“Myself and my husband had booked the clairemont hotel for one night we was not quiet sure on what to expect but we was shocked its a cosy room clean and staff very polite . They could put a little small fridge in the room for cold drinks but i would highly recommend .price is good too.”
“My boyfriend and I moved into Stanley House in September and the process was super easy. Since then, we have both been extremely happy living here (as our first place together). Any issues or queries are always dealt with efficiently and they respond very quickly to any messages. The location is perfect, so close to Nottingham Trent and the centre, couldn’t be better. The staff here have been so friendly and we both feel very welcome here. So much so that we have already booked to stay here next year. Thank you for making our living experience so enjoyable!”
“I was sceptical about alot after reading other reviews. I have to say the bad reviews were wrong on this occasion. We stayed for my brother's wedding for two nights. Two adults and two kids. Room was big enough, had a big bed, single bed and a put me up. Lovley bathroom. Heating worked wonderfully, cold or hot. Breakfast was great. Sausages and bacon were definitely not cheap crap. Fresh eggs were continually bought out. The staff were so friendly. We had some trouble with our shower but a lady promptly came over and sorted it for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The bride was in a small room to get ready, we asked if we could use the bridal sweet for her to get dressed and have better photos and reception kindly agreed. Overall we had a great experience here and one definitely recommend”
“After countless B&B's across the country over 40 years, this has got to be the best. The location, the room, the decoration and cleanliness, and above all the breakfast and our host Kevin, nothing was too much trouble (including looking after our plant purchases from Blue Diamond Garden Centre during our stay here). What more can we say, and we are hoping to return ASAP to continue exploring this lovely part of the country, including the Great Central Railway.”
“Super cosy accommodation, management company was fab, with great communication. The cleaning standard was also 5 stars. The coach House is only 5 mins by car into Nottingham City Centre. Would definitely stay here again :)”
“Our stay was fantastic. Doreen is a perfect host. We stayed for 2 nights in the "garden Room" which was clean and nicely decorated. It was quite cold at night but Doreen provided an extra duvet for the second night. Overall very impressed!”
“Great stay, lovely, well planned accommodation with a great finish. Would highly recommend.”
“Visited in Sept 2019 (review updated 2020) My partner and I had a wonderful time in Meadow Vale's (biggest) yurt. A relaxing and restorative stay. The yurt is on the luxurious end of a glamping break and has well equipped facilities nearby. This includes a kitchen, bathrooms (x2 shared), and cabin with games, books & visitor info. The owners are friendly and happy to help. There are little touches like extra logs for the wood burner and heating, tea and coffee, other refreshments. Places to sit and relax too. Everything here is clean, high quality and well thought through to accommodate guests' requirements.”
“Simply incredible. Everything is top notch. No expense spared. We will be back.”
“We had our football social gathering here - great place, and grounds. The team took a short stroll to the Sky Walk (located near the National Water Sports Centre) for a team building activity, including mini golf and back onsite for a BBQ. It was a great day and the facilities are fantastic, we were truly well looked after. Thank you.”
“Lovely cottage, all we could need. Hot tub a great extra. Friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommended.”
“We stayed here for a quick over night stop while looking at a new car, the garage booked the room for us, and there is nothing bad about this stunning, funky Stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, the room was small but lovely decorated, clean and tidy, lovely bed and pillows. Nice little sun area, lawn etc, nice full breakfast, couldn’t ask for more. It’s a little close to the main road, so if you a light sleeper, may keep you up. It’s not a busy road though, but can be heard, wasn’t a problem for us. Overall 5 stars Good safe parking”
“Cute, quaint spot that is convenient to Belvoir Castle and the neighboring towns as well as Grantham. The host was very nice.”
“Lovely clean, modern apartment with everything you need for a short stay. Quiet location. Really enjoyed our stay.”
“Fabulous guest house run by Nicki who greeted us with the best cake and tea I've eaten in a long time. Comfortable bed and great shower in wonderfully eclectic rooms. The breakfast was amazing; what a spread! Dog friendly. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.”
“Really convenient for an event we were attending, lovely warm welcome, very comfortable and delicious breakfast”
“Nice, clean, tidy, most comfortable bed I've slept in all week, easy to access the building, maybe a bigger towel for shower like a bath sheet but apart from that very good”
“Clean, quiet, good facilities, and close to town centre”
“The accommodation at the price is surely market leading. Everything in the apartment, was of the highest order and quality and comfort. At nightly rates that are less than the local central hotels, makes my next stay in Nottingham with The Stay Company an obvious choice.”
“Had a lovely stay! It’s a short walk from the city center and the shops there which is pretty convenient, very close to the airport as well. The apartment was everything I needed and the kitchen proved to be very useful! Everything is renovated and well organized, would recommend to everyone staying in Castle Donington!”
“My brother hired this for a week for an extended family gathering. I adored the place, unspoilt, it felt so homely. Loads of space and exciting just to explore the building. The pictures on the wall are great too. Huge dining table for 20 and absolutely loved my bedroom with chaise longue, an extra room with a writing table. I shall dream about this place for many a day and night. And as well, just down the road is The Jug and Glass which serves a perfect pint of Marston's Pedigree.”
“I highly recommend Heavenlys Animal Hotel in Jacksdale. I recently boarded my dog, Blu, there for a week while I was on holiday, and he had a wonderful time. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring, and they really went above and beyond to make sure that Blu was comfortable and happy. His suite was spacious and clean, and he had plenty of room to play and run around. He also had his own private outdoor patio, which he loved. The staff looked after Blu and played with him every day. I was so grateful to know that Blu was in good hands while I was away. I could tell that he was having a great time, and I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday without having to worry about him. I would definitely recommend Heavenlys Animal Hotel to anyone looking for a safe and loving place to board their pet.”
“Stayed one night, in Grantham for a funeral. Staff were excellent, had a meal in the evening which was very nice. Lovely spacious room with loads of storage, ironing board and iron, good hairdryer.big bath towels. I left something behind and Mel the receptionist rang me and it was soon sorted. If we are ever up in Grantham again no hesitation in staying at the the Angel and Royal.”
“Stayed here for the first time whilst visiting family for Christmas a lovely hotel staff are great and food was excellent would highly recommend”
“Really impressed with this Radisson. The hotel feels clean, modern, and well-kept. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. What truly stood out was the service — the staff were so helpful and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Christos, who made our mealtime extra special and went above and beyond to look after our children. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he really made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be using this hotel again when flying from East Midlands. Highly recommended.”
“Cant go wrong always enough staff on, nice and clean, nice traditional local and not clicky. The cobs are lovely too”
“Was recommended this pub by a friend and love it. 4 flat ciders on today.”
“Lovely friendly greeting on arrival. Room very tastefully done. Good size comfy bed. I prefer the thiner quilt which was on as normally too hot in bed. Slept very well. I think they have banished the sensor light as we never encountered it. Slept like a log. Fridge in room with water, large orange juice and fresh milk . We had drinks in the very cosy bar that evening. Will be fabulous at Christmas time in sure. Bar staff amazing, very chatty and helpful and great choice drinks. We ate in the bar as restaurant was empty. It was a Tuesday night so not usually a busy time. We both thoroughly enjoyed our plates and i complemented the chef as been a while since ive had such good food anywhere. We scoffed the lot. Breakfast is continental and you do collect it the night before but we preferred this as could chill in bed all morning and eat at our leisure. We had 6 different types of danish pastries, croissants and choice of jam . Cereals, yogurt and bananas. Missed toast but i can live with that. Tea n coffee in room. Bed n breakfast for 1 night was a bargain at under £100 and thoroughly worth it. Will be coming again soon . Caroline and Matt Xx”
“Very nice relaxing stay, rooms high standard and clean and quiet. My only complaint is that it was incredibly hot in the room and the windows only opened a fraction. It's also a great location being only a few minutes walk from city centre bars and restaurants.”
“We are struggling to put into words how perfect Cockliffe is as a wedding venue. The staff, the grounds, the rooms, the food, the location - everything about Cockliffe is second to none. A massive shout out to Emilie who was our wedding coordinator, nothing ever seemed too much trouble, her personal support was greatly appreciated and we were sad to see her leave at the end of her shift on our big day! From our initial booking, to the online portal, the tasting evening to our big day - everything was faultless and easy to navigate. All the staff are so lovely and always smiling, the help with our decorations and the way they set them out was brilliant. The exclusivity of the venue was executed seamlessly, they have the operation down to a fine art, you truly wouldn't know that there are weddings the day before or after your own. A big factor for us was having a dog friendly venue and Cockliffe definitely is, they are so welcoming and even have a dog friendly room so our boy could be there for the whole day. We booked the rooms out for our guests to stay and they all commented on how spotless and wonderful they were. Our day was honestly perfect and we have to give a lot of the credit to Cockliffe and all the staff, we would recommend the venue to anyone and everyone. Thank you again, Mr & Mrs Goodwin”
