Perfectly good hotel with friendly staff and what looked like a good gym especially for free weights and bar bells etc. that is open for non hotel visitors. As a result the steam room and sauna are busy! The pool is just long enough to do some lengths but the jacuzzi section is just at pool temp so not a 'luxury' spa feel or anything so depends what you are after. We didn't eat so can't comment on that but would happily stay again!

Had a great stay at Crowne Plaza Belfast. Reception was friendly & welcoming, quick check-in, and managed to get in the room earlier than the expected check-in time which was great considering the long drive. And of course the room was absolutely fantastic, no words to describe. Only slight downside I'd say was the River Bar at the hotel. The food was tasty, however when it came to taking my order, they were quite poor, slow and unorganized, which didn't live up to my expecations at all. The waitresses were too slow on taking your order or even simply bringing you the menu. Had to ask a couple times for them to have the menu, and I was told to wait "a few seconds", which turned into waiting probably more than 5 minutes. Another time I asked for a drink, they said they will come back to take the order, never came, asked another staff at the end. So overall, the hotel service was great, but the bar/dining experience not so much.

Hotel room was nicely presented and comfortable although a double room should have 2 chairs to relax in, , the water station is a bit of a hike, car park is noisy early and a lot of rooms overlook it. Staff were professional not warm, except the restaurant staff who wete lovely, food I highly recommend, breakfast was quality. However...dont be fooled by the pictures of the pool and facilities..its the usual commercial gym attached to a hotel..ot felt dated and the staff were cold, not as cold as the pool though..no jacuzzi..just occasional bubbles in the cold pool water, steam room was not..! Again cold..sauna was good, as youd want..no nice touches. You get a hand towel, no lock for the lockers, no swimsuit spinners and we had about 7 ypung teens diving and bombing in the pool..so sadly, its yuk.

Great hotel, just slightly out of the centre so a taxi would cost a bit in and out. Food is OK in the bar, not a great choice. Rooms are lovely and tidy. There was 4 of us including 2 children and there are no single bed rooms so the 2 kids has to share a bed. The pool is handy for kids. It's a decent enough size. Breakfast is decent as well.

Just finishing a lovely stay here and wanted to write something. I was torn between staying in central Belfast or a little outside it with a pool and sauna. Glad I made the right decision. Staff are exceptional, friendly and helped me with a late check out after my flight was delayed. The breakfast is lovely- everything catered for. The gym is HUGE and very popular with locals. The pool is fine - you can do proper laps and the sauna and steam room work very well. Lots of friendly locals there too. Defo 10/10.

Lovely stay here. I've stayed in hotels all around the world and I can genuinely recommend this one. The staff are so lovely. The normal restaurant was closed on Sunday for dinner, which needs changing, as I'm not partial to bar food. It was very clean, and the TV works. The cleaning staff are exceptional, and very kind. Some of the staff at the desk are very young and need better training. The two girls who initially dealt with us were great. The pool is too shallow and very small; and no kiddy pool; only a small jacuzzi like part, but men were in there too, so not suitable for kids. I liked it on the whole, and will stay there again for sure.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is a fairly standard modern hotel with all the amenities you would expect. The rooms at the hotel are generous and decor is good. The beds are excellent with deep mattresses and high quality bed linen. During our stay there was a major function on and this meant the hotel was busy. Unfortunately, the hotel chose to increase their team with agency staff who appeared to have no training in basic customer service. During breakfast, we requested a pot of tea, only to be given a coffee pot with a tea bag jammed in the spout. Inevitably, one of our colleagues was scalded when the lid fell off. The response from the waiting staff could only be described as equivalent to a shrug of the shoulders. Even asking for a first aid kit from the manager we had a very uninterested response. The situation was saved by another member of staff from a different department who came and dressed the burn and who apologised on behalf of the hotel - good customer service goes a long way. Within minutes, we were finding hair in the breakfast food, to which the response from the catering staff was "they're only small". Appalling! So, to sum up... Crowned Plaza is a spacious, well-equipped standard modern hotel on the outskirts of Belfast. However, if you are expecting 4/5 star quality service, forget it. They really need to work on customer service and the guest experience.

Average 4 star hotel. Food was mediocre in my opinion and as an Indian food aficionado I found the Indian menu selection poor and the quality was of typical hotel curry quality and not up to genuine Indian restaurant standards. Restaurant staff were pretty slow for Dinner but much better at breakfast. Good selection of foods for breakfast. Room was comfortable with decent TV and channel selection. Location was good and convenient to major routes in and out of Belfast.
