“Completed my RYA 1&2 with Brighton Watersports. The instructors were great - patient, competent and thorough. Doing the training in fresh water at Piddinghoe is perfect for beginners as there's no tide to worry about and club house provides a warm refuge if you fall in.”

“Great small pool. Always a good temperature and clean are people there are lovely and always polite and amazing. My small person had swiming lessons there which I highly recommend if your small people need lessons. they go from tiny to above. There are public swimming times as well.”

“Excellent! I loved that this place allows you to use both indoor and outdoor pools. As it was a hot day, I spent most of the time in the outdoor pool. And it's overall very solid. Nice and spacious, a reasonable deep end, diving boards. The rapids pool was also a tonne of fun- keep in mind that they only turn the rapids on at half past whatever the time is, for about 10 minutes. Definitely recommended though”

“Cafe ladies always friendly and helpful, come here just for cafe with kids sometimes as very children friendly. More healthy options and non dairy milk latte etc options would be a good improvement as lacks that currently. General facilities good value. Only issue was when baby changing toilet was out of order for ages and only alternative upstairs which difficult with pram etc.”

“When I booked these sessions with Mel I wasn’t sure if my 4yr old would even go in the water and I didn’t know where to start with teaching him to swim, he didn’t even like getting his hair wet. But I definitely came to the right place, he instantly connected with Mel and she made it so enjoyable for him that he can swim underwater now after only a couple of sessions, wants to become a lifeguard and is asking me everyday to “go back to Mel’s house”! He had a huge smile on his face the whole time he was there. He progressed so much in a short space of time with her game-based approach and attention to detail. The water is also lovely and warm and the changing area is very user-friendly, and has toys for siblings to play with. Mel gave us lots of individualised tips to carry on working on and we can’t wait to go back. It’s been a great experience all round. Thank you so much Mel, you are amazing ♥️♥️♥️”

“Lovely small pool with tiered seating area on one side. Clean, communal changing rooms, lockers not very good so have to leave swim/changing bag out. Pool is about waist height in shallow area so definitely not suitable for little ones unless you are completely vigilant and hold them. Lovely staff and pool is reasonably priced. There are some great adult only swim sessions if you prefer quiet swimming without kids. All in all a great pool.”
