“We booked this in advanced as no bookings on gate, so happy we did, it was fantastic! We had 2 adults and 1, 11 year old with us, and couldn't recommend enough!! We turned up at 09:45 and stayed until 1400, the Q lake was super clean and facilities - shower, toilets and changing rooms all well kept too. We stopped off at the cafe on our way back to the car and had pizza and chips - delicious!!! Food was fresh and tasted yummy! Next time we visit we will most likely camp over as well to make a weekend of it. We will be back!!! Thanks for a great experience Pool Bridge Farm.”
“A lovely clean pool with a good variety of classes.”
“My little girl started here after loosing her confidence at another swimming provider and all I can say is Roundhay Swim you are amazing!! Not only has she gained her confidence back but she’s learnt so much whilst attending and is becoming a great soon to be swimmer. The staff and owner, Zoe are brilliant and my little girls loves attending. The groups are small and each child is given the time and tutoring required. I can’t fault this place it’s the best and only negative is I can’t give more than 5 ⭐️ s.” or I would. Swimming is a life skill and this place is worth every penny spent. Thank you Zoe and team your great x Alice and her Mummy x”
“Nie ce local swimming pool. Very basic, nothing fancy. The price is reasonable.”
“Lovely pool keep in really good condition apart from the changing tooms which need updatong”
“It was my first time doing aqua aerobics. Loved it. Excellent instructor, friendly and helpful people. Good price, so no luxury but basic showers.”
“Very good members-only Swimming Centre, there is plenty of free parking onside and good facilities inside such as lockers(you will need to bring your own padlock), a pram storage unit, soft mats inside the changing room, private changing units, showers, hairdryers and toilets. The staff are friendly and helpful and the new centre is kept clean and tidy. The Swimming Teachers are amazing and really do engage with everyone. My Baby really enjoys the fun classes and gets excited when she sees the pool. The pool room and water is heated and you can also bring along a plus one to sit and watch through the next room.”
“I joined David Lloyd and started PT sessions with Ana Ava at the same time. Having never joined a gym before, it's been so valuable to have Ana guiding me through and building my confidence. I'm 6 months postpartum an it's only been a month of PT sessions and I already feel such a difference and am lifting heavier than I thought I would. Ana is fab - she's encouraging without being too pushy, genuinely celebrates your wins and adjusts each session to what you need. I'd really recommend her!”
“Nice pool, relatively new, It was quiet around midday and we had the pool to ourselves, I forgot my shorts luckily they had some there for sale. There’s a café selling snacks and coffee…”
“For my thoughts read the review, not the stars. Pros: my partner felt really comfortable training at this gym, helpful staff, clean, good selection of equipment from techno gym, able to get a really solid workout, spacious, wasn’t overly busy when we trained at around 10 am Sunday morning, spa facilities. The cons which may be a positive to others, not a selection of different brands ie Atlantis/prime etc, for me the gym is a good mix for anyone that trains but doesn’t excel for bodybuilding, strongman but at the same time can get a really good workout.”
“Nice, clean pool. Cheap prices.”
“Booked for my daughter's birthday who is SEN, for family to come and for us to enjoy a private and safe atmosphere for her birthday. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Clear instructions before our visit and on site. Everyone had a great time. Everything was clean and tidy. Not the first time we have been before and most certainly will be returning. Thanks again our daughter and family loved it!”
“The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. Great location. Perfect hotel for a business trip.”
“Love this gym and since Everlast have taken over its just gotten so much better than when DW ran it (terrible before), new makeover for the gym had me a bit sad it was closed for a while but honestly it looks amazing now its been done, tons of new machines with wireless charging which is great for music. Great Gym and Great Staff at an amazing price - cheers guys & gals”
“This pool looks wonderful now. A bit different from the open air pool I knew when I was at school there 1954 - 1961. No filtration and water only changed when it was like pea soup! Happy days though.”
“Went with grandkids had 2 hour slot very good place would definitely go again”
“Skye won an hour's play at Elementary Dog Park which was kindly donated to help support our local RSPCA summer fair! Skye is a reactive dog and a fence jumper so privacy and security are the most important things to us in a dog park. We felt very secure within the premises, with parking spaces for multiple cars within the park and proper 6ft fencing with no nearby mounds to discredit the height! Skye loved zooming across the field and using the equipment. Then spent half her time recovering in the shade. Thanks for donating the session, we'll be back again, no doubt!!”
“Fantastic enclosed area for your doggos. 2 fields, the agility field with pond and a chill field. We take our two to the chill field and they love it! There's a water station and even a little paddle pool when it's hot and a toy chest with balls and tug toys for your pooches. You drive straight into the field and shut the gate being you and you know your dogs will be safe. Best place ever!!”
“A lovely piece of nature within the community. Very well maintained and clean walks. There is a sensory garden and pond which can keep kids busy. A true treasure and heartfelt thank you to the volunteers for maintaining it!”
“Easy instructions to follow sent the hour before our appointment via text and email. Lots of throwing toys for the dogs to utilise in the field.”
“Great place to swim . Absolutely love the views also it was so hot day that the water was so warm . Never ever heard any place you can swim in Leeds , but this truly is safe for swim . There is a group who doing full moon swim sessions at this lake which is interesting event. I did not try but probably will join. Absolutely stunning walk with birds and nature . Hiking possibilities with beautiful views . I will definitely come to see this beautiful place again . There is public toilets available and also cafeteria with amazing views .”
“Roundhay Park is absolutely brilliant – one of the best city parks I’ve ever visited. It’s massive, beautifully maintained, and has something for everyone. The lakes, woodlands, and wide open green spaces make it perfect for walks, picnics, or just relaxing outdoors. We spent a good few hours wandering around and still didn’t see it all. The walk around Waterloo Lake was especially lovely, with ducks and swans, and loads of scenic spots to stop and take in the view. The Tropical World nearby is also well worth a visit if you’ve got kids or just fancy something a bit different. Great facilities too – plenty of parking, clean toilets, and cafes dotted around for a coffee or snack. Whether you’re local or just visiting Leeds, Roundhay Park is a must-see. A proper breath of fresh air right on the city’s doorstep.”
“We had a very nice morning walking around the park with our dog. There’s a few car parks on either side of the park with plenty of spaces. They’re free to park. Lots of guided paths to follow with maps everywhere. The wildfowl lake was popular with the kids! The gardens are currently bare due to winter, but I’m sure it’ll be beautiful to visit in the summer. There’s a dog friendly cafe with a selection of cakes and hot/cold drinks, and ice cream! Looking forward to returning in the summer season for music on Sundays!”
“A lovely open space. Plenty of open areas for children to play and a well maintained playground. The wooded area is a delight - lots of paths to explore. If you want a climbing challenge, then there are some good steep slopes to scramble up. The coffee shop near the car park on the south side is excellent.”
“Beautiful park, amazing trees and plants. Had a funfair in park if you have little ones. Live music and has tennis courts and mini golf. Not sure if fair and live music on all time but we went on Sunday 27th July.”
“Beautiful walk, did it by accident, we meant to do swinsty as shorter but my 90 year old mum managed the 4.5 miles”
“Beautiful walk, very windy and the rain made the uphill trek difficult, but the feeling when you reach top withins is unmatched”
“Beautiful park and gardens. Connects easily to Meanwood park and there is a walkway under the ring road heading towards Adel and Golden Acre Park.”
