“Been a member now for two years and this has been by far the best one. The roof off the pool has been amazing. Rain or shine there is nothing better than a swim and it is never too busy, can always find a lane or somewhere to sit by the pool. The gym is brilliant, plenty of equipment and really friendly staff to help when you need a bit of advice on what you are doing. 2 years ago I didn’t think I’d be a gym person but I can’t get enough of it now”

“Last summer Russell came to investigate a potential leak and a chemical imbalance with the pool. He took a lot of time to test areas for the leek, resolved it and changed the sand in the filter. The results have been great. The best impact was opening the pool this year it was clear and water level had not changed. A great relief and no more throwing chemicals at the problem. A great job well done. He was also able to source an electrician to change the timer”

“Lovely woodland walk with ponds, the cafe here is always nice but can get very busy. The country park itself is a great little place for a small-medium walk. On the park side is a walk suitable for pushchairs with no inclines, and across the car park is one with hills and a nice view, not pushchair friendly, but works for adults and small children.”

“Went to this Lido on a Thursday with their Swim & Lunch package. Such a best deal! We came a bit late but the team are very welcoming and flexible and we can still enjoy the lunch and the swim and spa facilities.”

“Horseshoe Lake Activity Centre: A Pawsitively Wonderful Day on the Water I recently had the pleasure of visiting Horseshoe Lake Activity Centre and it was an absolute gem! The staff, led by the incredibly friendly and accommodating Paul, went above and beyond to make my day unforgettable. Despite my late arrival for the last session of the day. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well-cared for. The team provided everything I needed to hit the water and have a blast, ensuring a safe and hassle-free experience. He even offered to delay the end of the session to give me more time on the water. One of the highlights was Paul's kindness in arranging for a colleague to bring his phone from the office to the boat. He then took the time to capture a series of amazing photos, which he later sent to me, creating lasting memories of my adventure with my beloved dog, Xena Warrior Princess. I'm so grateful to Paul and his colleagues for making my last road trip with my dog so special. Their dedication to providing exceptional service made all the difference. Always friendly. Great crowd of swimmers down there to. If you ever go solo there is always a friendly face to offer support and advise.”

“We have baby swimming classes here and find it so fun and helpful for little one. Bea, the instructor is fantastic, very kind and gentle with the babies. She teaches with songs and really encourages both baby and parent. She really goes above and beyond to ensure the little ones are having a good time and relaxed. The water in the pool is nice and warm. I highly recommend the classes!”
