Stayed here the night before my wedding on the 15th November and stayed the night of the wedding 16th November and stormont hotel went above and beyond for us. Nothing was any trouble at all! The room was absolutely beautiful. Got little congratulations cupcakes to come to also! Was such an amazing stay! wish I could give more stars! ❤️
Hotel beautiful, old style. But, low standard!!! The room had dirty pillows, no fridge, the room was cold. You have to carry your luggage to the room yourself. The spa in the hotel speaks for itself. My friends had a massage, which was supposed to be done for 60 minutes - it only lasted 20 / 25 minutes. I had my nails done, the photo below speaks for itself. The workmanship, very low. My, grandmother does it better! In the toilets near the pool, it is dirty and not orderly, there is a lack of tolet paper and towels, nobody checks it. No, I would not recommend this spa to my friends.
Stayed overnight for a show which was great, however few points of disappointment. Arrived at 2.30 and had access to room, asked about dinner and was told it fully booked for Complete evening, had light snack in lounge thinking we could get something from bar or room service after show.... no joy. Show finished at 10.30, kitchen closed at 9.30, tried room service, only traybakes, crisps and popcorn available, could have ordered drinks... as Bar closed at 11. Rooms OK but could do with towel rails In bathroom, only a shelf which is no use for damp towels. Can say staff especially duty receptionist were great.
Under staffed, had my suit posted before arrival, confirmed receipt of it but lost it! No help available with luggage at Stormont hotel . Avoid!
My son and his 2 friends arrived into what should have been a memorial experience after lock down, instead they had to wait 45 minutes for a drinks order delivered to the room. By the Managers (Kieran McManus) own admission they have a skelton staff at night time . There was absolutely no recognition and indeed even though my son paid top price for the suite they were only interested in receiving payment...customer service entirely nonexistent for a purported 5 star hotel
