“Been a member now for two years and this has been by far the best one. The roof off the pool has been amazing. Rain or shine there is nothing better than a swim and it is never too busy, can always find a lane or somewhere to sit by the pool. The gym is brilliant, plenty of equipment and really friendly staff to help when you need a bit of advice on what you are doing. 2 years ago I didn’t think I’d be a gym person but I can’t get enough of it now”

“We ordered a US made Cove retreat hot tub from M Pools and are absolutely over the moon with it even though took a while coming from the states, but well worth the wait! Malcolm and his team that delivered it were brilliant and very professional and they got it installed with no problems at all, they even made a concrete base for it to sit on so that it was level. I highly recommend M Pools and will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“We have baby swimming classes here and find it so fun and helpful for little one. Bea, the instructor is fantastic, very kind and gentle with the babies. She teaches with songs and really encourages both baby and parent. She really goes above and beyond to ensure the little ones are having a good time and relaxed. The water in the pool is nice and warm. I highly recommend the classes!”

“Lots of avian wildlife along this stretch of The Thames. There are plenty of benches to sit on and watch the world go by, as well as extensive lawn areas on which to sunbathe or have picnics in the summer. There's a children's paddling pool and playground. Tennis courts. Public conveniences. Some lovely trees, especially a line of Lombardy poplars, which can be seen on the edge of the eastern boundary. The pedestrian bridge is a worthy addition to the Meadows. There's a nice area right by the end of Wolsey Road where you can sit on benches and watch the boats. There are a lot of bird families on that stretch of the river. They enjoy the floating bird seed, which can be conveniently bought at Homecrafts, the brilliant hardware store in Prospect Street. Christchurch Meadows is a charming, tranquil area to spend time in. The birdlife is wonderful. When I was seriously ill in the hospital, I daydreamed of being here. It's an idyll, a piece of paradise, and I love it.”

Yes please but I don’t know any pool that is. Plenty of great classes as well. I do spin three times a week and it’s always on and always a great vibrant place to work out with plenty of the right kit”

“Amazing historic track. I was surprised that there weren’t more runners making a pilgrimage to this track. The track was amazing. 6 full lanes and 8 sprint lanes. Did a couple of miles with the family and we all had a great time. Bought the tickets there for 4.50 quid and it was well worth it. Bathrooms and water in the center alone. Just glad that I was able to visit this track in my time at Oxford.”

“Value for money. Not the best soft play but half the price of the rest. Nice and clean and well looked after. Free parking for 4 1/2 hours. Make sure to put your reg in at the touchscreen to the left of the reception. Soft play is over 4 stories, slides, trampolines, ropes and much more. Great fun for the kids. Also has a little toddler area too.”
