Simply the best. Better than all the rest... and we should know having stayed at most of the available accommodation in and around Lowdham. Overlooking the peaceful rural countryside so no traffic noise to disturb your sleep in a very comfy bed. Kevin and Ann-Marie are perfect hosts, rooms and house spotless, and breakfast done to order. But keep this a secret!

Lucky to stay four nights here! Hosts are absolutely fantastic, very welcoming. Our room was beautiful and slept so well. Breakfast , delicious. Looking forward to returning in the future.

After countless B&B's across the country over 40 years, this has got to be the best. The location, the room, the decoration and cleanliness, and above all the breakfast and our host Kevin, nothing was too much trouble (including looking after our plant purchases from Blue Diamond Garden Centre during our stay here). What more can we say, and we are hoping to return ASAP to continue exploring this lovely part of the country, including the Great Central Railway.

What an absolute gem of a place. I'm so glad I found this place to stay for 3 nights whilst on a long job in Nottingham. The owners are so friendly, lovely and attentive. The rooms are lovely, the Internet reliable and the shower spot on. The only niggle and it's a tiny niggle is the tv is old and not smart, which I can imagine is not important to some and is to others. Now the breakfast, oh lordy, the best all round breakfast I've had in a long time on my travels. Kevin, the husband, is in charge of breakfast and he has certainly got a good hearty fry up nailed down to an art. It really sets you up for a good start to the day. I highly recommend staying here if you need lodgings in the area!

One night stay with our dog. Hosts were very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, setting us up for the day. Very comfortable beds near a track perfect for morning walks.

This is a true gem of a B&B. Firstly, the hosts are lovely, very friendly and can't do enough to help. From carrying bags in/out to asking what we would like for breakfast and even how well done we would like our eggs and bacon. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options for us to choose from. Very dog friendly hosts and we were all made very welcome. Room had everything we needed, was a good size and very clean. Plus a comfortable bed! Green out the front of the property, on a dead end road so super quiet and ideal for taking the dog for her toilet breaks. We also had an early morning walk out to the woods which is a short walk away (recommended by the hosts) and it was lovely.

Wow what a find. We were greeted so warmly and made to feel at home immediately. Room was beautiful spacious, great bed linen, lovely furniture tea and coffee facilities, TV, wifi code etc. Lovely en suite with brilliant shower. Best and most generous breakfast I have ever had! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Absolute perfection.

We had a fabulous stay! From the moment Kevin greeted us at the door i knew this was going to be a lovely place to stay. The drive up to the B&B was stunning with rolling hills as far as the eyes could see. Kevin and Annmarie were experienced hosts who were friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond with their knowledge of the area and general conversations. Our rooms were spacious, clean and airy with gorgeous views. Little added details gave the place a more personable feel. Breakfast was amazing, so much on offer and very filling. We would most certainly recommend this beautiful treasured B&B.
