“My little girl started here after loosing her confidence at another swimming provider and all I can say is Roundhay Swim you are amazing!! Not only has she gained her confidence back but she’s learnt so much whilst attending and is becoming a great soon to be swimmer. The staff and owner, Zoe are brilliant and my little girls loves attending. The groups are small and each child is given the time and tutoring required. I can’t fault this place it’s the best and only negative is I can’t give more than 5 ⭐️ s.” or I would. Swimming is a life skill and this place is worth every penny spent. “Nemo is great - he has extremely high standards and knows the importance of technique. Our 8 year old made more progress with Nemo in 3 months than the 5 years at the previous swim school!”

“We decided to get a hot tub at the same time as the rest of the UK unfortunately!! This meant that every spa we tried to buy from anyone had long lead times, however, most people didn’t tell us at the beginning of the conversation and we almost paid before being told it would be 4 months. It was a very different story with Pool-Spas. Naomi was very clear immediately that there were lengthy lead times on most models and explained why including the manufacturing process. It was very obvious that this was a company that knew their products and manufacturers very well. We selected the model we wanted (Passion Spa Happy) in the finish that was available soonest and were advised it would be available for delivery in a few weeks . Naomi contacted me a couple of days later with the news that the manufacturer no longer had any of that style available in that timeframe so we changed to a different finish. The communication throughout was very professional, pleasant and I truly felt like my business mattered to both Naomi and Neil personally. Even when things went awry due to the manufacturer Naomi herself felt the disappointment as much as I did. There was a slight additional delay on delivery due to earlier explained circumstances but the hot tub arrived on the day and date arranged. 3 men manoeuvred it to our preferred position and very quickly set it up and explained the basics. They were very chatty and lovely fellas who ensured everything was perfect and they also tidied up all the packaging and removed it. The following morning they returned to double check everything and go through all the features and instructions. We could not have asked for a better service and are over the moon with our hot tub. Would highly recommend (and already have!!) well done to you all!!”

“We booked this in advanced as no bookings on gate, so happy we did, it was fantastic! We had 2 adults and 1, 11 year old with us, and couldn't recommend enough!! We turned up at 09:45 and stayed until 1400, the Q lake was super clean and facilities - shower, toilets and changing rooms all well kept too. We stopped off at the cafe on our way back to the car and had pizza and chips - delicious!!! Food was fresh and tasted yummy! Next time we visit we will most likely camp over as well to make a weekend of it. We will be back!!! Thanks for a great experience Pool Bridge Farm.”

“Such a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year,not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget,but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping,comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.”

“Very good members-only Swimming Centre, there is plenty of free parking onside and good facilities inside such as lockers(you will need to bring your own padlock), a pram storage unit, soft mats inside the changing room, private changing units, showers, hairdryers and toilets. The staff are friendly and helpful and the new centre is kept clean and tidy. The Swimming Teachers are amazing and really do engage with everyone. My Baby really enjoys the fun classes and gets excited when she sees the pool. The pool room and water is heated and you can also bring along a plus one to sit and watch through the next room.”

“Stayed a couple of weeks ago and loved it. The location is super just next to trinity centre. The hotel is modern and the rooms are absolutely spotless. Please thank the housekeeping staff. We had exec lounge added to booking and it was well worth it. Lovely evening food and super drinks. Great value when you think of city prices. A lovely staff member cleared tables but chatted to all customers on what their plans were. But what made this so special was that Natasha on front desk remembered our room preference and remembered our names and had the biggest smile ever!! What amazing service and it really made our whole weekend! Thank you Natasha! Ps the breakfast is absolutely amazing too! Best hotel in Leeds by a country mile! David and Alison”

“I joined this gym a few months ago after comparing to other gyms in the local area and this was by far the best gym. It has a great variety of classes, a lovely swimming pool, sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool. The gym is fantastic with a huge variety of equipment and free weights. A special mention goes to personal trainer Eliza. I signed up for some 1-2-1 sessions with her which proved invaluable. Her knowledge is vast and she listened to what I wanted to achieve and designed 3 programs for me to follow for upper, lower and full body strength training. I highly recommend her! I've found all the staff friendly and the changing facilities are great. too.”

“I joined David Lloyd and started PT sessions with Ana Ava at the same time. Having never joined a gym before, it's been so valuable to have Ana guiding me through and building my confidence. I'm 6 months postpartum an it's only been a month of PT sessions and I already feel such a difference and am lifting heavier than I thought I would. Ana is fab - she's encouraging without being too pushy, genuinely celebrates your wins and adjusts each session to what you need. I'd really recommend her!”

“I stayed for one night for work purposes and had a great experience. The car park had plenty of spaces- ground level spaces were very handy. I received a warm welcome from Patrice at reception, who was friendly and efficient. Archie at the restaurant provided excellent service during dinner — he was attentive and went the extra mile to check with the chef whether the chicken was halal. The chef even came out personally to reassure me and showed me a photo of the chicken’s packaging, which I really appreciated. At breakfast, Harvey was friendly and quick to clear tables and keep the area spotless. Overall, a great hotel with modern decor, good vibes, and outstanding service. Would highly recommend.”

“Nice little pool with a steam and sauna, perfect for a relaxing day after work! Staff are friendly. Showers works just great, there’s shower gel dispenser if you forgot yours and overall a lovely gym and spa that always makes me feel refreshed after a hard day at work!”

“For my thoughts read the review, not the stars. Pros: my partner felt really comfortable training at this gym, helpful staff, clean, good selection of equipment from techno gym, able to get a really solid workout, spacious, wasn’t overly busy when we trained at around 10 am Sunday morning, spa facilities. The cons which may be a positive to others, not a selection of different brands ie Atlantis/prime etc, for me the gym is a good mix for anyone that trains but doesn’t excel for bodybuilding, strongman but at the same time can get a really good workout.”

“Booked for my daughter's birthday who is SEN, for family to come and for us to enjoy a private and safe atmosphere for her birthday. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Clear instructions before our visit and on site. Everyone had a great time. Everything was clean and tidy. Not the first time we have been before and most certainly will be returning. Thanks again our daughter and family loved it!”

“In the sunshine it is perfect. Only up to their knees but deep enough to splash about and play with friends. Little shop selling floats, balls, water guns etc. Not too expensive and they blow the items up for you. Considering the pool is free it's brilliant. My 2 and their friends had a great hour and would have stayed loads longer but we had plans.”

“This pool looks wonderful now. A bit different from the open air pool I knew when I was at school there 1954 - 1961. No filtration and water only changed when it was like pea soup! Happy days though.”
