Beautiful walk, very accessible for push chairs, wheel chairs & some all terrain mobility scooters. There's a beautiful lake, a railway cafe half way through and deers closer than ive ever seen. There's lots of parking and a cafe on the carpark.
It was nice and quiet, the old trians and the little shops inside the carriages was nice. And the amount of deer we saw was lovely,never been so close to deer before. A nice day out somewhere different , just wet grey English weather
Highly rated day out with kids! Fantastic parks and cycle paths for kids. All flat terrain. Ice cream shops readily available. Only note would be to make sure you take change for the car park, as the card reader facility doesn't work.
A great place to visit solo, or with friends and family, Chasewater Country Park is a must for outdoor lovers! I’ve been a few times now - including as a group with church, a family trip with my parents, and, most recently a solo trip where I ran a 5k around the larger of the two lakes. In each instance, I had a great time! There’s plenty to do! There’s a gift shop, a café and a play-area for the kids. Not to mention an ice-cream parlour, a railway station and museum, and a variety of water sports available. There are also different walks you can take around the lakes, across meadows and through woodland (marked by different coloured arrows) – and at only £3.50 for all-day parking, it’s well worth it. Highly recommended for the whole family! You won’t be disappointed :)
Lovely just to relax in the sun on Wednesday one of the hottest days. Sat in the shade & had our picnic very nice quite a lot people about. Free parking with our blue badge. Had a walk around the one that is annoying us the chasewater shop & is always closed and the toilets what's going on. So we walked it around to the little cafe and had a lovely ice cream
That's such a nice place to take a walk and spend time in the fresh air, nearby to water reservoir. It's a clear way to car park, quite big enough, Exhibition Center, playground and picnic area, wake boarding trail and lovely paths around the water. It's possible to be a passenger of special railways on Brown Hills station. Great experience and also occasion to meet wild animals in the forest.
It's a really amazing place and cheap car parking, only £3.00 for the full day. There's so much to do and see here: - Big open kids play area - so great for kids - The Shed for coffee or amazing ice cream for your walk or pit stop. - Beautiful walk around the lake, approx 3.25miles, or further if going off trial and explore. - Amazing cafe at the train station section, seating with inside & outside, see the trains and gift shop. - There's also a small caravan park on the waterside - There's also loads of water sports here too but I'm yet to have a go at them - A lovely cafe (The Station Cafeteria - by Burntwood) with inside and outside seating, some of the outside seating will have a parasol. - Public toilet available
First visit to this amazing place! Really cheap car parking, only £3.00 for the full day so great value. There's so much to see & do here: - Just an amazingly beautiful walk around the lake, there's a short wooden bridge, a lovely raised section, & an off track path too - A lovely cafe with inside & outside seating, some of the outside seating is covered too - Another amazing cafe at the train station section that's fenced off with inside & outside heating - There's also a small caravan park on the waterside - There's also loads of water sports here too but I'm yet to have a go at them Will be returning here soon
Great place to walk beautiful country side a must to visit great for dog walking. I had not been around here in years I was very surprised how lovely it was. Nice places to stop for refreshments a nice park for the children.
