She amended our quote a couple of times, taking things off and adding others in, without issue. On the day Abi delivered mine and the bridal party’s bouquets and decorated the venue beautifully - she liaised with my other suppliers to make everything work smoothly without any issues, making mine and my husbands day much less stressful. “Excellent service and fantastic bouquet of flowers. I turned up at the Flower Box out of the blue to try and get some flowers sent to my good lady and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Although transactions are normally done over the phone or online, Flower Box allowed me to place my order in person. The order was fulfilled and delivered the next day and was an excellent surprise. “I've been a customer of The Flower Plant for many years, and have attended various workshops during that time. When they announced that they were going to start a Flower School I knew I wanted to be on the first course! The 6-week Fundamentals of Floristry course exceeded all my expectations. Kat and Meg were so generous with their time and advice, and provided wonderful support to each of us as were worked through a comprehensive floristry programme. We were introduced to the principles of design, sourcing and conditioning flowers, and sustainability within the industry. Each week we had a mix of demonstrations and practical sessions including how to wire, tape, and pimp flowers before creating hand-tied bouquets, table decorations, vases, garlands, and wedding flowers. To top off all of that, the last couple of weeks involved working together on installations at both the shop and a wedding venue - real showstoppers! I can't begin to commute how much I learnt, and how my confidence has grown as a result of the course - all helped by working with the very best products! The Flower Plant is a special place and I feel very fortunate to have had Kat and Meg motivating and cheering me along on my floristry journey. “Fantastic is the word I would use to describe your fresh flowers my wife received for her baby sitting exploits, it's great to see cut flowers of such quality and diversity arranged in a container with a span across the top the size of a dustbin lid, it's very sad these days at the demise of florist once the mainstay of our high streets but im glad to see you are still flying the flag,also of great interest to me is what the Dutch are doing and great their quality is. “Helen did an incredible job with the flowers for our wedding, all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful they were and our wedding breakfast room looked amazing. Helen completely understood my vision from the start and was so accommodating and helpful with some changes I made as the wedding got closer. We also hired a few items from Helen such as candlestick holders and chair sashes, which were all laid out perfectly on the day. “Emily was our wedding florist (due a recommendation from another bride) and the quality of her work is incredible. She was so helpful and informative through all of the steps in the process, from the very beginning all the way up to the day. I had rough ideas about what I wanted but wasn't sure what was practical, possible or affordable and Emily was really helpful at breaking it all down, offering different possibilities and working with me to create exactly the kind of flowers I was after. In particular, I absolutely adored the bouquets: we really wanted a fresh, unstructured approach to the flowers, and she more than delivered - they looked so beautiful and are still going strong at home a week after the wedding! All of the floral arrangements were beautiful, but I was particularly impressed with her creativity in decorating the venue - we had roses descending from a hanging light installation and a backdrop with greenery and roses in tealight holders so they looked beautiful and fresh all day. She came up with amazing solutions to the kind of flowers that we were after. She's also just the loveliest person, which I think is so important in wedding planning, I knew I trusted her completely and was so excited to see the venue on the day. “The flowers are so incredibly fresh from the flower house they seem to live forever. This week being Mother’s Day my son bought me a beautiful hat box filled with flowers. Not that it wasn’t quirky enough but every day it’s like a wonder watching the flowers open up.
