Jackie at reception was extremely helpful and managed to find me and my mother in law a double appointment the very next day. My MIL has health issues and resulting problems with mobility, but access to the salon, and their facilities, is great. Vikki did a lovely job on my holiday nails and the chat was super friendly. “Not long back from getting the grandson's hair cut for his annual school photo tomorrow - what can I say. Did not have an appointment but they went out of their way to accommodate him. As he has autism sitting in one place especially somewhere he didn't know can be difficult but the girl was very patient and worked as quickly and gently as she could. The end result is great - going to be one very smart young man at school tomorrow.”

“We spend the weekend at the Culloden. The beautiful energy starts when you enter, the garden is beautiful, looked after with great care, and lovely statues that make a difference. The Hotel itself it's stunning, piano during lunch, before dinner... we have dinner at the Vespers restaurant, lovely, good food, staff attentive and kind. After dinner if you book a table at the bar, is a nice vibe to enjoy a good live music. We went to the gym and I can say it's a really really nice gym, well equipped, the pool , sauna and all the staff around there are kind. I truly recommend the experience there.”

“EDIT: my wife phoned and complained and the customer service she recieved in response pulled this review from a 1 star to five, the owner Leah handled the matter exceptionally. My wife was booked in for 75 minutes, the masseuse arrived late took time to set up, and started 20 minutes later than scheduled. As if this wasn't bad enough, this time was deducted from the time paid for so she only received 55 minutes of an actual massage which she said was "half assed". This experience cost £80 and rather than feel relaxed and refreshed she left feeling ripped off, there are similar reviews here where customers just feel like cash cows, approach this business with caution if at all.”

“We had such a great time here! From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming (and yes, the warm cookie on arrival was a lovely touch!). We made full use of the pool and sauna – both were really clean and well maintained, and it was such a nice way to unwind. Later in the evening, we had a few drinks outside the bar and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The service was excellent and there was a good selection to choose from. There’s honestly loads to do at and around the hotel – whether you want to explore the grounds and play golf, relax, or stay active. The location feels peaceful and tucked away, but still close enough to Belfast if you want to head into the city. We left feeling totally refreshed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!”

“Really helpful staff. Turned up several hours early hoping to leave our bags so we could go and explore Belfast before check in, and the room was ready so they checked us straight in. Came down early for breakfast on our last day, ready for an early flight, not realising it was served later at the weekend, and they were happy to accommodate Room was clean with everything we needed. Nice bar area. Excellent location. Reasonably priced. Would definitely go back. Thanks!”

The hot stone massage (£75 for 40 minutes) was top-notch, all staff were polite, and the overall experience was something to look forward to, as long as you've got the money, I'll say go for it over and over again.”

The Lycon wax she uses is fab, the salon is so well designed and looks like an 5 star spa and she’s so welcoming. The staff is very professional and well presented. The room.we had was large and comfortable if a bit garish with the English Baroque decor. The bathroom was amazing - large, warm, and full of amenities. The breakfast in the Great Room restaurant was very nice. Dinner in Bert's Jazz Bar was great. Afternoon tea on our last day was our first proper English tea and, to our surprise, we were quite full at the end. The staff there were particularly warm and friendly and always met every need with a positive attitude. You may want to ask for a room away from Skipper Street as there is an outdoor bar that plays music well into the wee hours.”
