tayed for one night on Saturday 13th December and had a terrible night with very little sleep due to constant banging from above. It started at 3am and was still happening when we left at 9am. Informed the manager who came to our room, heard the noise and advised that we would receive a refund if we contacted customer services. She said that she would make a note on our booking to facilitate this. When we contacted them, we were informed that we did not qualify for a refund as it was not reported immediately. We were aware that the hotel was full and the manager was not able to identify the source of the noise as there was no room directly above. Also as it started at 3am it seemed reasonable to assume that it would be short-lived and we did not want to get dressed and walk to reception. The manager assured us that we qualified for a refund when we reported it. Sara on the Customer Service Line was dismissive and unhelpful to the point of being outright rude and said that what the manager had told us was incorrect and we did not qualify due to not reporting the issue at 3am. The "Good Night Guarantee" is a con and Premier Inn will do anything to avoid paying out even if their staff have seen or heard the problem.

Another town another premier inn , this time the room ( prem + ) was massive well furnished comfortable and super clean , Leanne greeted to me and was a great example of how staff are the hotel and greeted me with a warm smile and explained everything i needed to know even went and got me some Hot Chocolate which you don’t actually get in the rooms ! Again loaned me an Apple Watch charger as I’d forgotten mine as I need it as I have an app to check blood sugar ! Perfect hotel and if Leanne is anything to go by the staff will all be wonderful too

If you’re looking for a premier in that is understating of autism and adhd people then go to spitfire Stafford, sadly the “acting manager” at Trentham is nothing of the sorts. As we all know some neurodivergent people can become quite frustrated and vocal and have meltdowns like my son did here, no damage or any harm done just a raised voice and a complaint from neighbours and instead of approaching my son and asking if all was okay they kicked him out and refused to allow him back into the room to help his fiancée pack the room up with a 10 month old baby in tow, so she mad forced to do it all alone whilst he was treated like a criminal and kept outside in the cold. My husband darted over there from Cannock to collect them and was laughed at when he give his first name when saying he was here to collect our daughter in law and help with her bags, she laughed and said surname!!!!! Like we was a family of criminals! I rang head office who put me through to them as their direct number is a dead number and I recorded the call for my safety and theirs and she then because she had no other grounds to defend her appalling behaviour suggested is should “ speak with my daughter in law” like she was insinuating my son had done something! All my son actually did was get mad at his controller whilst playing fifa which his fiancée told her. The lady refused to issue a refund for the second night I had paid for them to stay and left me no option to call back to speak with an “actual” manager tomorrow. She was very unprofessional and her bedside manner was questionable at best. So yes if you have a hidden disability this probably isn’t the place for you as their understanding is average to poor at best. Spitfire up at Stafford however is lovely and all their staff get along amazingly with my son his fiancée and their little girl who’ve they’ve watched the whole pregnancy and right up to her being 10 months old. Just to add there she also tried to antagonise my son into kicking off by telling him his fiancée and baby wasn’t leaving they was staying when she was upstairs packing alone with no help.

Nice and clean modern rooms. Staff were excellent and friendly. Location is excellent, especially if you are going to an event at Trentham Gardens. There was a nice breakfast spread too. Excellent hotel for a short stay. Will definitely use again

Observation: Restaurant 'seriously needs sorted' unorganized, food being sent out Luke warm, but some staff more interested in putting bums on seats and forgetting to take food back, chef staff always out in restaurant filling up on bar drinks and coffee machine. Seems to be guests hovering around reception but no one seems to my present to serve. On check out, 'No reception staff can be seen again'. Room main shower head coated in black build up as never been cleaned and not spraying correctly I'm direction it's intended for. I write this as had worked in 'catering management' for over 12 years overseeing hospitality front of house that had fallen in bad management and organising, this makes my blood boil seeing how simple things create problems that are easy to solve. Reading other people views on food 'warm etc' hasn't resolved.

Great location, room strangely arranged with hand basin not in the shower/toilet room. The paintwork and finish in the shower room was diabolical my 11 yr old could have done a better job. The bed really comfortable and room nicely warm.

Room was lovely and clean. Staff were super friendly. My brother had lost his room key and they sorted the issue without a fuss. Breakfast buffet was good. Choice of everything. Cooked, continental and cereal.. pancakes etc. juice , tea and coffee available. The only issue was that after the 1st night I noticed that our peephole on the door was broken. Looking in from the corridor you could see straight into the room which was very unnerving. So hopefully they get that fixed.

Arrived late. Food service had just finished. And 2 restaurants beside the hotel had stopped serving. So that was a bummer as we had to order a pizza in. Ice machine also broken and I hate drinks with no ice. However. Sometimes things happen and its no fault of the staff or hotel. Rooms great, clean very comfortable and very enjoyable. Staff were very very nice All good...

This hotel is set in very good location just 2/5 minutes away from the famous gardens and a really good quality single floor shopping village. Staff when booking in are very friendly with a nice coffee seating area and bar with a restaurant/breakfast area. Our disabled room was as we expected and was very spacious and clean . I would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the gardens and need a overnight stay or on route to your holiday destination as we are .
