“Amazing place to relax and have a walk. Plenty of green space and a beautiful lake with good views”
“We love this park! Great for smaller and older children (and there's a great little cafe with refreshments for the adults!) Spacious and fun, my three year old is becoming more adventurous and wanting to climb the bigger frames/slides! Plenty of benches and seating around. With the other activities on offer, (such as basketball hoops, tennis courts, climbing wall etc), you could easily spend a whole afternoon here!”
“Two of my sons, Harry and Riley, attend their swimming lessons here. Harry - Weds @4.15pm Riley - Weds @4.30pm and are both currently doing breaststroke. They are a fantastic swimming pool and the staff are always helpful, friendly and happy. The kids really enjoy it and have come on leaps and bounds since starting. Not only in their swimming, but also their confidence in the water. If you are looking for somewhere for a leisurely swim, or for lessons for your children, I can not recommend here enough”
“Such a great, friendly community pool. The facilities are no frills but always clean and all the staff are extremely welcoming. We enjoy swimming lessons with Baby Swim UK and the Parent and Baby swim sessions.”
“Creative Pools did a fab job of fitting a new liner & wide mouth skimmer plate to our Gardi Pool. We are super pleased with the quality of the work.”
“Visited years ago with my children and now visiting with grandchildren. Lovely quiet learner pool for little ones. Just the right depth and always warm . If you observe the timetable you can choose a quiet session and the changing rooms are frequently cleaned. Not flashy or interactive pools but a good safe pool to spend your time playing and teaching littlies. It's a swimming pool, not a theme park!”
“Great little place for the youngsters. Small shallow pool, playground, adjacent to a field with football wall, outside gym, and youth shelter. All on the doorstep of the tennis courts and Hanger Farm Arts Centre.”
“Lovely friendly staff, Leisure centre was clean, Nice pool, we were there for a swim meet hosted by Seagulls.”
“COSSC is a fantastic, friendly club with dedicated Coaches and volunteers alike. We have been at the club for 3 years with our children. The learn to swim programme is in a league of its own with an almost personal pathway for your child, we have one of our children there and the progress has been unreal. The main club based at the Quays, with its highly experienced coaches and great facilities definitely stands out from the rest. The club is now also benefitting from having a new facilities operator and the club our hosting more meets and events than before.”
“Depth at 4ft just right for kids at play.”
“Lovely pitches and working facilities”
“Great Hospital, coming to live in Poole from a big city , just shows how big cities suffer from healthcare. Staff in Poole Hospital are super friendly , any appointment I had so far was on time and doctors and nurses are super friendly, informative and in general provide you all the information you will need for your procedure.”
“Paul was extremely professional and very reasonable, very knowledgeable and highly recommended, Thank you Paul.”
“Been going to the clinic for over a year now and truth be told-they are a Godsend. They don't just adjust the body. They look at the wholesome pocture of the whole entire mind and body amd specifically nervous system and how it is involved in all our daily lives and life processes. Could not recommend it enough! Such a great team there. A big shoutout to Dr Joshua Smith and Dr Harrison. Also Dr Olivia. Amazing people with warm hearts and ready to help hands.”
“Jamie came out the next evening after I contacted him - very quick and responsive. He talked me through the issues behind the poor state of my swimming pool, thoroughly cleaned it and treated it on his first visit. The pool was crystal clear the next day, which was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended.”
“Lydia's coaching skills are truly exceptional, making her an outstanding coach. My son eagerly anticipates his weekly sessions and has developed a strong passion for swimming under her guidance. Thanks to Lydia's expertise, his swimming abilities have shown remarkable improvement.”
“Beautiful place to go loads of open spaces for people to walk and cycle. Large areas for children play. Beautiful river at brockenhurst where you can often see horses and foals, cattle and sometimes donkeys and pigs.”
“A wonderful hidden gem - so peaceful and lovely to meander across the little islands. The walk up the hill to the nursery and farm shop cafe is also well worth it. Just lovely.”
“We visited from an Airbnb in Portsmouth. It took us about an hour to get there, but it was well worth the trip! A great place to escape into nature in the picturesque New Forest. We did both the Tall trees trail and Arboretum trail in about 2 hours and this was with plenty stops for chats on the benches and little diversions walking more into the forest. It’s just be right amount of walk if you’re looking for something light but energetic. There were toilets and a van serving ice cream with a small choice of dairy-free and gluten free options too and plenty of picnic benches dotted around. We ended the trip with a coffee trip into the nearby village of Lyndhurst. Well worth the visit!”
“Ben W is a very good teacher with my son. He stood in for his normal teacher and my son immediately took to him. When the normal teacher left Ben took her place, and I was very pleased. He explains everything well, and makes it enjoyable for him to learn. He is very patient when my son doesn't understand and is happy to explain the task again. He is very friendly and gives praise when it's due.”
“A beautiful forest park, perfect for walking and enjoying nature, with breathtaking scenery including a lake and benches for resting and sitting. Along the way, there are signposts to help you find your way, and the park also features interesting historical landmarks. It’s advisable to bring your own water, as there are no shops available.”
“What a lovely place. Not recommended for elderly, pregnant, less-abled though. The walk up does have some steps, but there's a lot of slippery chalk to contend with going up or down the hill. Only been once so maybe there's others ways/paths but we went up 1 way and down another and both slippery in Autumn. Great views at the top. Nice little woods for kids to play hide and seek in. Will definitely visit again.”
“Excellent trail, there are a lot of options and not much elevation, would say good for beginner hikers and children. In a nice day there are some small streams where you can dip your feet, take children and have a picnic, in one word wholesome. Nice horses, cows and donkeys everywhere ❤️”
“This is a large area of managed wetlands with drainage channels throughout. There is a single path, fenced off from the meadows that joins Salisbury centre to Harnham Mill. There are some good but distant views of the cathedral, and a few signs referring to Constable, who may have painted neer here.”
“First time at the Paw Paddock and our pup absolutely loved it. Big field, loads of space, proper little paradise for doggos. Only downside - had to pick up a couple of mystery poos left by someone else’s lazy human. Bit grim, but hey, didn’t ruin the fun. Overall nice spot, we’ll definitely be back.”
“This is right on our doorstep and is a lovely walk any time of year. I love taking my baby daughter out for a walk along the riverbank to look at the ducks. If you are lucky you can see deer, dab chicks and a cormorant.”
“Easy to find and well sign posted once you enter the farm. I visited today, hot and dry, but water and bench available in shade. Only critique is that the gate needs lifting to close into latch, but I imagine that’s easily fixed.”
