I visited Odeon in Cardiff on the 24th of Dec. The cinema was clean, staff was welcoming and friendly. Bathroom was very clean. The prices for food and drinks are quite high unfortunately, but they do allow you to bring your own snacks, which is a good thing. The leather seats are also comfortable, and it was easy for us to swap our seats online free of cost. I would recommend adding some kind of LED lights to the stairs to make it easier for people to see where they’re going, as I found the room to be quite dark, even though the movie didn’t start yet. We watched Avatar: Fire and Ash in the 3D Web version. I was very disappointed by the quality of the 3D adaptation, as in the beginning there was no 3D effect and the image was blurry. The 3D effect was inconsistent throughout the movie, sometimes it was great, sometimes it was awfully blurry… I know that IMAX offers a better experience, but I wasn’t expecting this one to be so bad. I’d rather go to a normal or IMAX screening than web 3D in the future. I’m not sure if this was a one time issue, or if all their 3D web screenings are like this. I’ve never experienced 3D in such a bad way. Overall, my experience at Odeon was good and I will visit again.

Movie wss dope. Serene environment great ambience, Polite staffs and great snacks to go with the movies ranging from Popcorn, chips, drinks e.t.c Free parking for 6hours but on the condition you have to register your car at the cinema front desk on a tap and do same at the boot outside while leaving to avoid a parking penalty charge. Grear place for everyone to be and have fun.

Went to watch Superman at the ODEON in Cardiff on the IMAX screen and honestly, it was a letdown. I was expecting a premium experience, especially since I paid for the Premier seats, but it was far from comfortable. The seats were stiff and not relaxing at all, and to make things worse, there was no air con. It was genuinely hot and stuffy in there, which made sitting through the film uncomfortable from start to finish. Yeah, the screen is big and the sound might be slightly better than your average cinema, but that’s not enough to make up for how uncomfortable it was. For £16 a ticket, I expected way more. If I’m paying that much, I want to actually enjoy the whole experience, not just the film. That being said, Superman was absolutely awesome. I’ll definitely be going to see it again, just not at ODEON. I’ll be sticking with Vue or Showcase from now on. Their screens and sound are still great, the seats are way more comfortable, and the tickets are much better value.

Two happy young men... highly excited to see the new Superman film, so they decided to go for the imax experience. Hot day and train from Bristol, but they thought it was well worth it. Popcorn holders and cups were a great hit with them. Hottest day of the year, so air conditioning welcomed nice staff and a good experience for them. Thank you Forgot to say staff in superman capes was a nice touch.

It was a very good experience for us. 1st time in the cinema in quite some time. Went to see Avatar and it was a very good film. 3 hours long after around 20 mins of adverts. Well worth watching and has very comfortable seats in the Premier seats. Had a lovely time and will go back again soon.

Great cinema, watched avatar in imax maybe I'm too short but don't think the seats were raised enough, brilliant sound and screen though and it wouldn't put me off going again, would be more careful with my seat selection

Great cinema; big screens, lots of leg space, pretty comfortable seats. Sorely missing The Gallery though, hopefully that comes back soon with the unlimited nachos and popcorn!!

Sorry to say that not a good experience. Tickets twice the price of Vue or Cineworld and cinema was freezing! People were sitting with their coats on. Staff were not as helpful as others have commented - no-one on sweet counter and when we asked 2 people who were standing around talking, they directed us to a queue where we were offered a small cup for £4:50. Don't go here if you want value for money.

Free parking via validation on an iPad before you enter the screens in the main lobby, with lots of spaces in the large car park. Great air-conditioning for when it's too hot outside. Three different styles of seating available at different price points and a VIP gallery for the IMAX screen.
