“I joined David Lloyd due to the pool facilities. It is always clean, and relaxing no matter if busy or quiet. The new gym layout / equipment is great. Liv was a star when I first joined the gym - she is so knowledgable. There has been issues when using guest passes for signing in, but nothing is a bother to the team - they’re always so friendly. Looking forward to the new courts opening!”
“Lovely atmosphere. Reasonably priced bar and lots of games to choose from. Bowling, pool, air hockey, darts just to name a few. Staff very friendly and attentive. We will be back.”
“Staff were exceptionally patient, knowledgeable and eager to help. A winning combination that more companies should strive for in their customer relations!”
“I love the 50 m pool. The cleanliness is high and the staff are helpful and friendly. It's a safe environment, Showers have been restored and there are different types of saunas where yiu can relax after a swim. Love it!”
“Rileys might be my new favourite place to play darts! The lanes are seperate from the pool and snooker so there's no distractions. Very well kept, the service was great from start to finish and the food was delicious, especially for the price! Will definitely be back with friends or for date night.”
“Great option if u are looking for everything under one roof and booking process is quite easy. Also, many events to take part in.”
“Took our kids (9 and 11) here for an afternoon and had a fantastic time. The staff were super friendly and very encouraging to my daughter who was nervous trying the slides. Heaps of different equipment to play on so no-one ever got bored. They also had a soft-play climbing area that would be great for younger kids. Had a great after-school special on where the kids could play for as long as they wanted (we ended up staying for 3 hours!). We pre-bought our tickets online, but it was pretty quiet when we arrived (15:30 on a Thursday) so maybe you could just rock up?”
“Great and friendly staff. They let you have a look around for as long as you want without bothering you. Very knowledgeable when asked questions. Everyone has fish so can relate to problems and different scenarios!”
“Fantastic venue that has recently been upgraded. Beautiful setting in the middle of Westburn Park, indoor and outdoor courts as well as padel, with friendly and knowledgeable staff.”
“Super pool with moving floor, toys to play, clean changing rooms. Use the LL app to book - super easy”
“We loved our canoeing experience. The instructor was fabulous and my son loved every minute.”
“Good place to take the kids. 2 pools, big and small and both are well heated with alert staff. They do recommend you bring armbands for all kids under a certain age. The price was great!! £10 for 2 kids and 2 adults if I recall correctly.”

“Brilliant pool party with the inflatable obstacle course. Looks good for lane swimming too, for the fitness fanatics”
“Looks even better after the latest refurbishment. Plenty of lockers in the changing rooms and good size pool. The swimming teachers are absolutely brilliant with our 5 year old. Booking process can be a bit slow via the Liv Aberdeen site”
“Staff on reception are super sweet and welcoming. The gym is kept to a great hygiene standard and everything is easy to navigate. I would recommend this gym over others, no waiting about for machines, great pool and sauna.”
“I believe this is the deepest public swimming pool in Aberdeen at 3 m at the deep end. Good for diving practice and a bit of fun. The staff are also nice and helpful. A bit of a drive to get there but apart from that everything is fine. Recommended especially for public sessions.”
“Great swimming pool, difficult to book just now due to Covid and there are limited spaces available. Very clean, nice staff, nice pool.”
“Our son had a great time and the instructor was very knowledgeable, especially for our needs. He was also professional and perhaps best of all..enthusiastic and seemed to love what he was doing.”
“(Aberdeen) Brilliant cafe and spacious garden centre shop area, and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast (good value for money)… although ended up spending what we saved on the wide selection of plants outside :D”
“Young lady called Jackie showed me around great facilities”
“Pleasant atmosphere, the swimming pool is clean and the water is warm as well there is a child swimming zone. Excellent jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna.”
“Booked this hotel because of close proximity to the theatre. Very impressed with the room. We stayed in the "Gordon Suite", which was a large room overlooking Union Terrace gardens. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely high ceilings. Check-in was very efficient. Ecxcellent location being just a short walk after the show at the theatre. Had a few drinks in the hotel bar afterwards and lovely breakfast in the morning.”
“Great place for spectacular cliffs and in spring for thousands of nesting birds. Nature Centre near Colliestone is worth visiting, especially with children”
“This was the first of many activities we booked before arriving to stay in Aviemore and what a great place to start off our holiday. Fun activities for kids and grown ups alike, I personally went out of my comfort zone and did the high ropes, having never done anything like that before it really tested me but so glad I did it, my daughter even did the skydive and showed great bravery”
“While out in woods you are close to several small towns and 1 hour from Aberdeen. We put over 800 miles on rental car. Nice place to really get away from it all. Pool and hot tub as well as Sauna were perfect.”
“Was here as an entrant into the Saltire 24 hour race. Facilities were good, and the views around the area were sublime. Plenty of people enjoying swimming, paddleboarding, and more on the loch.”
“We had a late lunch in one of the domes in the grounds overlooking part of the golf course and 19th hole! Service was good but unintrusive. I had scampi and it was delicious with great attention to detail on sides too. (Vinegar in small spray bottle, delicious tartar sauce with minted pea puree and chips. Lemon was covered with muslin to prevent seeds falling on to your food. 10/10.”
“A nice park with a lil farm (££) and a playground. Plenty of benches and greenery for a picnic. Perfect for a sunny weather.”
