Shortly after I started having lessons I made great progress and reached grade 5 in a very short space of time. With Richard’s teaching I have developed a solid foundation in rudiments which I previously did not appreciate and have developed the skills to play along with a lot of songs I couldn’t previously. I would highly recommend this drum school to current drummers wanting to improve or even people with no experience at all.”

“We have been at Dar ul Arqam for a year and it is fantastic. They have a proper curriculum, with targets for each year group and assessments. They do hifdh, quran, Tarikh, Fiqh, Seerah, Adab & Aqhlaq. They even have a year- end production and fun day for the kids. It's as organised as a school mashallah. We commute from Beaumontleys and alhamdulillah it is worth the effort because of the knowledge we have seen in our children.”

“Visited the botanical gardens in spring and had a lovely experience. While there weren’t a huge number of flowers in bloom just yet, the gardens were beautifully laid out and thoughtfully maintained. The blossom trees and bluebells added a nice seasonal touch, and the pond with koi fish was a peaceful highlight. A tranquil spot to enjoy nature, even in the earlier part of the season.”

Russell Group - a tiny group that few universities joined doesn't make them better universities. It's the care and support that university provides their students that makes them a better university. The facilities and the communication that makes them a better university. Which this university ranks at the top in, but NOT those in Russell Group. They are just a show off without much student support. Stop being fooled into that union. Pick a uni that will take you a long way. Would recommend this one.”

“We had a most enjoyable time with our granddaughters. The animals are great entertainment for the children especially when they are being fed. The facilities are very good and clean. The staff are courteous and friendly and are always tidying up inside and out. The cafe was very good the food is freshly prepared and tasty. There is a good choice for adults and especially for children. The prices are reasonable £20 for a good lunch for 2 adults and 2 children all drinks included.”

“I have two children studying at LIA (class 6 and foundation 1 ) ; I am very happy with their growth within the school ,the teachers are very friendly and willing to help and whenever we had special requests or problems , they were very transparent and searched for solutions; I must mention that we came from Bangladesh last year;my elder son studied under a totally different style and curriculum and he was supposed to be class 3 abroad; he was behind the class at the beginning of year 5 and gradually became one of the best; his teacher ,Mrs Abraham, is truly one of the best teachers my son has ever had and she helped my son understand concepts that he has missed during this change in learning systems; even if the ofsted report wasn't favourable, my children are doing well,I do hope the school will be able to fulfill ofsted criteria soon”
