Stayed here and the room was drab and dreary . Bath was all chipped and tiny . Receptionist was none existent. Vent on outside wall kept falling off making room cold . Came away from feeling low and depressed . Needs a serious revamp and soon .
Decent budget hotel , small room but cheap price , only issue was no control over temp in room , it was way to warm. Staff were lovely, polite and friendly
The location was very convenient, with KFC, Greggs, and several other local spots just a few steps from the hotel, plus a gas station only a minute away. We booked one family room with kids and one double room, and we wanted them on the same floor. The reception staff were very understanding and arranged rooms for us on the same floor since we were traveling as a family. Overall, the experience was good. The only thing that could be improved is the bathtub condition in the bathrooms.
I had a fantastic stay at Travelodge! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. A huge thanks to Aelita at reception - she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made my stay extra special.
Big room, not the cleanest but not terrible. Bed was comfortable. It's loud due to being next to a motorway but I didn't mind that. There was a fan available which was appreciated as the room was hot. There was no hairdryer I could find. Breakfast wasn't great. Wasn't aware it was a breakfast takeaway box which consisted of carbs and sugar. Paid and ordered for 2 nights. They ran out so didn't get one on the second day.
Great location if you're traveling on M1. Service is amazing. Very warm welcome at reception. Even tho it's next to the motorway the hotel is really quiet.
Nice clean, value for money place to stay. With the Travelodge being part of a service station it's only a few minutes walk away for breakfast.
Only good thing was the power of the shower but why no plug sockets near bed
It's a motorway services. So prices a bit higher. But hotel great. Staff fantastic. Water hot, pressure really good
We didnt stay but our car had broken down so we asked to park in disabled, we are both elderly. I'm posting this to commend the wonderful receptionist who went out of her way to make sure we were safe and comfortable while our problems were sorted out all of which she didnt have to. She made a nightmare tolerable. I wont name her but I hope her hip has improved. I would certainly stay here should the need arise.
