The dome arrived and again fitted in a day A little bit of work from our tilers to finish the surround and help from the solar panels we have the pool open from April to December It’s fabulous in the summer days and magical with the lights on in the winter nights. “We ordered our Hotspring Spa after an ad-hoc visit to their showroom in May 2021. Jacqui was great and very helpful, answering our many questions with a friendly smile. She even let us come back for a "wet test" after we had placed our order. Unfortunately, it took 9 months for delivery, due to many different things but Jacqui and her team kept us up to date at all times, they even tried to see if they could get another order diverted to us and offered for us to have the display spa that was in their store instead, however we wanted the spa that we had ordered. Finally, the spa was delivered on 2 February 2022! The installation was very quick and easy, thankfully we didn't have to go for the expense of a crane and the tub was positioned into place with ease by the installation team. The installation team were brilliant! You would not have know they had been in our garden, they left it so tidy. We patiently waited for the spa to get to the appropriate temperature and enjoyed our first soak. We've used it regularly since and keeping on top of the maintenance is simple. This really is a life changer, if we're stressed or aching 30 minutes in the hot tub gets rid of it all and we've not slept so well in ages. I highly recommend getting a Hotspring Spa Hot Tub from Jacqui and her team in Derby.”

“Brilliant swimming pool and best thing of all, it's free! You can spend all day here, they have cabanas to hire, but not worth it. Just grab some seats and set up an area for you and the family. The lifeguards are friendly and helpful, they even moved a baby cot from one side of the pool for us. The new ride is amazing too!”

“Mo's physio has helped me with the pains in my lower back and my knees, with treatment at the Lenton Centre and exercises to do at home. I noticed an improvement in my back quite quickly; the knees are taking longer. Mo gives a welcoming reception with supportive advice and the charges are very reasonable. I also swim at TLC and really value this local community asset.”

“A great gym with great facilities and staff. Particularly James Foulk one of the tennis coaches who has helped me with my game. He's a lovely chap who you can have a laugh with but also knows when to be serious and is a good coach. I've learnt a lot and look forward to continuing my lessons with him. - David Lloyd Aspley.”

“I use the pool at least once a week, and it is always busy. You either need to book in advance or get lucky with a quieter session. The changing facilities are unisex, with separate cubicles to change in. You can either get a locker using change or park your bag by the pool. The viewing area is good if you have kids swimming or you are waiting to swim.”

“Speaking with very helpful lady (Katie) on the phone through all of the options that were available to me she left me a guest day pass behind the counter yesterday, I popped along and met Rosie who showed me around the gym, pool and other facilities which was great! I am now a member and very happy to join. Part of me joining was down to very helpful staff and customer service which is a big part of it for me. Thank you again Rosie and Katie”

“We loved our stay, the room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and breakfast was delicous. The staff were amazing, every one, from check in to the bar and breakfast serving staff. Reception were very help with directions and all were polite, friendly and couldn't do enough. No road/train noise. Super close the Motorpoint Arena too.to Hope to stay again soon”

“Great hotel. We stopped in Nottingham only for one night. The team had done a complimentary upgrade due to Accor membership status. The suite was very cool. Lovely amenities. Would absolutely recommend and stay again. Receptionist was very welcoming.”

“My daughter joined Core Aquatics in September 2020 and I can honestly say, it's amazing and fantastic swimming school. My daughter is severely autistic, practically non verbal and has very restricted social communication skills but despite all of that Nicole and swimming teachers found unique way to teach and show the joys of swimming. From a child who was terrified to get inside a swimming pool she now enjoys her lessons, she can swim independently on her front, back (which she hated for long time), she even can dive underneath the water. Core Aquatics is one of the best things that happened in my daughters life, it's absolutely brilliant. Olga”

“I would highly recommend East Midlands Swim Academy, my daughter has been swimming with them for 3 years and has shown fantastic progress. All of the teachers are friendly and professional, and with relatively small group sizes are really able to focus on each child and adapt to their individual needs. What really stands out for me is it’s not just about how far you can swim, but more the technique that is used. The pools are very well maintained and extremely clean.”
