Outdoor pool in Leeds

“We booked this in advanced as no bookings on gate, so happy we did, it was fantastic! We had 2 adults and 1, 11 year old with us, and couldn't recommend enough!! We turned up at 09:45 and stayed until 1400, the Q lake was super clean and facilities - shower, toilets and changing rooms all well kept too. We stopped off at the cafe on our way back to the car and had pizza and chips - delicious!!! Food was fresh and tasted yummy! Next time we visit we will most likely camp over as well to make a weekend of it. We will be back!!! Thanks for a great experience Pool Bridge Farm.”

“Such a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year,not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget,but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping,comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.”

“We decided to get a hot tub at the same time as the rest of the UK unfortunately!! This meant that every spa we tried to buy from anyone had long lead times, however, most people didn’t tell us at the beginning of the conversation and we almost paid before being told it would be 4 months. It was a very different story with Pool-Spas. Naomi was very clear immediately that there were lengthy lead times on most models and explained why including the manufacturing process. It was very obvious that this was a company that knew their products and manufacturers very well. We selected the model we wanted (Passion Spa Happy) in the finish that was available soonest and were advised it would be available for delivery in a few weeks . Naomi contacted me a couple of days later with the news that the manufacturer no longer had any of that style available in that timeframe so we changed to a different finish. The communication throughout was very professional, pleasant and I truly felt like my business mattered to both Naomi and Neil personally. Even when things went awry due to the manufacturer Naomi herself felt the disappointment as much as I did. There was a slight additional delay on delivery due to earlier explained circumstances but the hot tub arrived on the day and date arranged. 3 men manoeuvred it to our preferred position and very quickly set it up and explained the basics. They were very chatty and lovely fellas who ensured everything was perfect and they also tidied up all the packaging and removed it. The following morning they returned to double check everything and go through all the features and instructions. We could not have asked for a better service and are over the moon with our hot tub. Would highly recommend (and already have!!) well done to you all!!”

“We’ve had our son swimming here regularly once per week. The groups are small so children learn much quicker than they would elsewhere and Kitt the instructor has pushed him on to develop. With her guidance his confidence in the water has gone through the roof and he loves going under water. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get their children into swimming.”

“I joined this gym a few months ago after comparing to other gyms in the local area and this was by far the best gym. It has a great variety of classes, a lovely swimming pool, sauna, steam room and cold plunge pool. The gym is fantastic with a huge variety of equipment and free weights. A special mention goes to personal trainer Eliza. I signed up for some 1-2-1 sessions with her which proved invaluable. Her knowledge is vast and she listened to what I wanted to achieve and designed 3 programs for me to follow for upper, lower and full body strength training. I highly recommend her! I've found all the staff friendly and the changing facilities are great. too.”

“I joined David Lloyd and started PT sessions with Ana Ava at the same time. Having never joined a gym before, it's been so valuable to have Ana guiding me through and building my confidence. I'm 6 months postpartum an it's only been a month of PT sessions and I already feel such a difference and am lifting heavier than I thought I would. Ana is fab - she's encouraging without being too pushy, genuinely celebrates your wins and adjusts each session to what you need. I'd really recommend her!”

“In the sunshine it is perfect. Only up to their knees but deep enough to splash about and play with friends. Little shop selling floats, balls, water guns etc. Not too expensive and they blow the items up for you. Considering the pool is free it's brilliant. My 2 and their friends had a great hour and would have stayed loads longer but we had plans.”

“Nice pool, relatively new, It was quiet around midday and we had the pool to ourselves, I forgot my shorts luckily they had some there for sale. There’s a café selling snacks and coffee…”

“Booked for my daughter's birthday who is SEN, for family to come and for us to enjoy a private and safe atmosphere for her birthday. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Clear instructions before our visit and on site. Everyone had a great time. Everything was clean and tidy. Not the first time we have been before and most certainly will be returning. Thanks again our daughter and family loved it!”

“This pool looks wonderful now. A bit different from the open air pool I knew when I was at school there 1954 - 1961. No filtration and water only changed when it was like pea soup! Happy days though.”

“After searching for ages for a suitable hot tub we decided on a Jacuzzi tub purely because of the reputation, quality and warranty. Visited Leeds showroom. Ashley spent Loads of time with us explaining, clarifying all the things we needed. He obviously loved his job and new everything about the products. Decided on the model and signed up. VERY professional start to finish. Made loads of calls to them about the installation ALWAYS polite and really helpful. Had to move the date a couple of times, nothing was too much bother. Installation day arrived Two really friendly guys arrived went through everything with us twice because its a lot to take in, very patient. The tub is perfect we are 110% sure we made the right choices with the Brand and the Supplier. If you have any doubts whilst scouring the net think of this review. Couldn't have been easier!!!!!”

“I was worried as I saw reviews after booking but my experience was totally different we arrived and were checked in straight away. The room was clean and modern and staff very helpful Would defiantly stay again.”

“My son has been attending mini riders on a Sunday morning since February and has been an amazing way for him to learn and gain confidence on his scooter. He can have help from the pros but also really benefits from seeing other kids his age. If I ever ask him what he wants to do on a weekend the answer is always LS-Ten. We had his 6th birthday party here this weekend and I couldn't have been happier. Everyone had a fantastic time and Sam was great and patient teaching the kids some pointers on skateboarding. Everyone came out telling me they had the best time and wanted to come back again. My son was buzzing, and we just love it here. Lastly (though most importantly) the coffee is really good!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Outstanding support and a wonderful day out Today I visited Go Ape with my son, who I know is afraid of heights and adventure. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a team member called Ben, who instantly made my son feel comfortable and reassured. His patience, encouragement, and kindness throughout the event made a huge difference to our day. I also want to thank two other fantastic staff members one with dark hair and a headband, and another who was at the gate and later on the zip line. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names, but your support did not go unnoticed. Thanks to the team’s positivity and understanding, my son pushed himself further than I thought possible. We’ll definitely be back soon with my other son, who I’m sure will complete the course!”

“Stunning little place, had a fabulous relaxing afternoon, staff very welcoming and helpful, keeping us informed how everything worked and checking in, very private hot tub area with the perfect ambient music playing, afternoon tea was lovely and we all enjoyed a treatment to finish, came away very relaxed , will definitely be back , thank you !”

“Great place to swim . Absolutely love the views also it was so hot day that the water was so warm . Never ever heard any place you can swim in Leeds , but this truly is safe for swim . There is a group who doing full moon swim sessions at this lake which is interesting event. I did not try but probably will join. Absolutely stunning walk with birds and nature . Hiking possibilities with beautiful views . I will definitely come to see this beautiful place again . There is public toilets available and also cafeteria with amazing views .”

“Roundhay Park is absolutely brilliant – one of the best city parks I’ve ever visited. It’s massive, beautifully maintained, and has something for everyone. The lakes, woodlands, and wide open green spaces make it perfect for walks, picnics, or just relaxing outdoors. We spent a good few hours wandering around and still didn’t see it all. The walk around Waterloo Lake was especially lovely, with ducks and swans, and loads of scenic spots to stop and take in the view. The Tropical World nearby is also well worth a visit if you’ve got kids or just fancy something a bit different. Great facilities too – plenty of parking, clean toilets, and cafes dotted around for a coffee or snack. Whether you’re local or just visiting Leeds, Roundhay Park is a must-see. A proper breath of fresh air right on the city’s doorstep.”

“Beautiful park, amazing trees and plants. Had a funfair in park if you have little ones. Live music and has tennis courts and mini golf. Not sure if fair and live music on all time but we went on Sunday 27th July.”
