βAll you have to do is book online via congleton town council and you get a 3 hour slot. It's about 60' in diameter and at its deepest it's just under knee deep to an adult, it's clean and safe for the kids. Best part, it's free. There are no refreshments on site, you can bring your own though. The only amenities on site are a toilet and some bins and 7 benches, there is space to lay out a towel and lounge in the sun though.β
βWe enjoyed our stop off at the Pool Dole, it was my brother's birthday and we went in for a few drinks in the lounge. There was a band setting up and during setting up they did a couple of part sets and they sounded very good, we will be back soon with our partners.β
βLove this gym for the cafe, staff and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool staff are really friendly alongside the reception and cafe members. The food is great, I really love the crispy chicken salad and coffee! Credit were credit is due! Thanksβ

βAs soon as you walk into the Alfresco Life showroom, the team go out of their way to make you feel special. Francesca and Glen really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and guide you through your purchase without any hard sell. You can tell that they're passionate about ensuring you get the hot tub that's right for your needs. If you're looking for a hot tub in the north west, I would highly recommend Alfresco Life.β

βWe went to see the Christmas decorations within the main house. There's no extra charge for National Trust Members but you still have to book a time slot. Absolutely fabulous displays with really interesting info boards to explain the function of each room at Christmas, and some very clever themes applied to the decorations. Fun activities for kids, some very enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to support the visit. Well worth a look if this is your kind of thingβ
βBeautiful park next to the river Severn. Riverside walks, children's play & water parks. Great cafe next to the leisure centre. The Dingle Garden is full of interesting plants and a pond.β
βGreat place for water sports. We took our own SUP which was only Β£12.50 each for the day. There is parking, clean toilets, changing rooms, a hose to rinse off your board afterwards and a outside shower to rinse yourself off. Nice friendly staff and you can hire SUP, canoes etc with taster sessions. Such a great day would recommend to anyone.β

βGreat place to take the kids with parts for all ages. With the quarry right next to it for picnics and ball games it's a really good location. Would be better with cleaner toilets but the same could be said about anywhere. At least this park has toilets. Good amount of seating dotted around makes it easy to sit and watch the kids playing. Overall great place to go.β
βGreat place to meet local people and eventsβ
βGreat area for all the family members and friendly dogs. After nice walk everyone can enjoy a cup of coffee or an ice cream in local coffee. Summer time is even better as you can enjoy water activitiesβ
βIt's a lovely lake and a nice easy walk around the lake. And it has paths leading off to other walks through the woodland. So you can make your walk as big or small as you like. Lots of nature trails and lots of things the kids can spot along the way. The little cow shed next door to the reserve so you can grab a cuppa. Card only. Oakhanger project's is how I came to know the place through kayaking and canoeing. Which I found through Walk talk action. Which you can also find on Facebook and get involved for people of all agesβ
βThe Hales Hall caravan and camping site is in Cheadle Staffordshire. It's a large site that provides both tent and caravan pitches. They also have the choice of 3 types of wooden lodges which looks lovely but they are limited to just a few. On this site they have a statley home which as a restaurant that you can book a table even if you are not staying at the site. They have a bar with a good selection of drinks and friendly staff. They have all the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable toilets and showers blocks. This site is close to the Alton towers theme park and also a great place to stay if you want to explore some of Staffordshires beautiful walks and trialsβ
β1820 the trees were donated from around the country it's got the most variety of trees in the country in one park. These trees have seen so many memories tears and laughter. We sit under them from the shade and shelter from the rain. I love this park and the lake.β
βGreat virtual tour for less able visitors, excellent guide who was a mine of information about this early example of factories and continuous processes. Good catering and well worth a visitβ
βWent here for the North Pole express. We had a great time. The staff were all really friendly. A great experience for us and the kids. A small bag of treats on the train including port and mince pies for us and juice and cookies for the kids made the journey even better. The kids loved their gifts from Santa too; a well thought out gift for our kids ages. The elves on board made it fun, having a sing along and even a bit of magic which was great. All in all a really great experience and highly recommend it. We also had a drink in the bar after, mulled wine and a great selection of beers finished off with some tasty hot meat baps and pigs in blankets.β
