I stayed at The Warren Belfast and found the room comfortable and the location excellent. However, the handling of a food-safety issue during breakfast was very disappointing. The gluten-free bread on the communal breakfast counter was visibly mouldy. When I reported this through the hotelβs messaging system, the message was read but ignored. The next morning the bread had simply been removed rather than replaced, leaving no safe option for guests with dietary needs. Breakfast is included in the final price, so this isnβt a minor extraβitβs part of what you pay for. The explanation provided afterwards didnβt reflect what actually happened and there was no sense of ownership or compensation offered. This raised concerns about food safety, housekeeping, and communication standards. The location and room were good, but the way this issue was handled means I canβt give a higher rating.

This is a touchless hotel. Everything is done by internet, the front door is coded lock and the room keys are in lock boxes. You are given the code before you arrive. It was a very interesting stay having never completed a touch less stay. The room was immaculately clean! Towels were not luxurious but did the trick. The room itself was a full size bed which comfortably fit my wife and I. The room itself was in the smallish size, think bedroom in an older home. The city noises kept my wife awake one night, lots of traffic, sirens, people walking the ally and all. For me, it was white noise. If youβre a sensitive to noise sleeper, you may want to weigh this heavily! The location was great! We were 20 minutes walking from pretty much everywhere we wanted to be. 25 minutes from Belfast Grand Central Station. The breakfast was good! Continental with fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads, butter jams etc. You will be adequately fed for the day! By no means is this hotel luxurious? But it is clean, fun and reasonably priced. I rather enjoyed our stay! We took a tour of the northern Irish coast and the pickup was very close so it worked well. Cheers!!

The rooms are really lovely, very clean and stylish Victorian style! I liked the self check in and self service breakfast. Every questions we had was answered promptly on email. Highly recommend and would use again! The only thing was the tap that were a bit flimsy in our bathroom but small detail compared to the rest!

Stayed here last night with my partner, great location thats the only good thing about it. Bed had a useless mattress no support in it, pillows needs threw out, gave me a bad night's sleep and a sore neck. The bathroom the worst thing about this place, so small and uncomfortable, hurt my arm with the toilet roll holder/cover (steel cover on wall over toiletpaper) ended up with a bruise, the shower is horrendous and the metal shelf needs removed there's no room to move in as it is, hit the same arm of it so 2 bruises on the same arm. If ur tall or of the curver size avoid this place at all costs. And it advertises free car parking out the front on the street when it is actually Β£8.00 so false advertising!!!!!

This was an interesting property to stay in. Check-in was easy enough. We had the Belfast room and it was spacious and clean. My concern is with the responsiveness (lack thereof) from the Warren when we had issues with someone in our parking space. Additionally there were toilet flushing issues but my husband knew how to address that (if it had been me I wouldnβt have known what to do and we were already getting no response from the parking issues). The bed was moderately comfortable. Despite us being on the road side, it was quite quiet at night. No way to control heat in the room (some heaters are not connected to the thermostat). Be aware that the breakfast was DIY - just cereals, toasts, etc. it left something to be desired at this price point.

I am 80 and although it said there was no elevator you do not know how far up you will be. I am sure there are beautiful rooms in this hotel but 11 is not one of them. It should come with a warning. It felt as if I was sleeping in my kitchen at home but not as comfortable. I could not find a single pillow in the room that was not lumpy or enormous. It is impossible to brush your teeth in the miniscule basin because of the glass shelf just above it. I would never have booked into this hotel if I had been warned about this "superior" room. I feel very cheated and upset.
