Gracie Barra Belfast BJJ Academy, also known as Lycan Grappling Academy, is a premier martial arts destination in East Belfast. Located in the Prince Regent Trade Centre, the academy offers a world-class environment for learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The curriculum includes specialized classes for children as young as six, as well as comprehensive adult programs. “My daughter and myself go here for ukulele lessons and my daughter does singing also. Very talented and professional people to be taught by make you feel comfortable and nothings a mistake it's a learning curve. My daughter considers Lydia her singing teacher to be a friend rather than just a teacher she is very good with my daughter and i have noticed her confidence come on leaps and bounds would highly recommend here for any one looking to learn any instrument or vocals”

“Just out of one of the funniest experiences ever. Myself and two friends “tried” to beat the prison system at Belfast Prison Experience. The cells were packed with brilliant tasks for all. Steven, one of our prison guards even joined in the fun in the tilt room which was definitely our favourite. He along with all the other friendly staff ensured we had a great time from the second we walked through the front door. It’s obvious they love what they do. The price was very reasonable for the experience and you could tailor your choice of cells to suit your personal preferences. Highly highly recommend a visit if you are in Belfast and looking for a bit of competitive fun.”

I love the yarn selection and made quite a few creations with the yarn I purchased from this lovely shop. The lovely employees here are what makes this a go to place as well.”

“Love this place. Even if you buy nothing, which i doubt you will, the ideas you pick up as you walk around the showroom are fabulous. A very helpful lady assisted us design our bedroom furniture and arranged fitting. That's what we went for yet managed to spend another £200 on things we saw as we walked around. Flat packed furniture which isn't too difficult to assemble, and it's sturdy. Really well worth a visit for anything from interior furniture to cups and saucers. You'll love it !”

Everything met my expectations — from the room to the food and the customer service. A special thank you to the person who checked me in. “We stayed here in September 2025. We usually are quite happy staying at a Hilton and this was no different. The people were quite friendly. We had breakfast each morning that was quite delicious. The location wasn't that great as it was difficult finding nearby restaurants. So, we ate dinner each night at the hotel restaurant. The meals were very nice. It was a nice quiet atmosphere and really very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and nice and clean. All in all, we had a very comfortable stay.”

“Love this hotel. Check in was friendly and nice and I got a late checkout when we left because I’d joined Ihg rewards a few years back. The room was smart, clean. Amazing shower. Comfortable bed with white cotton linen. The cleaning staff are the best. Tea/coffee in the room. We were very happy The location is great. It’s on the end of historic Sandy Row. Right by the grand central station trains and buses. Close to The Crown Pub which is very famous. Easy walking distance to the centre full of shops and great places to eat. Tip if you’re coming from the station look for a place called Halt. It’s got a bright yellow entrance. If you walk in and go straight to the other end you come out at the hotel. (Plus it’s a fab place to eat.) The holiday inn breakfast is the best. Every item is well made and thoughtful. Items vary from day to day. We loved Anna who was a waitress there. So kind and friendly. Nice vegetarian section too. All together a lovely stay. We felt at home there. We’d definitely stay again.”

I had spoke with live chat prior to staying, they helped arrange a birthday surprise for my fiance, which was great! Breakfast was lovely and not too crowded, bagels were delicious along with waffles. This hotel also has a well equipped gym, with enough machines to get a decent work out.”

“Had my daughters 10th birthday in the inflatable-park in Belfast couldn't recommend enough they had an absolute ball, service was great and was lovely to have a designated area to watch, unlimited drinks was a plus and the amount of food was amazing was also very tasty pizza chicken dippers and chips was a hit. Portion size was plentiful and the staff kept checking in on us which I thought was brilliant compared to other places your put in a room and forgot about. Great value for money will definitely be back. Great customer service all round brilliant experience”

“We had such a great time here! From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming (and yes, the warm cookie on arrival was a lovely touch!). We made full use of the pool and sauna – both were really clean and well maintained, and it was such a nice way to unwind. Later in the evening, we had a few drinks outside the bar and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The service was excellent and there was a good selection to choose from. There’s honestly loads to do at and around the hotel – whether you want to explore the grounds and play golf, relax, or stay active. The location feels peaceful and tucked away, but still close enough to Belfast if you want to head into the city. We left feeling totally refreshed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!”

“I did the Save Kings Landing room and it was so good I did it for my 21st birthday with my family. We managed to escape with 13 seconds remaining and our game master was lovely, I can’t remember her name but amazing! Recommend”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful especially night staff! Rooms were clean and nicely set up family room with 2 singles had 1 temporary bed. Came to check in at 3.30 had to wait just under an hour to get into the room but staff was very friendly about it and to be expected on a concert night. Room had a nice view and location was absolutely ideal for going to a concert in the SSE. Breakfast was a good price had a really good selection well worth it. Would stay here again”
