“We had stayed in Fairview farm last year December and everything was spectacular. Thank you very much to Debbie and her team for accommodating us. We have booked multiple cabins and all of them are very clean and beautiful. The whole team were very hospitable and caring during our stay. We hope to stay there again soon. The place is relaxing and great if you want to have a quick weekend getaway. 100/100.”
“I want to thank you for the fantastic customer service I experienced while booking my tickets. Your user-friendly website made it easy to find information and complete my purchase. I also appreciated the instant delivery of my digital ticket. A special thanks to Nabeel Ahmed Butt for his exceptional assistance; his professionalism truly enhanced my experience. Thank you for your excellent service. I will continue to use and recommend your platform.”
“Having been a regular visitor to Horsley Lodge and having hosted events there in the past, when I started planning a charity Murder Mystery fundraising event, this was the very first venue that came to mind … and I’m so pleased to say that I wasn’t wrong! From start to finish, Laura, the events manager made everything go as smoothly and professionally as possible ~ absolutely EVERYONE (over 100 guests) said it was the best night out they’d had in ages. The setting, the food, the service, the ambience - everything was perfect…. I honestly couldn’t recommend Horsley Lodge more! Thank you so much Laura and all of the team ~ you know we will be back soon x”
“For a city centre hotel, at a very reasonable rate, this place exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful (especially the guy on nightshift), the room was clean and great (and, considering the carnage outside - city centre sat night - it was so quiet... also very quiet inside) only criticism would be the extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work but it seems to be standard in all hotels nowadays. Would not hesitate to recommend/return”
“We loved this place. A friendly welcome. Lots of good cups of tea from our own teapot in bone china tasted lovely. The scone jam and cream were also special. The staff had time for us and there is the promise of an open fire in winter. We are looking forward to returning.”
“Staff are always friendly in the pub/resteraunt. Sleeping accommodation is always goid(beds are very comfortable)rooms are spacious and the soundproofing and slow enclosing doors mean you will not get woken up by anyone returning in the early hours. Food choice is very good as is the food quality and I would challenge anyone the not only beat their breakfast but beat it for value as well. Yep I win. Some people may be put off that it is away from the bustle of the city but let me assure you, the parking is fantastic here and the transport links are excellent, you are within 15 minutes you are in the city by bus. I have stayed here before and I am booked to r back here again in a couple of weeks time.”
“Lovely clean room. comfy bed, fantastic brunch. Jess was fabulous, and very friendly :)”
“An amazing place to stay. The apartment was bright and airy. Clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The receptionist David was absolutely brilliant and very helpful. We asked him directions to the castle and then after we set off he sent a text to tell us where to go to visit the oldest inn. He couldn't do enough for us. The apartment is in a very quiet area but close enough to the city centre. The hill on the way back up is a bit of a trek but is manageable. We will definitely stay again if we come back to Nottingham.”
“Friendly, professional and did a good job”
“I do tend to write reviews, both good and bad. Check out my other reviews. I try hard to be fair. I rarely use superlatives because superlatives are rarely deserved. Not in this case. This place is superb. We booked into the Garden Suite which itself was exceptional for the price. However, unexpectedly, the larger suite was available and Peter the perfect host suggested we have a look. Wow! A little more expensive than the Garden Suite but frankly Peter could have charged twice that differential and I would still have taken the larger suite. Over two floors. Ground floor has a dinning table exclusive to the suite and where breakfast is served. There was also a baby Grand Piano to add to the palatial feel. Upstairs is huge. Very tastefully decorated in an Asian style with tasteful and interesting fixtures and fittings. It really 'worked'. There was a large and comfortable lounge area, a very comfortable and large double bed with tiger tripe bed set that managed to look classy rather than tacky. The view from the bed through some 'designer' Asian theme trees framing what seemed an endless English countryside at its best view accross a gold course. An ample and spotlessly clean bathroom in the middle and another bed and lounge area, a little smaller but very much complimentary and in sympathy with the overall look and feel. Another small balcony looking onto the front garden area, some private parking exclusive to The Lodge and then accross the road to a school and beyond. I stood on that balcony for over fifteen minutes at around 9:30pm and not one car passed by. It was so quiet. We had an adequate evening meal at the pub five minutes down the road. We were able to specify specific breakfast requirements by texting Peter. The breakfast was fresh cooked and served and as good as any breakfast I have had anywhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thanks Peter! Steve.”
“We had a fantastic experience enjoying afternoon tea at Lace Market. Everything was freshly made in-house, which really stood out compared to many places that use store-bought items. The scones were a real highlight—freshly baked and served warm, just as they should be. The service was excellent too, friendly and attentive throughout. A special mention goes to Chef Cristina, who took the time to speak with us and made the experience feel even more personal. Our only feedback would be that in the future it would be wonderful if a savory afternoon tea option was also available. Overall, though, it was an exceptional experience and one we’d be very happy to recommend.”
“The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Everything was spotless, and every member of the team was friendly and welcoming. We were genuinely impressed and would highly recommend staying here.”
“My daughter and I stayed here for a family vacation. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very friendly. The beds were so soft and comfortable that both of us did not have any issues getting a good nights sleep. The breakfast was good and enjoyable with plenty of choices for what you wanted to eat and drink. Thank you for making our stay an enjoyable experience.”
“Went here for our anniversary and had such a lovely experience. The staff were so kind and even upgraded our room after finding out it was our anniversary. We really appreciated the gesture and had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend!”
“We had a lovely greeting when we arrived, the hotel staff were all so friendly and kind. The room was perfect, warm, clean. The restaurant was super comfortable and the food was perfectly cooked, especially the bacon, which was delicious. The friendly staff were especially kind to the children who were offered a little toy to keep ❤️ Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely come back here again.”
“Friendly owner greeted us on arrival. Rooms are fairly basic but clean. Small en-suite bathroom with decent shower. Just as you would want or expect at this reasonable price. Good value for money, in my opinion. Nice fry up served bang on time for breakfast!”
“The hotel is like many others amazing facilities, very comfortable bed, wonderful shower, but the thing that stood out the most was the amazing staff. Me and my partner didn’t realise how fancy this hotel was when booking and upon walking in we instantly felt out of place but Matthew at the front desk made us feel so welcome and put us at ease what a wonderful man he is. So a massive thank you to Matthew for making us feel so welcome and so at ease talking to him was like talking to an old friend I recommend you make sure this man stays in your employment.”
“We stayed in the Executive Room - with Sofa Bed. The room size is at average (not too big as an executive room), but the staff are really friendly. We notified them that it’s my birthday and they made a lovely birthday card. And a fruit collection for us. Breakfast is their selling point! It’s a great breakfast buffet - so you got bacon, hash brown, sausage, tomatos, eggs, and a lot of cool appetite. The beverage are amazing as well - organce juice, apple juice, tomato juice, tea, milk, all kind of coffee and hot chocolate. A good selection of bread - unexpectedly excellent breakfast. The car park is £20 per night. You will need to contact the hotel and pre book it. I suggest booking through their official website - we selected the ‘family experience’ deal which £93 includes 3 breakfast so it’s quite reasonable as at a Park Plaza hotel!”
“We loved our stay, the room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and breakfast was delicous. The staff were amazing, every one, from check in to the bar and breakfast serving staff. Reception were very help with directions and all were polite, friendly and couldn't do enough. No road/train noise. Super close the Motorpoint Arena too.to Hope to stay again soon”
“I like Premier Inns as you know where you’re at with them. Good value, clean and nice. The evening staff on this particular one went above and beyond on accommodating our kids. They gave us activity packs on arrival and some goody bags during dinner. Great service.”
“We love staying at premier inn and always book a premier plus room for extra space, newly refurbished rooms and those little extras (Nespresso machine, sparkling water and Green&Blacks chocolate) The room was spotless and comfy. Staff were friendly and efficient. We did not have food as already eaten but menu looked lovely and breakfasts as always are great value.”
“Enjoyed our stay over the weekend. Hot tub Kids and the dogs loved it too. Will be back Only thing is no WiFi and mobile single is bad.”

“Very central location, within walking distance to major attractions as well as the Motorpoint Arena. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, professional and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel, excellent value for money, good breakfast selection and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”
“We stayed here for 2 nights, with a Guide Dog for the Blind puppy, the room we were given was very roomy and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating of our pup and all staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Dee in the breakfast room, she was so helpful and informative of all the ooptions on the breakfast menu. The cost of the room and the additional breakfast were very reasonable. Plenty of parking and easy access to Nottingham centre.”
“10/10 experience, been twice now and will definitely come again. Nice and modern interior as been refurbished inside with a nice nod to the regions cotton industry, like the touches around the hotel with the bobbins for example. Great location and we were up graded too which was a bonus, thanks. Short Uber to the city. Staff lovely, professional and pleasant. Got vouchers for cocktails and for evening meal didn't use meal one but gratefully received. Thought parking was reasonable got a half price rate of £6, thank you. Highly recommend and will visit again. Thanks to all the team 5 star, sadly couldn't stay longer but will return.”
“Great hotel, and location near centre. Close to everything you need and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable and do family rooms which is a bonus. Can’t get better for the price.”
“Visited for a work event. This place is absolutely stunning. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food I had (with photos) Starter - Ham Hock Terrine, Main - Chicken Breast, Desert - Chocolate Orange Tart. However, some people on the table didn’t like the food, so I tried theirs too. I tried the Gnocchi and also the Biscoff Cheesecake. All food A*! Good for the event came out very quick and promptly. Tables cleared just as quick. Didn’t stay over, but I will most certainly be booking in the future too, this place is lovely.”
“Great place to stay, was upgraded rooms and they were HUGE. Clean & comfortable rooms and a quiet nights sleep. Great value for money. Really lovely breakfast with a nice selection. One of best buffet breakfasts we have had recently! Plenty of parking out the front.”
“Nice and friendly owners. Room warm comfortable bed. Nice and handy for our needs.”
