Brilliant hotel, fantastic value for money. I’ve stayed in loads of Premier Inns and found this the best so far. The staff were all super friendly and we even had little Christmas gifts in our room for the kids. Breakfast was freshly cooked as opposed to Buffett style which was a bonus. Super clean rooms too. Highly recommend.

The hotel is rather old and dated, however a good stopover for a night. The reception is not well signposted leading to guest attempting to enter through wrong door and having to buzz the intercom just to be deducted to another entry. Room is spacious but dated. The heater is super annoying; if it is set to 18C it runs fine without noise but when turned up to 20C it made high pitch noise all night.

I like Premier Inns as you know where you’re at with them. Good value, clean and nice. The evening staff on this particular one went above and beyond on accommodating our kids. They gave us activity packs on arrival and some goody bags during dinner. Great service.

Do not go In freshers week! The bar behind was unbelievably noisy! Staff were so lovely but honestly until 10 pm it was like being in a warehouse rave! Nice and local to station and short walk to town. Feel a bit mean as it’s. It their fault, but defo worth asking if any events on!

Fairly good location for the city, ice rink, train station and even the footy grounds. Didn't seem too busy and car parking spaces were available - though independent of Premier Inn, and fairly priced for a central location. Room clean and not tired. No air conditioning if that's important to you. Breakfast and evening meal the usual, efficient and ample, served in good time. The restaurant is situated in the 'basement' adjacent to the canal basin which adds character.

As we had a room at the back it was away from the road, so can not say what the rooms are like there. However the room we got was brilliant, no noise and actually a very comfortable bed. For the quick stay over we wanted, it was above and beyond. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast worthwhile. I would recommend.

Absolutely amazing hotel with the most brilliant service and care shown by the team (Helen, Lorraine and Gary). It was my first stay at a Premier Inn and I would definitely stay here again. Lovely rooms. Quiet and very clean, food delicious and I even had a bath! Perfect. Spotless hotel with amazing service. I would highly recommend! :-) xxx

The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were large, clean and comfy beds! Breakfast was nice and nice view of the water from the restaurant section of the hotel. Parking was £16 for 24 hrs and the car park is small I struggled to get a space and this was on a weekday. If you move your car then the payment charge starts again. Which I had no idea about until I got there, so if you are staying please put money aside for this or prepare to walk or use public transport. Location is good though, near to train station. Would return.

I’ve stopped in a lot of hotels this year and I’ve got to say this is the best Premier inn hotel ever, the best nights sleep ever in any hotel, it had triple glazing and the hotel is so quiet even from connecting rooms. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was also the best ever in a premier inn, you have to book a time for your breakfast rather than just turning up and it’s cooked for you rather than a help yourself but you get to choose what you want when you order it. Cooked to perfection every time. Also ate evening meal there which was also amazing. The restaurant has an awesome view over the canal and at night you get lovely reflections, see my photos. The room was very large. The car park is next to the hotel and costs £14 a day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nottingham, obviously it’s perfectly located for the Arena.

Stayed here after a night at the Arena. Spacious rooms, big comfy bed and all very clean. The breakfast was great too... Continental or full English all as much as you like, plus unlimited coffee refills. Would definitely come back
