The hotel took £50 deposit for a one night stay and said it would be repaid when we checked out.5 days later it hasn't been put back into my account. Not good customer service. Hotel fine, room hardly luxury. Bar staff very friendly.

Excellent rooms, swimming pool and the best steam room and sauna in the country. Food excellent. Great for a short break to chill out. Quiet area but if only for golf or a quiet break its superb.

Very pleasant hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Reception staff ready to help with a smile. The staff in the restaurant are wonderful. Very helpful and simile which makes all the difference. Rebecca was out waitress this time and she was outstanding.

We had such a great time here! From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming (and yes, the warm cookie on arrival was a lovely touch!). We made full use of the pool and sauna – both were really clean and well maintained, and it was such a nice way to unwind. Later in the evening, we had a few drinks outside the bar and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The service was excellent and there was a good selection to choose from. There’s honestly loads to do at and around the hotel – whether you want to explore the grounds and play golf, relax, or stay active. The location feels peaceful and tucked away, but still close enough to Belfast if you want to head into the city. We left feeling totally refreshed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

Stayed a couple of nights on business and was great value, very clean and comfy. The main hotel area had just been refurbed so was very nice. Rooms haven’t yet been upgraded but are still a pretty good standard. Good breakfast and dinner, in the dormy restaurant. They had sport on the TVs in there which was good for me. Also had free gym access to the health club next door which was all brand new with new gym kit (Jan 2023). Would definitely stay again when back in the area.

Had a fantastic time here. The hotel in general seems to be getting a makeover and looks fantastic. We stayed on the first floor which hasn't been upgraded yet. Something that I normally find irritating when I stay away is the lack of power sockets / USB charging next to the bed. I am hoping this will be upgraded with the refit. Pool was lovely and warm it was nice having the sauna and steam room there too. There is a lack of private changing if that's something that bothers you in both male and female changing rooms however they are well kitted out with individual shows and plenty of hot water! Breakfast was good / tasty! The current (temporary) room that is being used is a little small with food serving tables all around the room but the new room although not fully finished looks really nice. Will have to come back in six months! The only minor criticism was the noise of the floor cleaning machine that was being pushed around about 10pm on Friday night in the lobby bar. You're trying to relax and talk to friends and it was quite loud. Couldn't this be done during the day after check -out time when there's hardly anybody around? Overall, would definitely recommend and intend to book again in the future!

Stayed here for work so my review is based on that. Rooms are clean and have the basics that you need, although the hotel could do with some modernisation There is no room service and there is not much available around the area if you do not have a car so please do take that into account. Online food delivery is also limited. The food in the restaurant is ok, well priced overall but there is only a limited choice Service was nice, all staff had a smile and were happy to assist. I did have an event there and did request a late check out which they gave however my key card stopped working when I returned to the room so had to have reactivated and then I did get a call and knock at the door every 10 minutes past 11am asking how much longer I would be when reception had Said I could check out at 12.30 so a bit of an annoyance there. I did stay when they were doing some work in the hotel so there was a bit of noise as well as a smell from the materials being used. The convention are was ok, breakfast was fine however they did not seem to have a member of staff constantly there so we had to keep walking back to reception when we had a request. Overall the hotel does the job it set out to, I would stay there again for work
