Best pint of Guinness in Cardiff easy, wicked boozer proper old school boozer. Opposite probably the worst boozer in history too which makes this place even better, lovely pub, lovely people, lovely

Proper pub just outside the main Cardiff thoroughfare, an excellent choice of ales on with choice of handle or straight, priced well at £4.40 or similar, had well kept porter for Ludlow, good to see a dark beer on tap as part of selection
An excellent little pub with a great atmosphere. Just over the road from the weatherspoons, it offers a great alternative. Intimate,cosy,and with a great selection of beers. Staff are friendly,helpful, and have excellent knowledge of the ales they serve. Great for a drink with friends. Recommended.
Came here on a tip for the best Guinness in Cardiff. Can confirm it is the best, with no competition. Beautiful pint and served with a smile. Guinness aside there’s a lovely selection here and something for everyone, with a lot of local drops. Definitely worth a visit!
Best wet‐led pub in the centre of Cardiff. A great range of ales in several styles for all tastes and a surprising range of real ciders from further afield. The landlord Andy is a well known Cardiff publican who used to run The Rummer Tavern among others.
My Sanctuary in Cardiff City centre. Proper friendly regulars and an ever changing cast of guest beers at very reasonable prices. Andy and Dave and the staff are great. A regular haunt for myself and my lady!
Fantastic place for cask ale. Totally unassuming outside, inside there is a range of usually local beers and in my experience always in spanking condition. Way the best place for quality cask ale in Central Cardiff.
Really quaint comfortable pub. Real ales and a good selection of ciders. Very accommodating and friendly owner. Proper old school service, offered a jug or straight glass for a good ale, as it should be. My choices were JD Weatherspoon, opposite or here, i made the right choice by far. Excellent independent, we should support more. Would highly recommend, easy 5 star.
