“Pool tables are mainly American style with one British reg table. Dart board and loads of screens. Cost of pool is a bit pricey, worked out at about 2.50 a game for the time we were there. (Played at a casual pace - cost for tables is by time) reasonable priced drinks and a great atmosphere. Will visit again for sure.”

“It is a first free outside pool for kids to play. It is not deep and suitable for all ages kids. It's probably about 50cm deep all along. Very big and grass around to play and run. There are few benches for those not wishing to go in the water. Definitely coming back again.”

“We had a new pool installed a few years ago and have used Rockingham Pools for closing down and opening our pool ever since. Although they didn’t install the pool they are very knowledgeable of our system and are reliable and punctual on each visit. We therefore asked them to repair our hotub that is sunken into our patio and the pumps were flooded and stopped working!! Within a couple of days of my request they came out to have a look and the next day I received the quote, then within a few days our hotub was up and running again. However due to a small electrical problem it wasn’t quite right and they came straight out the very next day to see to it. I cannot recommend them enough, what a super company to deal with, thank you Rockingham!!!”

“I think this is a great gym. I hired Michelle as my Personal Trainer for 6 sessions. I was a total gym hater and didn't know what to expect from a PT. Michelle was wonderful she was patient yet challenging when I needed to be challenged. She keeps my sessions varied and is a real motivational trainer. Michelle has me running and planking which is amazing considering I am a novice. I now look forward to going.”

“My wife and I made our first visit to 'The Stump' ( Mount Pleasant) since the 1980's . After a recommendation on Facebook we decided to call in for a late night drink after playing Bridge. The Mount Pleasant is open until 23:00 and serves until 22:45 . We had checked on the Real Ale Finder site that the Mount Pleasant regularly updates and found that they had an interesting Abbeydale Hazelnut and Coffee Stout on. They regularly change 9 of the real ales that they have on offer and a chalk board lists the beers and prices . The Mount Pleasant has a long ( thin) layout with a car park ( also long and thin on its right hand side ) . We accessed the pub via a rear door from the car park . A covered smoking deck is at the back then the single door access ( with a single step) leafs into a corridor that runs the length of the pub with single doorways to enter the front and rear bar rooms . The pub was warm and friendly with a group of people at another table enjoying snack type food . We had a half of the Abbeydale Stout and were pleasantly surprised by the price of only £3.90 for a pint of this 5.2% strength Stout. We enjoyed it so much we squeezed in another half before closing time . The service was friendly and when I mentioned that the last time we visited the Mount Pleasant was in the 1980's the landlady jokingly replied that she was not even born then. It is not surprising that The Mount Pleasant is in the 2025 Camra Good Beer Guide . We both enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Stump as a 'must visit ' if you are in the area .”

“Highly accessible with multiple points of entry for all age groups. Brilliant for kids and adults alike with plenty of space, playgrounds and footpaths. Its also very well maintained and even has a nature reserve. Beautiful place.”

“Highly rated day out with kids! Fantastic parks and cycle paths for kids. All flat terrain. Ice cream shops readily available. Only note would be to make sure you take change for the car park, as the card reader facility doesn't work.”

“Excellant place for a stroll.Good play area for the kids. The council have provided ample bins for rubbish. However anoying to see that people still seem to avoid using them. Great wood carvings from tree trunks.”

“My children visit here every Saturday without fail to enjoy an hour at there amazing roller disco. They go there without us parents cramping there style and we have full confidence they are safe and looked after. My oldest child is 13 and younger is 9, they meet up with friends and have made many friends there too. They both love the experience and say how lovely the staff are and the people attending there too. They have no problem requesting music from the DJ who always complies. The place is very clean and cheap for the service they are providing. They do lots more than roller disco there but this is all i can really comment on. Would highly recommend”
