A wonderful day to celebrate my friend’s birthday. All the staff were welcoming, accommodating and exceptionally well trained. From beginning to end the whole experience of an incredible massage, beautiful nighttime swimming, sauna, steam and hot tub, finished off with an exquisite meal overlooking a truly enchanting, festive scene. Thank you all so much, I will be back!

Great SPA; nicely organised and not too expensive. Very friendly staff. Pool: it was at 24 degrees when we came. Quite cold but nice if you go into the sauna first. Jacuzzi: much warmer, spent most of my time here. Low on bubbles and very relaxing. Sauna: pretty large and spacious. You need your towel for this one. Steam room: my preferred hot one. It got pretty steamy in there, especially if you stand up. Sitting down was easy. We had breakfast there also and it was delicious; well worth our trip out from London.

Went to this Lido on a Thursday with their Swim & Lunch package. Such a best deal! We came a bit late but the team are very welcoming and flexible and we can still enjoy the lunch and the swim and spa facilities.

I recently visited this winter swimming pool, and it exceeded my expectations! The water temperature was ideal — warm enough to be comfortable even on the coldest days, but still refreshing. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, and the locker rooms were tidy with plenty of space. What really stood out was the atmosphere: calm, relaxing, and perfect for both exercise and leisure. The staff were welcoming and always ready to help, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Whether you’re a serious swimmer or just looking to unwind, this is the perfect spot for winter swimming. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly this season!

I had such a lovely spa day package including lunch yesterday. So starting from the beginning: Parking: is very limited depending what time you go. There’s a public Ringo paid for car park out the front which is where I ended up going but if you can get into their car park I think it’s free or cheaper. The setting itself is quirky and buzzy and I loved it, the pool was a great temperature and the sauna was wonderful. The jacuzzi was always busy and a little small and the steam room wasn’t very steamy and in need of an update. The cold bucket was fun after the sauna too. I wish they provided some flip flops as I forgot mine (even if they’re paid for) and wish there was more comfortable seating around to read a book as this seemed limited but didn’t detract from my overall experience. I also got very cold from being wet and sat outside before my massage and even after I showered I wish I’d brought an extra towel so I wasn’t sat back in a wet robe (didn’t think ahead). I had a full body massage and the massage rooms sit above the edge of the pool. You can hear the indistinct chatter and clanging of cutlery but I actually found this to be really relaxing rather than it being so quiet with a bit of spa music. The massage was amazing and I came out feeling so relaxed and the masseuse took me to the tea room and offered a selection of herbal teas after and it helped warm me back up. The lunch was unbelievable - service was good and quick and very tasty. All in all - such an amazing value spa day and really well done - there’s a few minor things that could be done to make the experience 5* overall but you can’t knock it! Thank you so much

Thames Lido located on Napier Road is a renovated and resurrected Edwardian outdoor swimming pool. The lido in Kings Meadow was derelict for years before being refurbished. I used to drive past it every week and think what if… The building itself has been refurbished extensively throughout. From the outside it looks much the same but inside … what a treat. The place is amazing. Go in through the door through and round to the left for the bar and seating for food. The pool takes centre stage with swimmers braving the cold or the sun to put a few lengths in, alternately chilling out in the hot tubs at the end. The facilities are excellent. Food on the day was a selection from the tapas menu (recommend the shredded white cabbage and the chorizo; don’t forget the flat breads). When you are inside it’s hard to imagine where you are, it literally transports you to a different place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Relaxing with a nice vibe and energy I will definitely be going back. I recommend trying this place you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Parking is in its own private car park - you pay inside the venue the machine is located on the left on the way out. First 2 hours are free then reasonable rates.

Really enjoyed the ‘Swim & Breakfast’ package for a relaxing morning, it was great value. The facilities at the Lido are great, outdoor pool has enough room for plenty of people to swim with the outdoor hot tub being lovely in the cold weather. Both the sauna and steam room are finished lovely, with lots of space. Staff were very friendly and kind, offering us a tour of facilities so that we knew where to go. Would visit again.

Very well done and quaint Lido. It's so pretty, the staff are welcoming and there is something lovely about being outdoors in October yet having access to the facilities. Everything is picture perfect and we enjoyed a lovely 2 course meal at the restaurant as part of our package. However, you do have to pay for parking if there more than 2 hrs which seems a bit unfair when you've paid for a 2hr+ package

Fab place. Loved it. My friend and I had a lovely time in the pool/hot tub and then our lunch was amazing. Can't wait to do it again. So tastefully renovated too....a pleasure to see.

Just amazing! The wife and myself went for the swim/massage/meal package and I could recommend it enough. The swimming facilities are super clean and maintained very well. The massage, I went for Back, neck, shoulder and facial which was quite possibly the greatest massage I have ever had. Massive thank you to Lucy who was incredible. Dinner was just the icing on the cake! 3 tapas dishes plus sour dough bread which was plenty enough for myself. Ended with a delicious coffee. Book up asap! You won't be disappointed!
