Public pools & Water park in Belfast

“The team at AquAid Belfast was great for us. They are definitely a bit more expensive than the competitors, but the service they provide more than makes up for that. We needed mains fed machines (the plumbed in ones) and a boiler as we had three kettles in the kitchen. Our business is quite secure, visits can only be by prior arrangement and approval with ID. But Daniel and the office team were great. He organised an engineer site visit for an exact date and time, and after that three days later we had four machines plumbed in to our factory floor and a boiler in our kitchen. Now at lunch and tea breaks, no queues. I like being able to lift the phone and talk to a local company, and to the manager himself, to get stuff done. No go between. Recommended to many and will keep doing so!!!”

“Went in to use the pool earlier this week and the facilities are nice, a little outdated but the vibe and personality of the place makes up for it! Also the staff couldn’t be more welcoming with Andy at reception, he was lovely, a bright welcoming face as you walk in!”

“Fabulous! The audio tour helps so much. Be prepared to spend hours here! The staff so very helpful. The place is very clean. The gift shop is amazing. Don't forget to go over the road to the Nomadic ship in the dry dock. It's wonderful and the gentleman we spoke to, so very knowledgeable. Thank you for an amazing day out Belfast!”

“Nice zoo with a beautiful location and sea / mountain view. The tickets are good price too - (almost half price as London’s) the variety of animals were not as many but it’s more than enough to make a child’s happy day. Plus there is a nice playground inside the zoo.”

“We had such a great time here! From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming (and yes, the warm cookie on arrival was a lovely touch!). We made full use of the pool and sauna – both were really clean and well maintained, and it was such a nice way to unwind. Later in the evening, we had a few drinks outside the bar and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The service was excellent and there was a good selection to choose from. There’s honestly loads to do at and around the hotel – whether you want to explore the grounds and play golf, relax, or stay active. The location feels peaceful and tucked away, but still close enough to Belfast if you want to head into the city. We left feeling totally refreshed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!”

“Julia is truly the best swimming teacher. I honestly thought I would never be able to swim, and then I met Julia. She is incredibly patient, professional, and reassuring. I had never swam in my life, and now look at me, I’ve conquered my fear of water. Even though I gave her very short notice because I needed to learn before my holiday, she still helped me reach my goal. I was able to swim confidently with my family for my birthday, which meant so much to me. Even though our lessons were for a short period, I learned so much. I’m genuinely grateful for her support and guidance. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.”

“I had the incredible opportunity to learn scuba diving with Aoife Lynch as my instructor during the Ocean Diver course, and I must say she was absolutely exceptional in every way. From the moment we started, Aoife's passion for diving was evident, and it made the entire learning experience even more enjoyable. One of the standout aspects of Aoife's teaching style was her ability to make the entire process fun and engaging. Despite the technical nature of scuba diving, she managed to keep the atmosphere light-hearted and exciting, making each lesson something to look forward to. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and it kept me motivated throughout the course. Safety was Aoife's top priority, and it was evident in every aspect of her instruction. From the thorough briefing sessions to the meticulous equipment checks, I always felt confident that I was in safe hands. Overall, I cannot recommend Aoife Lynch enough as a scuba diving instructor. Her exceptional skills, dedication to safety, and ability to make learning a blast made my Ocean Diver course an unforgettable experience.
