   Been coming here over the last 4 years sporadically and it's getting worse. I was here fishing for 5 hours and got more bites off refusing foreigners who wanted to buy bait off me than I did actuall fish. The pools used to be great and though catching wasn't easy you always caught something at least. There needs to be more checking on the licences and permits as when I asked someone who wanted to buy bait, they laughed and walked off.

   Clay pigeon shooting Stag Do !!! They didn't stop talking about it !! Party of 12 had such a great couple if hours with non stop banter. I was so jealous I wasn't there !! Perhaps I should rethink my hen do ? X !!

   Went here to shoot clays with a friend as a guest, shot about 80 shells from almost all of the stages there is about 8/9 that I counted with a good variety of angles and speeds for different skill levels. The cost seems pretty reasonable as I am not a regular (about 35p a clay) and the staff are friendly and helped with a minor issue with one of the launchers straight away. The sausage sarnie was also really nice before a shoot! 10/10 would recommend.

   I've been shooting at this ground for 6 years now and its always been very friendly. Its nice and easy to checkin if your have your own licence and go shoot the traps. The traps are good and enjoyable - some are to challenge your skills. Just wish they'd update the sitting area inside to something more stylish and formal - tweed, stags on walls, big leather sofa's! Maybe something to consider. Otherwise my always go to place to shoot clays.

   Nice fishery clean and tidy but lots of noise from air rifles and shotgun shooting. Was very cold day even had snow tried two lakes and only caught a few silvers. And a friend caught a nice carp at end of day. First time here will come back in the summer
