We stayed at your hotel as part of the Festive Getaway package and paid extra for an upgraded room and a private jacuzzi, bringing the total cost to €482, plus an additional £20 for a late check-out. After checking out, we felt that for this price, the overall experience could have been much better. The highlight of our stay was the dinner — the food was very tasty and the restaurant staff were extremely friendly and professional. Unfortunately, there were many disappointing aspects. At check-in, although the reception staff were polite, no one explained the spa facilities or what was included in our package. The spa area is very small, yet the hotel and spa were clearly overbooked. After spending 1.5–2 hours in the spa, there was nowhere to relax. All jacuzzis and the pool were overcrowded, and the saunas had around ten people at a time, which made us feel uncomfortable and far from relaxed. The package included a clay ritual, but after paying extra for the private jacuzzi, we were unable to use the clay ritual, despite it being included. Overall, the package did not feel like good value, and the chocolates and cookies provided were nothing special. The room was cold, and the air conditioning could not be adjusted. The heated beach area was open to the outside the entire time, making it cold inside. People were wet, robes were soaked, and no one informed us whether fresh, clean, dry robes were available. Because of this, we did not use the spa the following morning, which also meant that the late check-out we paid extra for was not used, as we didn’t want to get wet and risk getting cold. Additionally, cocktail prices were very high, adding to the feeling that the hotel is overpriced.

Had a one night stay here on 20.12.25, courtesy of my husband for my birthday. The only real negative thing to report is the mattress was a hard as a rock, we both woke with a sore back, such a shame. I had a treatment in the spa (facial) it was amazing. We also availed of the clay ritual, it was ?ok - not worth the price tag though. The spa itself is quirky, we really enjoyed it (albeit cold going between facilities due to being outdoors and winter!). The bar was expensive yes, but we have no complaints really. The food was absolutely delicious with quick service, we had 3 course meal and breakfast. No complaints regarding the staff throughout the hotel, but I do feel they could have been a bit more friendly to be totally honest. Apart from mattress issue, our room was cozy, with a mini Christmas tree in it which I thought was a lovely touch.

Great stay! We were there for a wedding and had amazing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and the people behind the bar were great craic. I definitely recommend the spa as it is a stunning location and the views are really good. Checked out at 11 but we got a great deal where for £35 were able to use the spa after checkout for the rest of the day with a delicious lunch included.

Received voucher of £120 value. Was told that the voucher gives a starter, main and dessert. A starter, main and dessert average is £85-£90 for two. And we were being charged extra for drinks, supplement for the steak and anything extra you get (in our case a side). Even though there was still money left on the voucher. So the restaurant benefits from the extra money left on the voucher and your extra cash you’re adding. We would have had to pay about £34 extra if I had not of complained about this voucher ‘scam’. I complained about this and wanted to know why. The staff member was helpful and said we could have the full value of the voucher and quickly rectified the situation. However, having the full value of the voucher is basic and should be a given. All staff members were amazing, friendly and service was great. I cannot fault the staff at all. I really enjoyed my meal too, my partner thought their meal was average. The menus for the voucher are exactly the same as the menus not for the voucher, but the voucher menu doesn’t have prices on it (obvs so people don’t realise). This voucher ‘scam’ is absolutely appalling. The one star is a reflection on the company, not the staff members at all, or the food.

We stayed for our friend’s wedding, which was amazing. The staff were all lovely and always smiling, and the rooms were gorgeous. The food at the wedding was amazing. The rooms were lovely and well looked after. However there was a lot of hair on the bed and found on the shower head and inside the bottom of the Dyson hair dyer. The fridge in the room was a nice add, however when we checked out the prices it put us off completely. £3.50 for Pringles which you could get a big box of Pringles at the shop for £2.00. On the bright side, we went for lunch the following day and it was gorgeous. We had strawberry daiquiris for £15.00, which was a bit pricey, but they were so nice that we still bought them. However, if someone is paying to stay, they expect decent prices.

My husband booked it for a birthday treat & they gave us an upgrade which was really kind. Whole stay was amazing, all staff were really lovely. From the lady who checked us in, Gary at the spa bar, the staff in Hunters restaurant, everyone went out of their way to make our stay special. The spa is beautiful, rooms perfect with massive bed & fancy Bluetooth speaker & the Dyson hairdryer. The food was incredible, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each meal was really tasty. Loved the clay mud experience too. Only down side was having to leave - highly recommend.

The place is beautiful and the spa was amazing the only issue we had was that after spending the day in the outdoor spa we where feeling the cold. The heating control in the room seams to be just for show as the heating was controlled from the main desk. After asking for it to be turned on it was quickly turned off again. We woke at around 1am and the room was freezing. We had to go to the desk again in the middle of the night to ask for the heat in the room to be turned on again.

Food in bar was excellent. Service was good but waitress did know how spicy the Peri Peri burger was, staff should try the dishes so they know. As it happens my friend said it was perfect not too spicy. The other five of us really enjoyed our meals too. We didn't pay so I idea on prices but couldn't be worse than other places. Nice to see Templeton hotel revamped since I was last there as it had got very tired looking.

Place was so busy but we still got a seat. The foods amazing so tasty. The best bit for us was the staff they are all so friendly and really approachable too. I liked the fact they are in different clothes and not uniforms it made it relaxed. We will definitely be back.
