The staff wasn't nice, and out or reach, the cottage smelled awful. The room was very very small, barely had enough space to open my luggage. The room was cold and they told us that the heater only works after 5:30 pm - they gave us a small (very small) electric heater that we can use meanwhile. The breakfast was rather unhealthy. Location is in the middle of a field, in front of some ugly industrial scenery. We asked if we can stay 1 night instead of two(as we initially planned) and we were told that they cannot offer any refunds, so we left.

Firstly, the staff was unfriendly and unwellcoming, not trying to help, not easy to reach. The entrance was through "gym", that was odd and not really confortabile for doing sport. The smell was toxic, the rooms were so small that we couldn't unpack , nor enter the bathroom without having to move lagguage. You just couldn't bent to get something, without hitting something. The view was industrial. The toiletries were just small and for 1 person ( we were two). The breakfast was diy, had no fresh food, only the eggs and milk, hard to find something to eat if you had food restrictions as I did. They didn't have any cooking machine. The kintchen was dirty în the morning. We needed to leave earlier and we had no room for negotiation, the staff was unkind, It was very noisy you could hear all kinds of things, the walls are thin. It was very cold, they only heated at night, for the day they left a little radiator, that couldn't do enough. The lights în the bathroom were automatic so, sometimes you got left therenin the dark. Disappointing.

I stayed here last week with my boyfriend. He made a review already and it seems the hosts are rather defensive about the reviews instead of actually listening to customer feedback. So once again I will explain our experience with Chatterley House. The building and our room was very cold, the radiator didn’t work, and clearly they know about this issue as the solution was a portable heater which was thick of dust and therefore stank. Maybe get a new cleaner as our bed sheet had a stain mark on it. The walls were covered in dripping marks, I’ve never seen so many stains on walls. There was mould in the bathroom and the lights in there were on a sensor so be careful when in the shower you don’t trip and fall from not being able to see. Going back to the walls they were paper thin and you could hear everyone’s conversations in their own rooms, and could hear people snoring and flicking switches on and off. We ended up leaving after one night and booking a travel lodge which was far more cleaner, warmer and overall a better experience.

Lovely house, clean rooms, bed not too comfy, pillows lumpy. Very helpful owners although didn't see them much only once twice in our stay which doesn't bother us. Breakfast selection ok but not really for vegans.

We were greeted and shown around by a lovely lady. She showed us the room and breakfast room. The bedroom was airy, clean and a very pretty. The ensuite was well equipped. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

What a lovely place, with a warm and professional welcome You feel very safe and the rooms are spotless. The breakfast selection is superb and I can't fault I would give these guy's a ten out of ten, as five stars doesn't worthy enough. Well done, and we return again when away from Spain.

Loved our stay. Stayed here for 4 nights with my family including our 2 yr old. We felt extremely welcomed and very at home. Ran by a lovely family who go above and beyond to cater to your needs. The rooms are cozy, but very well kept. Fantastic showers and beds, great gym, lovely country setting and free continental breakfast - great value for the price. Would recommend to anyone.

This kind of hotel isn't for some people but it will be for most... Very hands-off service but nonetheless excellent and polite service. There are only four rooms, to me this added to the charm of the hotel. Nice clean rooms and an excellent shower... But the real selling point is the free gym. Real equipment and a ping pong table... Truly excellent. They also provided free sweets and board games to help entertain kids. Breakfast was provided but was a DIY continental so no bacon etc but it means you could help yourself at 5am or 11 whatever suits your needs... 10/10 would stay again!
