   Gemma took us on a club tour & gave us lots of information, was incredibly friendly and good craic. She looked at all options for us as a family and tailored the visit to what we were interested in. The club has had a good facelift since our last visit, great variety of classes and lots more facilities being added. A great first impression by Gemma, thank you!

   Great club, great classes great instructors. Something for everyone at every level. Staff at reception are extremely helpful. I especially enjoy the outdoor pool and claires spin classes.

   I joined this gym as I had previously been a member of another health club and loved the customer service so followed the senior team when they moved and I’m delighted that I did - fab customer service, fabulous services and love the vibe - do yourself a favour and join! Best decision x

   AVOID!! Since joining in 2023 I was happy using the facilities, however this isn’t the nature of my review. When I decided I wanted to end my membership with DL I was told I had to give them 3 months notice (I agreed to this) and I was also informed the minimum membership I could buy was a year long one. I agreed, signed up and payed monthly. After the year had passed I wasn’t looking to continue being a member but this wasn’t a problem as I was told when I first signed up the direct debit payments would be finished after the year and not renewed until I gave some authority to continue my membership. I was still having money taken from my account after ‘leaving’ - strange right?? So I blocked all payments being taken out of my account from David Lloyd’s and called it a day. One whole year later I receive an email from a third party debt collection agency who go by the name ARC limited Europe (with no previous warnings) entailing that I owed approx £350 to David Lloyd’s and if I don’t pay this I’m going to be taken to court. I informed them I had requested my membership was cancelled a year ago and haven’t been through the doors once since - not good enough and further pressure for me to make this payment was applied. It sickens me I’ve had to pay this money, especially whilst not using the club once. This is how DL treats their customers and ultimately how they make the majority of their money as I’ve seen similar problems happen to others. I have and will continue to divert people’s attention to other gyms that offer much more professional, efficient and hassle-free terms and conditions. For paying such premium costs to become a member here, it shouldn’t be a problem when somebody wants to leave for whatever reason. Oh, and good luck trying to get in touch with the ‘membership team’ because each time u ring you get told to call back later as the person ur on the phone with currently doesn’t know how to cancel a membership.

   David Lloyd has great facilities. The gym is massive with multiple machines etc. staff are friendly too. Quite expensive but I guess that’s to be expected. In general it does offer good value for money. I’d recommend to my friends and family.

   Great for families, I mainly use the pools, spa and gym while the kids enjoy the kids clubs and my wife enjoys the high intensity classes. Staff always friendly and helpful

   Great gym for family activity. I spend alot of my weekend at the pool and when possible head to the gym while my children enjoy playing with friends at the kids clubs. The bar area is great breakfast after an early morning swim. This gym offers a great range of classes which can really challenge any gym goer.

   I’ve been using pt sessions with Lucy for 5 months now and I’m absolutely over the moon with the results, as I suffered from headaches and lower back pain. Lucy is a very intelligent young lady and knows her profession very well. Not only is Lucy good at what she does Lucy is a very outgoing young lady and very friendly, couldn’t help me enough in terms of nutrition and tips on how to eat healthier with quick and easy ready meals with get advice. Also on the gym floor Lucy will not hesitate to help me if I’m using equipment wrong one of very few people to correct me in the gym floor. Also Lucy is very good at teaching in strength and power, I will not hesitate to use her again and Highly recommend this girl 5 stars and more for me

   It's a great fitness club. Gym/weights is my main interest and it's really good - plenty of modern kit and lots of space. The cafe is good too, handy place to work and decent coffee. Sadly I can't really justify the high membership fees as I only have time to go twice a week currently.
