   I stayed in the Kings Lodge for 2 nights and 3 friends from our artist collective came for one night. Melvyn was the kindest and most helpful host. Well above and beyond the call of duty. The rooms were pleasant, spotless and lovely breakfast. Great relaxed ambiance all over. the best to be repeated!!

   Stayed King's Lodge for 3 nights last week because of its close proximity to Kingsbridge Hosp and it was a great choice. Melvin, the proprietor, was very helpful and friendly. He cooked us a lovely breakfast every morning and we got water for the room every day. There is also a great bus service into town and stop is right outside. Will definitely stay in Kings Lodge again. Ruth & Pat Dublin

   Very friendly and helpful staff! The room was clean and had everything you'd need for your stay. Lovely breakfast in the morning and they are excellent for the value! Well worth the stay and in an excellent location in the city. Will definitely be staying here again!!

   Decent sized bedroom with an ensuite. Shower was good. Our bedroom was at the front of the building. We slept well, no traffic noise and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice and service was quite quick. Pleasant staff. Parking is quite tight. Decent enough property however there were a few maintenance issues such as only one downlight in the bathroom working, more than half of the downlights in our bedroom not working, broken toilet roll holder and a broken light switch all in our room. If the maintenance issues were sorted I would probably give a higher rating.
