   The rooms are not bad, relatively clean and spacious. However, the service could definitely be improved. I had unfortunately forgotten a few items in the room and only realised after reaching home. Rang the reception and they said not to worry, they will keep the items aside for me. I came 2 days later to collect and was told nothing was recovered from the room and they weren't aware of any items being kept aside for me. Disappointed to have been told one thing, to them travel to the hotel and be told the complete opposite.

   I'm wondering if I stayed in a different hotel to everyone else. We were there for the weekend and I cannot share the other reviewers enthusiasm. The bathroom tiles had black mould and the bath had hair in it.When we arrived half our bedroom furniture was inexplicably missing and the room was a boiling hot with apparently no heat controls. The furniture problem was sorted quite easily, though we were initially told it couldn't be. It was a christmas weekend and there were lots of party goers who were pretty noisy. That's not really the hotel's fault but we couldn't open the window because it was pretty rowdy in the car park. The paper thin bedroom walls weren't great. Pity the poor party goer next door who spent a large part of our first night throwing up, which we got to hear vividly. All these things are liveable, except for the dirty bathroom. That's just slack maintainence and not acceptable for a four star establishment. I get the feeling we ended up in the room they only use when there's absolutely nothing left. Hugely disappointed and I could in no way recommend.

   Visited for a work event. This place is absolutely stunning. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food I had (with photos) Starter - Ham Hock Terrine, Main - Chicken Breast, Desert - Chocolate Orange Tart. However, some people on the table didn’t like the food, so I tried theirs too. I tried the Gnocchi and also the Biscoff Cheesecake. All food A*! Good for the event came out very quick and promptly. Tables cleared just as quick. Didn’t stay over, but I will most certainly be booking in the future too, this place is lovely.

   All the staff at the hotel were so friendly and amazing. They all made us feel comfortable and provided us with whatever we needed. April was amazing! She was there at breakfast and was so sweet. I couldn't find a table and she helped me to get one and even waited for me till I got my breakfast and came back to the table so it wouldn't get taken, so a shout to April and all the amazing staff. They deserve a nice treat. The rooms were immaculate it was spacious and big the one that me, my sister and mum stayed in. The swimming and spa is lovely which was said by mum ans they provide all the amenities that you need. Thank you

   Great hotel. Second stay. Better than first. Swimming pool and spa on site, which is so relaxing. The staff are very friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was quite good. The food was hot and the coffee was really good. Drinks are reasonably priced too.

   When we first arrived only one of our rooms was ready, the second room became ready an hour later which was really poor service. Sumit the receptionist was not clear and did not provide any information, as it was our first time staying for the spa etc we had to find our way round ourselves. The highlight of the stay was the spa package..... Me and my sister booked a spa package deal, we both went to Chloe who was absolutely amazing and thorough with both treatments. Highly recommend :)

   It is a stylish hotel but is a bit weird. Stayed on business and some of the clientele were not holiday makers or business which did make you feel a little uncomfortable at times and definitely ensured you locked your doors. The staff are on the whole incredibly helpful especially the breakfast and lunch lady. Some areas could do with updating, single beds pushed together aren't really great.

   Hotel more 3 star than 4. Room not cleaned on 1 day. Radiator didn't work so no heat. The cooling unit could be set to a higher temperature but made a lot of noise so no good at night. Had a laptop size safe which was good. Room quite dark in places. Couldn't initially get TV to work - took a couple of hours to get that fixed. System had not been reset since March so guide times were 1 hour out. Breakfast choice was good. Dinner was more hit and miss. Seemed to be generally a shortage of staff. Location a long way out of Nottingham and no local bus.

   I stay here for work, it is ideal and by far the nicest in the area. The gym facilities help to unwind after a long day and a nice way to start with a few lengths too. It serves a good breakfast (can't comment on the evening food as my guilty pleasure is the smokehouse down the road). The staff are always helpful and it's very welcoming. I've stayed in a variety of rooms including suites and some of them are in a little need of TLC but in the whole they are clean and of very nice proportions.
