Great selection of proper beers and ciders. Prices ok for city center and about the same as other places locally. Lovely, knowlegable staff. Nice place to spend afew hours
There's always a friendly atmosphere, many guest ales, ciders and more. The staff are very knowledgeable and keen to give recommendations. The place has an old feel but still clean.
An interesting design with good seating. TV available. A nice assortment of drinks with pleasant bar staff. Good for Town hall, museum & library visits.
So pleased that this pub has been reopened, many happy pre pandemic hours spent here under the old ownership. Nice that it’s new owners, Black Sheep, have continued with the large selection of drinks from other providers. Prices are good too which is always a plus!
Fantastic place for craft ciders and beers!! Small compared to other bars and pubs but ample for the crowd - it almost feels like a secret that nobody else in Leeds knows about but your one of the privileged few that do! Always on my list for drinking in leeds - they have a well stocked bar of spirits, ciders, beers, stout, coffees and crisps.
I discovered this amazing pub in August and been 4 times now. Im a real cider fan and this pub is the current winner for having so many choices. It always has over 22 real ciders to try every time I've been. They do 3 1/3rd tasting trays which is a really good way to try ciders with friends. Friendly staff that know about the drinks This pub in my fave pub in Leeds for real ciders.
Lovely pub. Simple but tasty food and they have a good range of beers. Decent place to be able to hang out with friends although it would be good if they had a few more non alcoholic options. Was very nice of the bar person to point out that the beer I wanted would be almost £14 for a pint!!
