“At last a business that values customer service! A great experience purchasing a tub from all the team involved especially Andy, Laura and John. It’s fair to say we needed a lot of honest advice about selecting and owning a tub, and we got just that. The installation was painless and the after service care is just as good as we still bombard the team with questions about caring for the tub etc. Can’t fault them, really glad we chose My Spa UK. “Just wanted to commend Annie Jones a personal trainer at David Lloyd Meridian! She is amazing! I’ve had a number of personal trainers over the years and I can honestly say that she is features as one of the best I’ve had! From my initial discussions with Annie over the phone when deciding on who to go with, to meeting her and having my sessions, the level of service I have had has been outstanding! Annie motivates, supports, encourages and understands your goals and what you want to achieve and really puts in her all. Annie continually checks in to make sure we are both on the right page and working towards the same goal! Her friendly nature makes training all so very comfortable too! Thanks so much Annie!!! “Good place. Clean toilets. Cool water which is perfect for hot days. Serve coffee, milkshakes and good. Planty of picnic tables. Free parking. Not allowed to take pictures there.”

“This hotel is really top! I´ve been here several times on business trips and has never been disapointed about the rooms, cleaness or the service. One thing though, I would like to see the breakfast a bit improved. In particular the bread, cold sauges and the orange juce. But the rest is nice! Will come again”

“Great staff. Pool is (only) 20m but a good temperature for lane swimming without being so cold that leisure swimmers get too cold. Steam, jacuzzi, sauna and chillaxing lounges are nice additions. Lockers require a £1 or token of same size that is returned. You can get membership which includes towels if you wish. See other reviewers for the gym and classes.”

“Good location to keep your active all in 1 place has a big hall for sports like Badminton pickle ball basketball ball they also has good selection of group excercise which keeps me motivated and ofcourse swim which this location is known for great for family swim and lane swim.”

“Myself and 8 friends enjoyed the Walkabout bottomless brunch. Eva was brilliant and brought us all our drinks and food on time. I. highly recommend this bottomless brunch if you like delicious food with plenty of great, quality drinks as often as you like. Thank you Walkabout team and Eva!!”

“We were asked by our Daughter in Law to take our Grandaughter swimming. The building was easy to find with clear parking. The welcome was warm and clear instructions given. We were able to watch her swimming class from the balconey comfortably seated. There appeared to be many events held in is busy establishment. A good facility for all to use.”

“Great place to feed the ducks. Always a large amount of wild fowl. Never that busy. Behind the car park is a great place to walk the dog”

“I didn't stay as a guest, we attended a convention there. And the place was absolutely stunning, so many pretty details. The rooms were really spacious, and laid out so disability access was nice. There were lifts as we as stairs, and it was a wonderful day. There were plenty of places to sit and rest as needed.”

“Sunday, men only swimming is brilliant and enjoying with my boys every weekend. Clean and ample shower and changing rooms. Several allocated on street free parking right outside the center and usually get full but worth waiting get a free spot (10 -15 minutes). No shops right outside but plenty are there 5 minutes walk away. Halal and Vegitarian options. Kids outdoor play area and outdoor gym, public park and library is located right opposite side of the center.”

“Joined 3 weeks ago . Chilled out not overcrowded. People and staff are very friend my. Can take kids to the pool as well. Free towels and soap and moisturiser. Gyms like this are hard to find as there all chains oversubscribed. Great steam room as added bonus”

“We use the swimming pool, both our children are attending swimming classes. There teachers are fantastic, they know each child personally. The front desk staff are also very helpful, it feels very personal.”

“I required some very specific pool lighting, supplied within a very, very tight timeframe. Merlin were the only company I spoke to who were willing to take on the challenging request. The lights were sourced & delivered directly to me within just a few days, enabling the project to be completed on time. I was kept updated on progress and they made what seemed an impossible task, seem extremely simple. Superb customer service and a pleasure to deal with! Look no further - Give these guys a call!”

“My children have been coming here for years for their swimming lessons, can't fault the swim teachers and how much my children have progressed. Not fond of the female changing rooms, lack of showers and sometimes the changing rooms smell of urine.”

“We are here most Friday's with my 3-year old niece it's lovely the staff here are helpful and friendly and the prices are still reasonable. Recommend Tuesdays Wednesdays if you prefer quieter times. We come here around 11 a.m. on Fridays and it can get busy. Think they need some sort of vending machine or coffee machine to save me going into the shopping centre...”

“Not long started swimming here, I’m not one for swimming but needed it as part of my recovery, started the woman’s only sessions, which was not a great experience and was to quit, but then got talking to Kerry who works there, she was very understanding, listened and convinced me to continue swimming the sessions as things get easier etc and I’m glad I did approach her as she is the main reason I’m still swimming here, I see the staff to get a lot of hassle from the woman in pool complaining about any little thing, they get very rude, but the staff always keep there cool, we should appreciate the staff more.”

“Hotel room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities available such as in room iron and full-size ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi in room and public areas. Food was of a very good standard with the included breakfast as I had dinner elsewhere. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only issue is the location is a long way from the city centre meaning taxi service is expensive to use and buses are at least 15 min walk which with luggage could be an issue.”

“Excellent location and decent service for the price. Abdullah and Jon were very helpful in resolving our WiFi issues and gave us free WiFi for the duration of our stay. That was very nice of them. No nonsense, no frill hotel, but worth the money”
