best, creative puzzles and good mix of tasks. Sam was very friendly and encouraging. Highly recommend this place!”
“Brought my Mum here in late November for both of us to have back-to-back treatments, and WOW it was on another level! I had the Highlands and she had the Spell - both with the lovely and amazing Solbi who was phenomenal! The treatments themselves were another level of magic with bespoke music and aromatherapy that takes you to another world (way more transformative than your standard massage in any other spa). We’re both so so grateful to Solbi for working her magic with us! Also the spa receptionist that day (we never got her name - had fabulous blue hair!) went above and beyond to look after my Mum: she was struggling with sensory overload and this lovely receptionist took the initiative to move my Mum to a darker soundproofed room whilst she waited for her treatment which truly helped her so much. We were both bowled over by how above and beyond everyone went, how neurodivergent-aware-and-informed they were, and by every single part of the experience. Thank you both so much!”
“The food and the cocktails were fantastic and our waiter Clev, was friendly and professional, and made our experience even more special.”
“Awesome rooms with inventive puzzles. We've done three of the rooms now and they've all been super fun. Also shout out to Chris, who was super friendly and whose narration really added to the atmosphere! Would highly recommend!”
“I came to first time this shop The staff welcome you though the door and are very nice..it was very busy, clean and tidy I think always busy like this and good job.well done guys”
“Really comfortable way to watch films. The bar area is very smart with a great atmosphere in the evenings. If you're having food it's best eaten at a table in the bar rather than off your laps in the dark! Less messy too.”
“This is such a well thought out and varied play space. It’s entertaining enough for repeat visits without being overstimulating like some traditional soft-plays. We held our 2 year old’s birthday party here fairly last minute after being let down by another venue (we didn’t know about Imagination Fascination beforehand otherwise we’d have just booked in the first place!) and it absolutely turned out for the best, as the team here could hardly have done more for us. Rebecca and Becky in particular worked their socks off pulling together a fantastic party for 40 very happy toddlers and their parents, and they’ve gained some very loyal customers out of it!”
“For the last 15 years I have attended Green Rooms with various bands and acts. It is without a doubt one of my all time favourite places to practice with my Band. Plenty of parking, excellent access, good local amenities & above all a place that is perfect for doing music videos, band photos and live performance.”
“Lovely place to have a coffee and play games! A must do in Western-super-mer. Staff was really kind helping us choosing a game and also explaining it. Had a lovely time and would definitely come back.”
“Would like to say how much of a credit Dean is, he was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Very honest and helpful, helped sort out my future father in law with a suit and he left extremely happy with his purchase. Thank you so much Dean for your amazing customer service and will be coming back again!”
“One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Very friendly staff. Best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel with so many food options. Excellent dinner too. Rooms are very stylish and super cozy. Easily best hotel in Cardiff for business!”
“Great selection of items and plenty of size choices.”
“Great place to play an 18 hole, dinosaur themed outdoor mini golf course. 15 minute drive from Cardiff centre, via the lovely scenic Rover Way. Price is par for the course when it comes to mini golf in Cardiff at £8.50 per person. There's also a soft play centre, driving range and golf shop here. Plenty of free parking outside for both the golf centre and the soft play area.”
“Me and my little one attend turtle tots class in health hospital pool every week. We can’t recommend it enough. He absolutely loves it and has grown so much confidence in matter of weeks. He is only just two and is already able to swim which is crazy and this is all due to his amazing teacher Ceri-Anne.”
“Really cannot rate this escape room highly enough! The kids did the ‘Steampunk’ room and the adults the ‘Peaky Blinders’. It was brilliant fun and really well managed to ensure we were given hints at the right time to make the game flow brilliantly. The attention to detail and props are all brilliant and all superbly run by the hosts. None of us had done escape rooms before, but we will definitely be back. Thanks to Reece and Middlemoor escape rooms for such a great afternoon”
“This place is a treasure. Just when you think you've seen it all you turn a corner into a whole new section. The dealers have really great items. We got some great stuff. I could have stayed all day exploring but we sadly had to be elsewhere. Highly recommended, it's worth a visit.”
“This place is great for children of all ages. They have separate zones for the different age groups and all looks well maintained. They have a Cafe that does a selection of food dishes and hot or cold drinks. One good feature is the locked gates to the toddler and separated baby areas so added security. There are plenty of tables and chairs around the whole area. At the side they have various video game machines and a seaside favourite is the 2p shuffle coin pusher, which the grandchildren just love. It's a little expensive but worth the money for the added security and facilities”
“Had lovely room but there'd been a leak so moved to a suite. Very good stay. I wasn't well, the maids left me peace. Refrigerator was useful so I was able to keep cold water and a sandwich fresh. Only negative there's no light without getting out of the bed in the sitting room. Helpful staff. Free parking. Clean, quiet, 8 minute walk to the Bay.”
“I recently joined David Lloyd and couldn’t be happier with the decision. The club itself is fantastic, from the spacious gym with top-quality equipment to the swimming pools, spa facilities, and welcoming lounge areas. Everything feels well maintained and has a premium feel, which makes coming here something to look forward to. A big part of why I signed up was the tour given by Ollie. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to explain all the facilities and how they could fit my needs. His professionalism and warm approach really stood out and made the whole joining process easy and enjoyable.”
“I've stayed here with friends twice for spa weekends. The hotel is excellent. Great location, helpful staff, lovely facilities and rooms are nice. The afternoon tea is great, Spa is lovely and treatments are great. Can't wait to return again!!”
“A very large shop and the only IKEA in Wales. The shop sells a wide variety of things for the home, including furniture, soft furnishings, bedding, storage boxes, crockery and kitchen utensils, lighting, rugs and much more. Most of the parking is underneath the shop (very useful on a rainy day) with some disabled spaces and electrical vehicle charging spaces located near the shop entrance. There are lifts, stairs and escalators providing access to the main shopping floors. The second floor is home to the main furniture showroom with the rest of the shop accessed via the first floor. If you don't want to look around the showroom, you can access the shopping area directly from the first floor (behind the stairs). If you are looking for anything in particular, I'd recommend checking stock online before visiting. The website will tell you whether the item is in stock here, how many they have and where they are located. They also have computers available at the main furniture warehouse which you can use to search for any items you need to find. The IKEA app offers a useful'scan as you shop' which is very useful to speed up checkout at the self-service tills via a dedicated express checkout. The shop includes a small restaurant and cafe (where IKEA Family members can claim a free hot drink), a small shop selling a selection of mostly Swedish food items and snacks and a children's crèche.”
“The location is perfect, as it’s a short walk to all the city center attractions and to Cardiff Queen Street station. The room is comfortable and complete with all the amenities you may need. But what really stands out is the staff. All super nice and helpful. Special praise to Marina, whose amazing service provided an exceptional stay!”
“Two happy young men... highly excited to see the new Superman film, so they decided to go for the imax experience. Hot day and train from Bristol, but they thought it was well worth it. Popcorn holders and cups were a great hit with them. Hottest day of the year, so air conditioning welcomed nice staff and a good experience for them. Thank you Forgot to say staff in superman capes was a nice touch.”
“A very large store with a second floor absolutely full of stuff for your large and small works. Large carpark out front with 'parent with child/baby' spaces. Event themed products (Halloween when I went there) which all looked pretty good. I particularly like the decorations you can paint yourself. Staff all seemed friendly and were quick to assist shoppers.”
“We booked the room for 4 days. Breakfast was quite good. It has other meal deals also. Room was comfortable & bus stations is just across the road. Different buses including sightseeing stop here. Check the timmings & dates for sightseeing bus. A halal buffet resturant..buffet tonight ...( 18 pound ) with more than 50 items ,is 100 meters away in red dragon mall, with a cinema..games for kids & bowling alley.”
“Food was lovely. I had the breaded chicken breast with fries, coleslaw, and egg. My mum had a full english breakfast. Didn't like the capers on top though I think it kinda ruined the meal but It's my own fault for forgetting to ask to remove them. Full english breakfast was lovely. They take blue light card which is great if you want a decent discount. It took a very long time for staff to take our order and bring the bill, it was busy though. I'd recommend if its not busy and if you have a blue light card as the price would be worth it for the discount. Suitable for people with food allergies and had no issues with that.”
