“Excellent place to stay we but you do need transport . The local village has a great pub and plenty of places to eat - highly recommended”
“Amazing views and location. Immaculate and clean. Breakfast amazing and wonderful host called Jim. Slept so well and felt refreshed ready for the day. Highly recommend and my go to place when visiting again.”
“Received a very warm welcome, lovely hosts. Very clean and comfortable. Great sleep. Basic breakfast but well cooked. Nothing was too much trouble.”
“Great place to stay. Excellent rooms and breakfast is amazing. Russ and Jackie are lovely hosts.”
“Fabulous! Modern! Full kitchen and the staff - so lovely! We were contacted about an hour out from our arrival time with a hello and where to park. Karen greeted us at the front door , escorted us to our apartment and then shared dining and site seeing options for our stay!!! We loved our stay and look forward to our next visit! - thank you Wilton House , you were our first stop on our two week vacation and you really set the tone and tenor for the rest of our trip! Till next time!”
“We love: 1, The entire unit is spacious, comfortable, updated and clean! 2, Washing machine, no dryer but has drying racks and lots of hangers! Our cloths are dried the next day no problem! 3, We had the Apt 5 on top floor, and we left windows open and enjoy cool breeze! 4, Comfortable like a home! 2bedrooms, dinning area, kitchen, bathroom, living room with sofa and TV. 5, Good neighborhood and beautiful surroundings. 6, Clear instructions. Great communication! Thank you for answering my call! Location might not be that central for some people. But next to Queens University. I don't mind. Just compare to many places we stayed that can walk to a bar street within 5min, this place is a bit out. But we love the neighborhood! Bathroom has very limited storage. I moved a chair there for put on cloths etc. We are highly satisfied with our stay. We wish we can stay longer. Anyone comes to Belfast, you should consider this place. We strongly recommend!”
“We phoned the day before arrival and had a great stay, very hospitable and could not do more for us, it was like a home from home, beds were excellent and you can't get a better breakfast, we hope to visit again and would love to stay there again. Thank you so much for looking after us.”
“My favourite place to stay in Belfast! Absolutely fantastic staff. So friendly and welcoming and little touches like this that you would never get from some of the big city center hotels. Always enjoy my stay in Tara Lodge.”
“Wonderful hotel. Very well fitted out, warm and comfortable. Fantastic staff and service great location and access to sights, food and transport. Definitely a “stay again” place next time I’m in Belfast.”
“I recently had a complimentary stay at this establishment to compensate for a previous stay which was less than desirable. I held off reviewing the hotel until I had given the chance at redemption and I'm glad I did. There were a multitude of problems during the initial stay but the complimentary stay has definitely won me over. The service was fantastic, friendly staff and an absolutely phenomenal suite with stunning views of the city centre and an extremely comfortable bed so we had a brilliant sleep. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to suit all tastes including a vegan section. I would absolutely return and would like to thank the staff for providing a 10/10 stay.”
“We got married on October 18, 2025. When we first viewed the venue in 2024, the viewing was host by Kirsty who was extremely professional and knowledgable. Which is part of why we wanted to put our trust in Clandeboye. Since booking the venue, every single member of the wedding team was been quick to respond to our many questions and always helpful. Whether it was Lorraine, Ian, Mai, Gia, or someone else. In particular, they were excellent in helping with guest allergies and concerns, immediately reducing our stress levels. Graham (our MC) and the team absolutely smashed it out of the park on the day. Graham made sure to introduce himself the night before the wedding and was extremely professional but approachable on the day itself. He even considered the little touches like keeping us canapés to the side to ensure we ate and checking in with us regularly (without being on top of us all day). When there were issues, he discretely dealt with them on our behalf and nothing felt like too much. Our guests lauded the serving team at dinner and the food, saying it’s one of the best wedding meals they’ve had. The team were prompt, polite and (from what we seen) the service was seamless. The clandeboye truly was our dream wedding venue and we couldn’t recommend them enough.”
“This wonderful hotel is located in the former White Star Line drawing rooms. The windows have been preserved, creating a particularly cozy atmosphere, and there are numerous paintings with photographs of the Titanic and all those involved in its construction. The hotel is clean, and in the rooms you'll find a book about the hotel with numerous photos on the desk. The showers are clean, and the staff is polite.”
“We visited recently for Afternoon Tea and had the most wonderful experience. From start to finish we were made to feel very pampered and the service from the staff was first class. Special mention should be made about Ryan. He was positively charming. Nothing was too much trouble and he seemed to know exactly when we needed refreshed tea/coffee etc without being called upon. My niece is due her first baby shortly and he was so engaging when he spotted both her and the near life size balloon teddy. Ryan you were a star! We hope your Manager realises how lucky he/she is to have such a valuable staff member who ensured we will book a return visit.”
“A host that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and informed. The meet and greet was fantastic. The apartment is stylish, clean, and well stocked. Location is ideal - lots of cafes, pubs, and restaurants within a few minutes walk. We loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back.”
“Lovely place and staff were lovely. Nothing was to much trouble.”
“Claudia and Phoebe were just the absolutely best hosts so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They made the atmosphere feel more like home than a hostel, and their local recommendations were spot on. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting”
“Enjoyed the Friday night steak deal for 2, including bottle of wine, bed and breakfast. Food was delicious and catered brilliantly for coeliac. The choices at breakfast were great and staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. There was entertainment on too which really sealed the deal for us. Definitely recommend.”
“New, clean apartment with double bed, single n sofa bed. Great shower, microwave, crockery/cutlery and fridge. Great wee spot and not too far out of city, taxi £6.Co-op store 20m away.”
“Rod, the bartender, was the best! Friendly, welcoming, interesting, kind and helpful. He and some of the regular bar patrons made my first day in Belfast so much fun. Lovely spot!”
“I stayed here while visiting Belfast. The hotel has a great location by the river, just a few steps from downtown and the old town. Everything met my expectations — from the room to the food and the customer service. A special thank you to the person who checked me in. She took the time to ask about us and, since we love hiking, she recommended a visit to the Mourne Mountains. We went — and it was absolutely amazing. Thank you!”
“Had the best Santa Sunday carvery experience. Food was amazing, staff were so attentive and a massive shout out to head chief Jay and his amazing team. Very Family friendly with a massive selection of food suitable for everyone. Such a great experience and an amazing pre Christmas dinner with the family..I'll definitely be back”
“This is a touchless hotel. Everything is done by internet, the front door is coded lock and the room keys are in lock boxes. You are given the code before you arrive. It was a very interesting stay having never completed a touch less stay. The room was immaculately clean! Towels were not luxurious but did the trick. The room itself was a full size bed which comfortably fit my wife and I. The room itself was in the smallish size, think bedroom in an older home. The city noises kept my wife awake one night, lots of traffic, sirens, people walking the ally and all. For me, it was white noise. If you’re a sensitive to noise sleeper, you may want to weigh this heavily! The location was great! We were 20 minutes walking from pretty much everywhere we wanted to be. 25 minutes from Belfast Grand Central Station. The breakfast was good! Continental with fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads, butter jams etc. You will be adequately fed for the day! By no means is this hotel luxurious? But it is clean, fun and reasonably priced. I rather enjoyed our stay! We took a tour of the northern Irish coast and the pickup was very close so it worked well. Cheers!!”
“The most comfortable bed ever, could have slept for a week!!! By far the best breakfast I have ever had at any hotel and I travel for business so stay in hotels 200 nights a year!!! Staff were fabulous too A+++++++ 1000000% recommend this hotel”
“Very friendly and helpful staff! The room was clean and had everything you'd need for your stay. Lovely breakfast in the morning and they are excellent for the value! Well worth the stay and in an excellent location in the city. Will definitely be staying here again!!”
“Beautiful and well kept apartment. Very clean. Great location for getting to the city centre and around the Queens Area. Lots of good food shops and restaurants within walking distance. They went out of their way to help us out after a long night/morning of travelling with 2 little kids. This is the second time we stayed at one of their properties and both times we were amazed at the standards.”
“Quick stop for a bit of lunch at Standing Stones on our way to Newry on Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious and it was severd up fairly quickly. The staff were first class, very friendly and helpful oh and the Guinness was top notch!! See you again soon, folks!”
“fantastic accommodation, Stephen that booked us in was so friendly and helpful which made our stay even more enjoyable. Room was immaculate with harbour views, short walk to cafes pubs etc. Definitely would recommend anyone to stay here”
“Very well positioned, specially for people without transport. Reception was very helpful and accommodated every request. Some tour groups kings of dominated the common area, but that isn't the hotels fault. Room was comfortable. Only criticism is that i would have preferred a secure wifi link rather than an open one”
“The room was perfect for my stay in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. What set it apart, was how incredibly friendly and professional the staff was. They provided me with Five Star service, which I don't expect from a Three Star hotel. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Belfast.”
“My friend and I visited Belfast for the first time. We came for a concert and hoped to get to know the city as well. Namaste Lodge lies in a quiet part of the city, nearby is a park, some nice restaurants and also a great bakery, where Paula gets bread for the guests as well. It is easy to go into town by bus or taxi, both are affordable. Namaste Lodge is also the home of 3 dogs, who are sweet and hospitable, they even allowed us to come to a walk on the beach with Paula, we had fun and Peppy later shared his due to chewing slowly desintegrating tennis bal with us, inviting us to play with him. Paula also booked a tour to the Giant causeway for us, and took us to a lovely lunch concert in The Black Box, and she shared lots of information with us about the city, which was very helpful and gave us many options. Thanks for all that, Paula! Highly recommended for a great time in Belfast.”
