   Stopped off here for a Sunday lunch, which turned out to be excellent. Slow cooked beef shin melted in the mouth. A good sized plate that was completely full. Great value, good service and a lovely place too. Recommended.

   Just ate here... really friendly atmosphere, staff were very nice, the food was seriously perfect! Ill drive all the way back just to have the duck again. The sauce for it will stay with me. I used to be a chef so taste is everything. Will be back for sure

   An absolute gem! Delicious Sunday Lunch - 13hr Braised Beef was stunning - the best I have had in a long time. Attentive and thoughtful waiting staff made the experience exceptional. A must for a return visit.

   Food used to be fabulous here. Been twice since it changed hands due to pandemic. Food has gone right down and 5he menu had changed, taken off a lot of the dishes we liked. Used to do a lovely curry, had one a few weeks ago, could get better in a supermarket. Was good pub grub , now just average pub grub

   Quite simply the best pub experience ever. We stayed one night here to celebrate our first anniversary having lunch and 3 courses for dinner. The location is ideal for a getaway with a beautiful setting and large garden seating area too. The views with the nearby riding centre and water feature make this a very relaxing location. The pub itself is kept very clean as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. Very very good facilities for a pub stay. Everything is modern in a traditional style. The food is delicious. The double cooked chips are amazing and i never thought I'd say it but that perhaps was the best rump steak I've ever had. Prices are competitive too!! The breakfast is top notch, can't be faulted!! The staff are so helpful, friendly, attentive and patient, not in a rush even if busy. We can't wait to come back here again and can't recommend this place enough!! Thank you to all the staff that helped make our stay here truly the best day ever!

   Nice location with great food. We had fish and Chips for two and it was lovely to sit in the garden and watch the Shetland ponies in the nearby field. Food and service was great. Good price.
