“Interesting and informative to walk round. Steps for better viewing, well maintained for picnics on the grass. Special events so check their website. Cafe and toilets plus kids park, really good few hours! Car park nearby (I parked in morrisons as shopping after) and you can walk around the outside, on paths and over the road.”

“We brought around 50 people to Diggerland at the weekend, and the feedback has been incredible! All week we’ve been hearing how wonderful the day was and how outstanding the staff were. Many of our members even commented that it felt like a special autism-friendly day because of how patient, supportive, and understanding the team was. That speaks volumes about the kindness and professionalism of your staff. Despite the cold, rainy weather, your team managed to make the day feel warm, welcoming, and full of fun. “Love this area. Paths are well laid out and most of them are mobility scooter/wheelchair friendly. Great to let your dog off the lead. Not just paths but nature areas as well. Highly recommended”

“Nice size park for taking our little dog for a walk. Plenty of seats and the park is well cared for, the garden areas always look nice and the kids play area is currently being updated.”

“Very pleasant staff that I spoke to. The whole place appears clean and tidy. The pool was nice and warm and the changing areas appear to have underfloor heating, which is great when you get out of the pool. The showers were also a good temperature, and lasted a reasonable amount of time. Plenty staff cleaning the locker area, regularly. I believe the car park was free for 3 hours. As of February 25, they're taking cash, which is a big bonus, as I'd much rather pay cash. Most leisure centres around here have gone cashless. I'll define going back here, even though it's not the closest leisure centre to me. I assume this is run by Leeds City Council - Great job! Miles better than any of the Kirklees facilities.”

“Had a great time here today. Got here for 10am and parked (£3.00). Two outdoor parks one free and one £3 for over 2s. Not quite sure why you need to pay for this park but anyway we did and the beach and water was great too. Says no paddling or inflatables but no one took notice.”

“Shout out for Mytholmroyd Community Centre. We had a wedding there today and those guys at the Community Centre were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked hard to get everything just right for us. They were so supportive, flexible, and helpful. The linen they provided was of hotel standard. Thankyou! We appreciate you!”

“An amazing play area for kids, great friendly staff and service. We had food too whilst here and it was great quality at great prices. Lots of things to do for the kids including a small climbing wall and football pitch. Will defo be returning and even in times of Covid we felt very Covid safe and lots of things in place to help keep to regulations.”

“St George's Square is a clean and open space in Huddersfield town centre. It as a water feature that operates in the summer months, a large, bronze statue of one time prime ministers Harold Wilson who was born in Huddersfield. The stunning buildings that surround the square include the grade1listed railway station that was opened in 1847 and described by John Betjeman as "the most splendid in England." The station incoperates 2 bars at either side. Another architectural and historical building is the grade 2 listed building, The George Hotel which is where in 1895 the birth of Rugby League took place. This hotel is presently closed but rumours continue to circulate that this one time splendid hotel may be opened in time for the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The whole Square is surrounded by some of Huddersfield's most impressive buildings which also include Lion Chambers, Britannia Buildings and Tites building to name a few. St George's Square hosts many events including in December a four day Food and Drink festival and Festival of Light just to name a couple. In the summer months this Square is a vibrant, busy place and a real treasure of Huddersfield.”

“Jccs tennis centre. Great coaches. Perfect waiting area. Plenty of tennis classes. Great opportunity for kids beginners. Nice and warm inside. A lot of classes for adults. I love this tennis club. Recommend it strongly. Great car parking area.”

“I would highly recommend going to Total Fitness I went today and it was my first time going to gym was super nervous first, but I got showed around by Harry and he was lovely then I had a 1-1 session with Luke for an hour and he was fantastic made me feel so comfortable, it was the best workout ever, I can’t even feel my legs haha and now I’m really excited to go back to the gym. I’ve signed up now for a 12 month membership I would definitely go to total fitness and if you’re new to the gym don’t be nervous as they treat you will respect and don’t judge you at all!”

“Very friendly and helpful team, facilities are very clean, only issue I had was lack of signage/information about where the lockers and showers as it was my first visit and has two yong children with me, but now I know the next visit will be a lot easier. The swimming lessons for kids are very well organised and instructors very knowledgeable and friendly.”

Also made them aware that some members of the group were anxious and would prefer somewhere quieter. They went above and beyond our expectations! Plus their food is amazing! Will 100% be coming back.
