“Just collected Alfie our black lab. he looks great and is very happy. Many thanks Jennifer and Jane. You are obviously dog lovers.”
“Wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. Very high standard of furnishings and fittings etc. Very comfortable super king master bed. The bedroom looks out over Strangford lough. As do the kitchen / dining area and the upstairs lounge. Massive windows so you do not miss the stunning views. Ross the manager, was super helpful, not only during our stay but also before we arrived. Jenny, the owner was very accommodating and also went out of her way to be helpful. Definitely worth booking. Especially if you want Wonderful views and local access to Strangford lough.”
“It wasn't a hotel as such, it was very peaceful and quiet the views were stunning of Strangford lough and the surrounding area,”
“I chose to stay here vs. a Premier Inn & I was so pleased I did!! Such lovely hosts, Avril & Terry. So friendly & welcoming. Granted the Inn is slightly dated but I like that, why does everything have to be so modern? It's beautifully quirky & my bed had its own postcode. So comfortable! Well needed after a long day travelling & working. The small touches of the alcohol fridge in the shared sitting room was lovely, along with the small extra touches such as a generous amount of teabags/sugar & milk in the room. Views are also beautiful. Such a lovely quiet, relaxing location. Would love to see it in the summer! The only down side was the power of the shower but that's not a major issue for me.”
“We were so lucky to come upon these cottages while traveling in Northern Ireland. These cottages are in a beautiful setting and the owners were wonderful and very accomadating.”
“Stayed here a couple of nights with my wife and our 5-year old daughter. Very charming place in a quiet setting, with nice rooms. But the host, Louise, is the one who made our short stay memorable. She's a genuinely lovely person who makes you feel very welcome. We were a wee bit late checking out, but Louise made no mention of it and didn't make us rush or anything. In fact, she chatted with us for quite a bit even once we had checked out and showed us the room in the converted attic which can accommodate 5-6 people. Absolutely our go-to accommodation the next time we're planning a holiday to any nearby area.”
“Second time staying here and will definitely be back!”
“Had the best Santa Sunday carvery experience. Food was amazing, staff were so attentive and a massive shout out to head chief Jay and his amazing team. Very Family friendly with a massive selection of food suitable for everyone. Such a great experience and an amazing pre Christmas dinner with the family..I'll definitely be back”
“Spent 4 nights here the room was lovely and staff were amazing breakfast was included in the price and it was very nice we will be back”
“Great hotel, and I love that it's kid-friendly, with many families with small kids around. Starting with the room, it's a great space. The temperature is perfect – not too hot, not too cold – and it's late October. The restaurant was fine. The food was good, and the staff was great. They had a Halloween event this weekend, and it was the highlight of the hotel. It was just amazing! The kids loved it, and we did too. There was a Halloween disco and then a pumpkin carving with a bouncing castle. Such a great time! I love this event and we will definitely come back for more.”
“Stayed here the night before my wedding on the 15th November and stayed the night of the wedding 16th November and stormont hotel went above and beyond for us. Nothing was any trouble at all! The room was absolutely beautiful. Got little congratulations cupcakes to come to also! Was such an amazing stay! wish I could give more stars! ❤️”

“I had a fantastic stay at this apartment! It was incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The space was cozy yet spacious, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The host was exceptionally kind and welcoming, always available to answer any questions and offer great recommendations. Their hospitality made the experience even better. The location was also great, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay!”
“We had a wonderful weekend stay at David & Gail's charming rural cottage. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, surrounded by beautiful countryside and offering all the tranquility we were looking for. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. David & Gail were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The welcome treats they provided were such a thoughtful touch! The hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly special. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the Belfast area. Highly recommend this lovely holiday let for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!”
“Peaceful and comfortable, helpful pleasant owners. Not a lot to see on the farm but a few cattle and cats, but that's fine. Blackout blinds much appreciated in the bedrooms, and they turn the bedrooms into cameras obscura!”
“Lovely two bedroom well appointed period style apartment. Located in a mature residential area, just a 10 min drive into Belfast city centre with lots of facilities nearby. Our host was superb. Would highly recommend.”
“Stayed here for our daughter's wedding, so homely and comfortable and of course very clean. Bonus for the Bride and Groom to be able to bring their dog that came with them from Czech Republic.”
“Not sure where everyone else who left a negative review stayed, as my partner and I had a wonderful stay! For such an affordable price we really felt like the property exceeded our expectations. The room was warm and comfortable and was beautifully decorated. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The glider bus located very close to the property, making it very convenient to access the city centre and train station. There are at least 2 supermarkets within walking distance, and loads of restaurants. I was apprehensive about the shared bathroom situation before arrival but in the end this proved to be no issue as there are 2 large bathrooms with each with bathing facilities in the property. There was also a microwave which meant we were able to heat up readymeals, and there was also a fridge, kettle, and tea and coffee supplies. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!”
